Yay! I finished another book and it was another good one.

Tumble was a very sweet read. It’s second chance romanse which take place in a small town Dogwood Lane, Tennessee. Neely, our heroine is coming back home and fell in love once again in the city and the men, who btw have a nine years old daughter now. There is a lot of sweet and funny scenes, just like you can always count in Adriana Locke books.

It was easy reading, nothing spectacular, so 4 stars.

I want to go to Dogwood Lane! Especially with hunks like the terrific single dad, Dane. But he’s going to have to work to get a second chance with the beautiful Neely. He’s definitely was a bad boy with a lot to make up for but Neely is worth it. What a fabulous couple this wonderful author has given us to root for in this spectacular new series. I zipped through this one with the fantastic storytelling and swoony characters to love included a wee one. You know what you’ll get with this author every time and this story does not disappoint. I’m ready to get tangled up in the next one! Loved it!

Adriana Locke has a knack for writing small town romances full of southern charm. Tumble is the first book in her Dogwood Lane series and I am already excited to see what else is in store for this series!

This is a book that is heart wrenching, yet so healing with that second chance romance in the air. Neely and Dane have a rich history that is colored with both painful and happy memories. They both made mistakes, but they are hoping that this time around they can do things the right way. This was a very nostalgic book about coming home and finding your peace in the world among people who care about you.

I loved the almost slow burn feel in this book because Neely and Dane didn't rush into anything, which I really liked. They both took their time to figure out if they could truly make it work without resentment or the past getting in the way. Dane is the ultimate southern gentlemen who is sweet, protective, and willing to put Neely and Mia, his beautiful little girl, first in his life. Neely is an ambitious woman who is the woman every mother wants their son to bring home to meet her.

Together, they are a match made in heaven. They knew from a young age that they would be together forever, but sometimes life throws you curveballs that you don't expect. I really felt these two needed those curveballs to become the people they were always meant to be.

I also really loved the other characters in the book and look forward to their stories.

Rating: 4 Stars!

I discovered Adriana Locke a couple years ago and binge read her backlog in a weekend. I was simply hooked on her story telling skills. Tumble made me sigh and smile.

I believed in the connection these characters had. I FELT it right along with them; it was that authentic to me. I love second chance romance so seeing them come back together just felt right.

I can't wait to see where this Author takes this series.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I've enjoyed Adriana's previous books, especially the Landry family series. While this book was enjoyable, it wasn't a favourite. Overall, not bad and still worth a shot for fans and new readers.

"There's a wall between us we can't skirt. It's built with just as many tears and just as much betrayal as it is any good times we shared."

This small town story was the perfect book , it has the things I needed. Tumble is a sexy, second-chance romance!

“Life isn’t fair. If it was…” He looks around the porch before coming back to me. “If it was fair, you and I would’ve ended up together.”

This was a wonderful story and near to the end, it became too much emotional. My heart was aching for everyone.Neely was a stong and independent woman... Her heart was broken because of Dane.I really liked Dane.He was doing his best with his child.

There’s nothing I love more than a second-chance romance, but a single dad and an adorable, precocious kid are the icing on the cake. However, I should warn you, this one is deceptively evocative. You’ll be reading along, thinking it’s all smooth sailing with calm waters and sunshine, and then BOOM. With a simple line or two this author delivers a shot to your heart and all of the emotions tumble out.

This book was very enjoyable, but that’s not really shocking because I find that to be the case with all of Adriana’s books. Definitely recommend this one!

A second chance romance that does not disappoint. Neely and Dane will have a second chance at love whether they want it or not. Even though it’s been years, Dane is willing to show Neely that he has changed and grown up. But will she let him into her life again, especially with his kid? Will they be able to put their past behind them and give themselves the chance they always deserved? Or when Neely has the chance to leave again will she take it without thinking twice?

With Tumble, Adriana Locke brings us another small town, second-chance romance.

After quitting her job in the big city, Neely Kimber is back home in Dogwood Lane, Tennessee for the first time in 10 years, since she left for college, and a part of that is due to her ex-boyfriend, Dane Madden. When Dane broke up with Neely neither she nor her heart has been the same.

Dane Madden comes with his own problems. When he broke up with Neely he went and did something utterly stupid from which he couldn't come back from and now, 10 years later he is handling his father's business and raising his daughter, Mia.

"Neely isn’t someone I can gamble with. There’s no kissing and forgetting. There’s only wanting more. Needing more. Desiring more. And not being able to have it.”

I loved the story and I loved the characters, especially Mia, who was an absolute sweetheart.
One of the things I love about second-chance romance is how the couple learn about each other all over again and re-discover themselves and with Dane and Neely it was a bit of fumbling, some anger and hurt and some laughs and lots of swoons.

Dane and Neely made a beautiful couple and with Mia in the mix, they were the perfect family. Now, while I did enjoy this story and its characters, I am not crazy about Dane, as I am for the other Locke Heroes, because of the mistake he made after Neely left and then getting frustrated with her when she had a hard time trusting him. Like, of course, you fool! Of course, she is hesitant. That mistake and a bit of Dane's behaviour regarding it was the only issue I had.

Out of the lot, my favourite is the bonding between Mia and Neely and how their relationship developed. I love Adriana for not creating a rift between the two and how Neely never looked at Mia differently because she was the product of her heartbreak.

Being a Locke Reader from Day 1, one thing I've learned through the years is that Adriana keeps her romance real. The characters, the problems — sure, it is a fictional setting but the element of reality is something that I have come to expect and love.
Tumble is a feel-good romance and I can't wait for the next book in this series!

4 Stars!

Being back in Dogwood Lane after she ran off nearly a decade ago, is almost surreal. Nothing has really changed in the Tennessee small town. After only one day back, Neely Kimber bumps into the man who was once her best friend, her first kiss, her first love, and above all her first heartbreak. Dane Madden is still gorgeous. He knows he hurt Neely really bad. But that doesn't stop him from wanting a second chance with her. Still, Neely's plans are simple, relax, recharge and go back to New York City where she might be able to start over. Yet, the more time she spends with her small town friends and with Dane, the more she wants to have all that she lost so long ago. Being in his arms is so right, how could they ever be wrong? A second chance romance, filled with small-town charms, a sexy single dad and an independent heroine who knows what she wants...

I really wanted to love this book, but I couldn’t get over the fact that the H slept with the h’s best friend and even had a kid with her. I hated it.
So, sadly, this book wasn’t for me.

Loved this second chance romance from Adriana Locke. Dane and Neely's story is heartwarming and sweet. It will have you tearing up as well as laughing and smiling. You can't go wrong with a book that hits all the emotions and Tumble is no exception.

I finished this book in two days, glued to the words and the story. It's brilliantly full of heart, soul, and smiles. 5 Stars. I reviewed on Amazon at release.

Tumble was SO good! One of the best reads of 2019 so far. It was just enough swoon, just enough hilarity, just enough hotness. I loved it so much!

This was my first read from ALocke and it certainly won't be my last! I loved the small-town setting for this wonderful second chance romance. I loved the characters (look forward to more from them in future books!) and character growth for Neely (especially her) and Dane. And Mia! Goodness I couldn't help but love that little girl! Tumble was engaging, well-paced, had just the right amount of angst, and fun!

Tumble is an extremely good second chance romance. Keeley thought she had it all, a great school picked out, an amazing boyfriend, what could go wrong? Well everything when Dane lets her go and messes it all up. Now ten years later she’s back home trying to figure her life out and the man she never got over is playing havoc with her emotions.

He’s never gotten over her and now seeing her again opens his eyes to the fact he needs her in his and his daughters life. When she leaves he will have to chase her or let her go. What will he do? Let her go or chase after their second chance?

Just over all loved this one!!

I love a second chance romance and this does not disappoint. . Once i started reading I was done for. I was so in love with so much about Dane and Neely our characters. This is a slow build for Neely and Dane who after some life changing circumstances are tossed into each others life again. Life goes on but do feelings change? Resentment? What about past mistakes? These two have some have some baggage to work through and the you can feel it, you want to reach in and even shake a person or two. You can relate at moments.. I enjoyed so much about this. This has some serious emotion that you need to read and experience. *Arc provided by NetGalley*

I really loved those book. It's like all my favorite troupes rolled into one special little book. It's angsty, second chance, small town, blue collar, single dad, and even a little gymnastics which I love. This story was actually really touching and really makes you reevaluate your choices in life. The characters are all awesome and we'll developed and it was just a really good book that pulls at your heartstrings. I can't wait for more in this series.
