Nice pictures but a little on the long side for a picture book. Its a nice message and would be good for Sunday school.

It’s not often you read a children’s book that relates the Trinity (or talks about it at all!) to marriage. I really love that. Beautiful illustrations and a unique way of presenting this topic.

Great illustrations and storyline. Enjoyed reading this book with my children about a topic that interested us.

This is a children’s book on God’s creation. The subtitle of the book is “A Story of God’s Overflowing, Creative Heart.” It informs the reader of how God created everything out of love but there’s more to the story! The writer Quina Aragon wrote a beautiful book and it was also beautifully illustrated by Scotty Reifsnyder. I enjoyed reading this book to my young kids.
I thought this was a deeper children’s book on God creating everything in that it touches on the Trinity. You don’t see that a lot in children’s book. I commend the writer for her Trinitarian consciousness. Also the book made the point that while God created the world out of love, God also didn’t need to create us; God is sufficient and satisfied within the Triune Godhead. I thought that was deep and yet is written in a way that my kids can grasp. The book towards the end ties that with also how the love within marriage does bring about the creation of “you” (the child or children hearing their parents reading this book). That last part might prompt the kids to ask more questions, some of which might be further answer later in life but still it lets the child knows that he or she is not only loved by God but by their parents. It is beautifully illustrated, and is clean (obviously since its Christian). I really loved the colors and the use of shadows while my daughters loved the illustrations of animals and epic scenery. Overall I would say this book is good: It is kids tested, pastor approved!

The Father loving the Son and the Son right right back, the Spirit rejoicing in it all. All that He made out of love. A perfect love union. Not out of need? Forever intact. You see, God is Love, the Father, The Spirit, the Son. And Love loved so much that Love made us, Loved caused creation and now all that He made in Six days was an overflow of that: God's happiness within Himself bubbled over to make creation sharing with His joy, allowing them to know and Praise Him.

I am bubbled over this sweet read to little ones that bubbles over the love of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. A love that gives, teaches not of need but of enjoyment thru creation. What God has made is good because He is good. If anything, this little study for little hearts is about joy. A reminder for us as parents and grandparents. Highly recommend.

A Special Thank you Harvest House Publishers and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

This book surprised me a little bit. And I'll tell you why in a second.

First, the illustrations. I really like this style but some pages were too crowded, too much going on or too many layers and too many bold colors. That makes it hard to concentrate on the content which, in addition to that, is a bit abstract.

Now, maybe I misunderstood the book description but the premise led me to believe that this was going to be a story about the Trinity of God and how He made everything with love, thus you are loved and wonderfully made. BUT, it is actually about the spiritual aspect of God's overflowing love mirrored in the overflowing love of a couple, resulting in a BABY. Sooo, that caught me a bit off guard. Haha.

I do like the message of the book but I'm not sure what age group it is intended for as you have to be able to make the connection between God's Unity in Trinity resulting in creating the world and your parents' unity resulting in creating a baby. So, all in all it felt a bit too much for me.

Love Made was a beautiful story about bringing new life into the world with Christian stories and themes. The illustrations were perfect and the story of love being what made the child was excellent.

Our library has recently been seeing an increase in people asking for Christian books so I was excited to read this one to see if it's one we should keep on our radar. It was a cute book and I liked the photos in it a lot, but the last few pages were a little bit off putting for me? We have a lot of families that don't fall in to the "dynamic" family where parents are divorced or only one parent is involved in the child's life so the "mom and dad loved each other and made you out of that love" message didn't seem like it needed to be in a book about the trinity.
