This was a good little story to read for the holiday season; it packs in everything you would want for a Christmas read including dogs, love, friendship, and the magic of the season. I also enjoyed that there was a small sports-themed plot point in this story making it a bit different from all of the rest. I do wish that this story had been a little longer and more evenly paced, but regardless, it was still a cute story and perfect of your holiday reading!

Breath of Christmas is a very well written inspirational romance. I enjoyed the plot, characters and writing. I received an arc from Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.

Not wanting to quit competing, he learns that God doesn’t always give you the answers you like to hear. Will Robbie keep is faith in God and see the potential gift he could have or will he put himself in danger repeatedly until he can no longer breathe?

Hero Description

There are several environmental triggers for it, which is where Molly the service dog comes in. Molly is able to detect potential triggers and decrease Robbie’s overall anxiety during a severe asthma attack. He has stopped praying for healing and started praying for strength to make it through each episode stronger than he did before.

At the last minute she is told that she will be working the event as a personal assistance for Robbie Kendrick one of the greatest competitive snowboarders.

Book Details
This is a very short stand alone novel. It goes fast and left me turning the pages. I know some made the complaint that it was rushed because of the length, but in all honesty, I thought the flow was spot on for a novella. I also like that it is very clean and you know exactly where each characters faith lies.

My Opinion
I give this book 4 - Stars. It was simple, sweet, short and had great character building. I would recommend it for Adults and Teens.

5***** = Best book ever!
4**** = Excellent book.
3*** = Good book.
2** = Meh, it was ok.
1* = Did not care for it.

Esther is only working at the Ski resort for the weekend until the Santa Snow Challenge is over. When her boss asks her to drive around a certain competitor, Esther agrees. But things are more complicated than they seem. Her job isn't just to tote him around, it's also to carry around his service dog.

Robbie isn't going to let something like asthma keep him from pursuing his dream of being a snowboarder. And he certainly won't let anyone talk him out of competing in the Santa Snow Challenge. He knows the risks. One false move and he could be dead but it's worth it. It's never fun to have constant asthma attacks but with Molly his service dog by his side, what could go wrong?

My major complaints in short stories is that authors tend to have a rushed romance that feels to unrealistic to be true. This is the first time I've read a short story where I felt like things progressed naturally. This was an interesting read, drawing me in from the very beginning.

This book is appropriate for all ages.
