A solid Sinclair standard from J.S. Scott. I like getting to know the West Coast Sinclairs. I really enjoyed Aiden. I was not such a fan of Skye. Pretty much from the onset, I could not get over her deception of Aiden. She was headstrong -- to a fault.

It was great to catch up with a few other couples too. I really would like an East Coast update book, even if it's a novella!

The writing was fine. At this point, the Sinclair books are pretty much formulaic in their structure. If you're looking for new twists/turns, you won't find them. Still an enjoyable read.

4.5 stars - Entangled is exactly what it promises to be - a steamy and heartfelt romance. Our H and h are once upon a time lovers who have a few wires to uncross before they can begin living their HEA. it’s worth the read.

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

J. S. Scott is awesome! The story of Aiden and Skye was perfect. Mrs. Scott draws you into the story where you can relate to the characters. You end up rooting for Aiden and Skye. I can’t wait for Seth and Riley’s story!!

I am a fan of this authors work and was very excited to receive this ARC. Having said that I was very disappointed with this book,. It seemed to lack a maturity in the writing, the storyline felt old and tired and has been done so many times before, nothing was fresh about this story and I really did not enjoy the main characters. I don't think that leaving review on retailers would be a disservice.

Entangled is a second-chance romance told in dual POV. And my first JS Scott book.

This is the story of Skye and Aiden. At the beginning the book is set 8 years into the past when our heroine is eighteen, and she meets our hero and they spend all summer together. After the end of summer, Aiden leaves for a job, in which they both made promises to one another.

But young love doesn’t alway last and so much can happen in those weeks apart. Weeks turn to months and then years. But when Skye returns to her hometown, things are left very unsettled between the two. Broken hearts do not stop their hot as Hell chemistry. Ultimately when the truth comes to light will they find their way back together?

This book has some twists and turns, some unexpected. But I wanted a little more on some of the backstory to some of the characters pasts. Their reunion was a little quick for my liking. I wanted to feel the separation between them, their internal struggles. They didn’t work too hard for it.

This was a good book.

I received an ARC for a honest review. Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley.

Entangled
by J.S. Scott
Description
There’s nothing richer than a second chance in the steamy second book of New York Times bestselling author J.S. Scott’s Accidental Billionaires series.

Aiden Sinclair was a commercial fisherman before he suddenly came into his billionaire inheritance—not that he’s complaining. Being a Sinclair does have its perks. But things were simpler before the money. He may have been dirt poor, but he loved his job and fully intended to always come back from the sea to his girlfriend, Skye Weston, so they could move toward something more permanent. Or at least that had been the plan…until he returned from a two-month fishing trip to discover she had moved away and was marrying somebody else. It tore his world apart.

Now Skye’s back in town after nearly a decade. She’s a single mother and just as beautiful as ever. However, for some odd reason, she appears to hate him, when it should be Aiden who wants nothing to do with the woman who dumped him. Unfortunately, more than nine years of separation have done nothing to put a damper on their white-hot chemistry. But even if those feelings are real, Skye has been keeping secrets. The truth of the past is about to come to light, and there is so much more at stake than just Aiden’s heart.

Well, it was not what I expected. Being said this is my fault. I do not read romance novels much, and never the "billionaire" kind. I also had no idea this was a series. So it was a 3 strike for me thing. The book was unbelievable, and the people were all about "Billions" of dollars. Maybe, most people who the fantasy of all this enjoy this. Again, my problem, my opinion.

First, thank you so much for the advance copy! I have read all of the Books in the series. I loved Aiden and Skye. Their story was a difficult one, but I was glad they both were able to get over what happened in the past so that they could have a beautiful life with Maya. Skye’s life was so hard but in the end she was where she belongs and a part of the Sinclair family. I loved the ending! I highly recommend this book especially if you have been keeping up with the Sinclaire’s

I am almost ashamed to say this but while I have been promoting J.S. Scott books for a while now this is only the second book of hers that I have actually read. Jumping into the middle of a series is doable but the whole time I found myself intrigued by the other family members and their stories. Not only that but as I was highly impressed with the level of drama that J.S. Scott can bring and this is causing me to be uber curious about what the others will go through to find their happily ever after. So I will now be going back and reading the others. I have to have ALL of the information.

100% of the time when an author puts kids into their stories, I am 100% hooked. I have said it a million times, but kids bring out a sensitivity in the story telling that pulls me in as well.

Not only was the child/adult relationship pulling me in but Skye's history puts you on the edge of your seat a little bit.

The whole time I was reading Entangled I found myself totally engulfed in the story and when I had to adult I was excited to get back to the story. For sure a major win for me.

I am giving this story 5 stars and will be going back to fall more in love with the Sinclair family!

Entangled is the first book I've read in this series and it can be read as a standalone story. It was an okay read for me. This is a second chance with your first love story and there were things I liked and disliked it. Aiden, Skye and the side characters were likable. However, I needed more from Aiden and Skye. They had love for each other but I didn't believe they were in love. Yes, there was chemistry and attraction, and I even believe a connection but I wanted to feel as if they deeply loved each other and I didn't. Some parts of the story seemed rushed and some parts were slower than I expected. This story was a romance read but for me it seemed light on the romance. I just wished there was something more, I feel as if this story was missing that something that would have made this a great read. It wasn't a bad story but honestly I did expected to enjoy it more.

Entangled by JS Scott is a second-chance romance told in dual POV.

At eighteen, Skye met and spent the summer of her life with Aiden Sinclair the man she comes to love.

When summer ended, Aiden had to leave for an eight week commercial fishing job but not before the two made promises of reuniting afterward and a declaration of love from Skye.

A lot can change in eight weeks and when Aiden returns, Skye is no longer waiting. In fact, she is marrying someone else.

Almost ten years later, Skye is back in town and is acting like she hates him when she is the one who left and betrayed him.

Amidst hurt feelings, broken hearts and secrets their chemistry is as hot as ever.

When the truth surfaces, will Skye and Aiden be able to find their way back to each other?

In the beginning this author captured me with young love, ideals and separation.

My heart was in my throat for them when I found out what happened.

There were twists and turns that I didn’t see coming.

I also loved the fact that all the cards were laid on the table from the get-go.

I must say that although my attention was captured in the beginning, I had a hard time with their reuniting. I wanted to believe in their relationship but It was a little too seamless and quick for me.

I wanted them to work for it. I wanted to feel Skye’s hesitancy and intimacy issues.
Instead, I had a hard time believing that she had any.

Their was a lot of bad history with her husband and it was not fleshed out enough for me. This whole backstory is what makes Skye who she is and it felt glossed over.

This book started out strong but fizzled a little as the story progressed.

The difference between an amazing read and the good read I experienced is in this couple’s struggle or lack thereof when getting back together.

For two people who loved each other so strongly, the emotions good and bad felt muted, dull. The anger and pain they both felt was too easily swept away.

I received an ARC via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Aiden & Skye’s story is about second chances. Scott does great with these characters And everything seems so real. Things happen sometimes without a reason & when the times comes around & you get a chance to see what you didn’t get to in the beginning, you have to decide if you can overcome it, or let it ruin your happiness.
I loved this book & can’t wait until the next one.

Another steamy romance by J. S. Scott. This is the story of Skye and Aiden. So much has changed in 9 years. Skye find herself face to face with Aiden Sinclair, at His sister Jade’s wedding . Aiden can’t figure out why Skye hates him so much. They work to come to terms with their past, their choices and their daughter Maya.

Really enjoyed this story.

If you haven't read any of the other Sinclair family books, it's not necessary to read before this one but I think it adds to it. Knowing the background a bit more from the other stories kept this one afloat during the parts that some of the writing felt stalled or stilted in a sense. Like the story, it just wasn't my favorite of the series or of the other Sinclair books (other series but tied together). The sneak peak of 2 brothers and their potential stories has me ready and waiting for Seth's story, but really I want to know what makes Noah tick.

I received an ARC from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

Love this series by J S Scott. Aiden and Skye have a history but have not been together for almost a decade. Once they reconnect, its a great story of connection. Both are mad at each other whih has keep them apart for so long. Skye's priority has always been her daughter. Once Aiden and Skye realize why they have been apart, it makes them want to be together.

J S Scott makes you feel the connections of all these characters ans makes you fall in love with them as they fall in love with themselves. Aiden and Skye and Maya together along with all the Sinclairs makes me get excited for the next book in the series!

I really enjoyed Entangled although I did find a part of it far fetched.. Aiden and Skye had a beautiful romance going when they were young but it was a love that would have lasted forever except for a major misunderstanding and some misplaced interference by someone close to Aiden. After being gone for years Skye comes back to Citrus Beach to run the restaurant her mom had left to her after her death. With a young daughter to raise and the restaurant run down and needing major repairs Skye is barely getting by.
Meanwhile Aiden, who was a poor fisherman when Skye disappeared is now a billionaire. Skye avoids Aiden for a long time after her return because she hates him...but Aiden doesn’t understand why. Aiden is also mad at Skye for not waiting for him and running off to marry another man.
Secrets have kept them apart but when they finally see each other they still have a magnetic connection. But Skye holds her heart sealed off and fights her attraction.
She also turns down Aidens offer to help her financially.
But sh*t happens, plans change and Aiden, Skye and her daughter are thrown together again.
The secret that Aiden’s family kept from him will not only shock you but it will make you angry. But Skye’s secret is one she shouldn’t have kept either.
This story is a spin-off of the Sinclair series which I loved! This book is a stand-alone and you don’t need to read the Sinclair series to understand it.
Definitely worth the read!
I was provided a copy of this book and I freely gave my honest review.

I love the writing style of J.S. Scott. This second chance at love story has a lot of heart and really great characters. Aiden has such a huge heart and when he find out about having a daughter he opens his arms wide to accept her and Skye into his life. The rekindling of their love is sweet and once Aiden breaks down her walls Skye is tumbling head over heels for her man again. Vegas was a sweet little vacation for them to reconnect. Interesting storyline, I just wish she could have talked less about the past once she moved on with Aiden. I know she was saying things to reassure him at times but it got a little redundant, towards the end.

What a way to start a book. Great characters. So much drama but what do you expect from a woman who had been through so much at such a young age.
