Adriana Locke takes us on an emotional journey for Neely Kimber. In high school, she fell in love with Dane and only ever wanted him, but she also wanted to go to college away from her small southern town and have a high profile career. Things go south in their relationship as she heads off to college. She ends up in New York with a great job. Ten years later, she is shunned for the promotion she deserves and should have. She decides to quit her job and return to her hometown while she licks her wounds and cyber searches for a new job back in New York. She never really planned to come back to Tennessee and wants to avoid seeing Dane at all costs. Fate is not so kind and she runs into him on her first day home. Dane can't seem to stay away but Neely can't forgive or forget his betrayal. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to anyone interested in a light read.
I'm giving this book 5 Stars because it has well developed characters, love, betrayal and redemption and is a good story that kept my attention.

A cute young love revisited in adult years story. Sometimes people have to grow up before they can work things out.

What a delightful surprise this turned out to be. I’ve been meaning to try out Adriana Locke for a while because I’ve heard good things, so I jumped at this opportunity at an early read. The blurb appealed with a second chance, small town romance and it delivered on that very well.

This book was a grower, it slowly simmered to a boil with a story that drew me in more over the pages. Dean grabbed my heart fairly quickly, I just knew there was more to the issue, I just didn’t know what. Mia was pretty likeable and Neely, like the story, grew on me. Neely was the one to return to her home town, down on her luck but a career and NY girl at heart. This book had a rich bunch of friends and family that made this read a little deeper than expected.

I did a fair bit of highlighting in this story and when I looked at what I’d highlighted, it was mostly Dean’s dialogue. He was written in such a belieavable way and the way he was trying to hold back on his affections just made me all heart eyes.

“She fit right back into that spot - her spot - in my life.”

This is an ideal escapism read with a small town theme and gorgeously romantic. I truly enjoyed Adriana Locke’s style of writing, it had just the right balance of the physical with far more focus on the emotional. I will be reading more from this author without a doubt and I’m looking forward to more from this particular series.

I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.

Wonderfully sweet story that will have you rooting for the characters even as the whole time you know that a happy ending is right around the corner. There is something very comforting about reading a story that you know where it will go but still feel invested and interested in the journey a long the way!

Has Dane Madden just overtook the Gibson Boys !?

Who isn't a sucker for a single dad Romance ? Along with a second chance love story (my favourite trope) together Adriana brings us another amazing story. She really does create the swooniest of men who steal your heart.

From the start I was hooked with this story and I loved Neely. Being totally honest I wanted to hate Dane (you'll see why when you read) but it just wasn't possible! This guy melts your heart and could have you eating from the palm of his hand.

The chemistry between these two is undeniable, the tension from the past only intensifies things and it's like these little sparks keep flickering just waiting to ignite enough to light the fire before the flames erupts the explosion !

It's definitely an emotional read, it's heart breaking and had me in a sobbing mess but the journey to repair their shattered hearts and mine is warm and loving and left me with butterflies in my stomach.

A story of betrayal and hurt that you feel so much it cuts you deep. Life choices and torn decisions. Do you follow you follow your heart and lose sight of your dreams. Are the risks we take worth the sacrifices we make!?

I'm a huge fan of Adriana and I love how we fall for not only the main character but how she always creates just as important secondary characters that become readers favourites too. They intrigue us and have us craving more of them. This new read is no different and there's more than you'll adore!

Another beautiful and captivating love story !

I love this second chance romance. I’m a huge fan of this author, I’m excited that I was given the chance to read this book. It’s very sweet to see that they got a chance of getting closure and moving on to what was meant to be.

Well, this is a hard review to write. I’m a fan of Adriana Locke, and have really liked her books in the past, but this one was a struggle. The writing was great, but I had a hard time liking the characters. This is a small town, second chance romance. I won’t give any spoilers but I’ll say that Dane broke her heart in a pretty unforgivable way in my eyes. As soon as that was revealed, I had a really hard time liking him. And I don’t like the way she apologized to him for something he did. After all of this takes place, I couldn’t get on board with their relationship. I really wished this one had worked for me, but unfortunately, it did not.

Wow. All I can say about this book is WOW. Okay, and that I totally loved Dane and Keely. I mean, Mia kinda stole the book, but this second-chance love story was simply spectacular. Romantic, sexy, and full of years and years worth of love. Just loved it!

I think this is probably the best second chance romance I've read... ever!!

This, the first in a new series by Adriana Locke not only gives us a story to swoon over, she also 'sets up' other possible matches throughout Neely and Dane's journey to HEA. I. Can't. Wait.!!!

I was really looking forward to reading this book especially with it being the start of a new series.
From the beginning I was instantly drawn into the story and felt very emotional through out it.
A beautiful second chance love story that had me guessing what went wrong until it was finally disclosed - it is the perfect slow burn reveal!
I really enjoyed Dane and Neely's story and I can't wait to read more about Penn and Matt too. Great writing - a fantastic start to a new series!!

Tumble is the first of Adriana Locke's Dogwood Lane series, and after reading it, I look forward to going back to the town and the people.

Tumble focuses on Neely Kimber and Dane Madden, who once shared young love, and now years later, discover they still have a deep connection with one another.

I truly enjoyed my first romance by Adriana Locke. Second-chance AND single dad romance?! Count me in.

One of the best aspects of this book was the camaraderie between all the friends (especially between Dane, Matt and Penn). Speaking of Penn....he was a riot, and I want his story ASAP.

Ahh damn this book was everything i didn't think i needed.
I absolutely love second chance books and then he's a single dad aswell!? Damn 😍

Dane and Neely have a rocky past and that's putting it mildly.
Neely comes back to Dogwood Lane because her job f'ed her over and she had enough. I really liked Neely, i didn’t always like her choices she made but i understand them to a point.
Dane i really liked too, he was amazing! Hard working, an amazing dad to his little girl! Sweet but also had that vibe about him.
I loved the secondary character's aswell like Matt, Penn, Grace and Claire i hope we get to see them again.

I really enjoyed this book and i can't wait to see what more comes from this world!

I absolutely loved this book. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. The angst, the words and the story was just perfect. The characters in this story made me laugh and broke my heart a little. Seriously this was an absolutely amazing love story. Adriana Locke made me fall in love with all of the characters in this story and I never wanted this story to end. I hope she writes more in this series and it's one of my favorite books I've read this year.

Adriana Locke knows how to write a small town, second chance romance like no other! Tumble checked off a ton of my favorite things….a single dad, a strong willed woman, great friends, a fantastic storyline, family and most importantly the fact you can always go home <3

I live for a good second chance romance and Tumble did not disappoint. Neely and Dane were Dogwood Lane’s all-American couple who had a falling out of epic proportions ten years ago and haven’t seen each other since. You know that feeling when you were a teenager and the boy you liked talked to you? Do you know the feeling of being in love with your best friend and looking forward to forever? The anger and frustration of a relationship gone in an instant. All of these things had me clutching my Kindle to my chest to try to ease the emotions that were spilling over while reading this book.

For me, the best part of the entire story was the slow build of Dane & Neely’s relationship. There was no jumping right back into a relationship were they left off. There was no make-believing they waited around for each other for ten years. There was nothing but truth and honesty and I found that very refreshing!

Neely, Dane and his daughter brought emotion, love, laughs and everything you need for a second chance romance. I enjoyed Tumble and cannot wait to see what comes next in Dogwood Lane!

Like anything else Adriana Locke writes, this book is great! A girl power main character who learns something is missing from her life. I definitely reccomend!

I'm rounding up and giving this one 4 stars even though a few things didn't flow well with me. The writing was fundamentally ok but it felt a bit clunky at times and honestly could have been a bit more...just more in others. Perhaps it needed to be deeper for me? I love 2nd chance stories and this one is definitely that it just didn't feel organic in the way it went down. I like this author's characters a lot though, no matter the series or world she writes in so if there's more I'm totally in.

I was so excited to read a new series from Adriana Locke and this book definitely did not disappoint with its second chance romance. I loved all the characters in this book and my heart moved for the mistakes and heartbreak that they had to endure. This book gave us a very determined career woman with a very sexy single father and the cutes little girl, with many other great characters in between to fall in love with. Full of twists and turns the author will send you on an emotional ride that you with thoroughly enjoy every page of.

Neely left Dogwood Lane for college 10 years ago with a broken heart, she is only just returning for the first time. Is fate that crawl that is would make her run into the person she has been trying for 10 years to forget Dane. Her only driving fouse has been her job and as she has just walked from that job she finds herself at a turning point in her life so she decides with the help of her best friends to return home for a new day to regroup.

“You know that they say – Sunshine brings opportunities.”
“A set of eyes the color of leaves at the beginning of spring snatch my gaze and pin me in place from a few feet away. There’re green so bright, so lively, so familiar.
Oh, carp.”

Dane has made some mistakes but he has not desirer to regret them all as he got the most precious gift out of it all Mia his daughter. He has tried to do the right thing and forget the one woman he hurt the most but what will he do when she walks back into town after being in New York for all these years?

“Neely isn’t someone I can gamble with. There’s no kissing and forgetting. There’s only wanting more. Needing more. Desiring more. And not being able to have it.”
“I broke her heart. I broke her heart in the worst way I could and the fact she didn’t tell me to f### right off is more than I really deserve. It’s thank I would’ve given me.”
Can mistakes you made as a teenager direct your whole life?
Can you forgive the one that broke your heart completely?
Can your job stay your most important part of your life?
Can you forgive other and your self and move forward?

"There's a wall between us we can't skirt. It's built with just as many tears and just as much betrayal as it is any good times we shared."

Hold onto your heart because this is a story filled with raw emotion, a couple who could be anyone of us, your friend, your sister, where we learn our decisions of the past can be so right or just as easily so wrong that you are left with a hole that can never be filled, from an that author writes small town romance that bleeds into your soul.

She thought Dane Madden was her forever.... Until he shattered her heart and left her broken and betrayed.
He knew he had to set Neely free... and she left without a a second glance which left him broken ...
Eleven Years later, Neely is back,a New Yorker, a determined successful woman at a crossroads in her career and Dane is a single parent.
I'm not sure my heart was prepared for Neely and Dane, their love leapt out of the pages as did their hurt and their anguish. Their personal lives so tied to each other, yet they so desperately tried to put on the facade that they were content with their lives. They just both stole my heart. Dane just blew me away, and i was cheering for them from the word go. I cried with them, I laughed with them, but i also wanted to knock their heads together. Life is always about choices and even with their back story i still rooted for them so hard. This author totally sucked me into their dilema's and had me hot under the collar one minute (well SERIOUSLY? that man is so freaking hot !!) and at the same time i was deeply in despair at them ever breaking the deadlock. Sometimes we need a big jolt, to realise what is most important to us, and taking this journey right along side them had me devouring the pages. My heart broke many times with this book, but it also healed !!! You just can't read this book and not fall in love with Dane, Neely, a particular adorable little girl and the whole town !!!!
