If you're a fan of Katy Evans books this one won't disappoint. Great chemistry between the characters and super hot steamy scenes. An enjoyable quick read.

When the CEO retires, his colleague is assigned to help transition the new successor. With no business experience the new successor must prove himself worthy. A trial run is provided while the colleague reports back to the CEO. All is compromised when love blooms in the workplace.
Harlequin Desire stories move quickly sizzling up the pages with steamy sex scenes. They are set in a world of luxury and drama. This particular story is an office romance between the boss and the colleague. This one had luxury with a side order of drama. The primary focus was on mentoring and training the inexperienced boss.
Overall: These two characters had opposite work ethics. It started with hate then turned into a mutual understanding of friendship. Alex’s character is an all work and no play type of gal, while Kit is an all play with no work experience type of guy. Yet, together they balanced each other out.
Alex’s character was a spitfire in the office. Remove her from the office and she was timid and careless. I struggled with her careless choices in social settings. I also struggled with the way Alex reacted and responded to Kit. She lost her mind in his presence behaving recklessly. While Kit’s character was put together at all times having control of his actions. I liked him, yet I didn’t trust him either.
I really like the way Katy writes her sex scenes. Those scenes are smokin hot. Quite honestly the sex scenes were the best part of the story. The office gossip and project assignment wasn’t all that exciting to read.

Kit and Alexandra are explosive, both in and out of the conference room. I loved them both and loved their story even more. I wanted to punch someone close to them both near the end, but it all worked out perfectly!

Although I love Ms. Evan's books, I think this one was underwhelming because of the publisher. There is a certain pattern that these books follow and I think she was hard pressed to rein in her own words to keep to that pattern.
The hero suddenly fell in love with her, when you would not have thought that from his own words and actions. The heroine was so uptight and proper that she was not very likable. The only time she could relax seemed to be when she was drunk. That really bothered me.
Don't get me wrong, it was a sweet, easy read. Just not a favorite of mine.

Not really my favorite, almost all of the book is in the girls pov!! Some books, not many i don't mind if the author keeps me interested but with this one?! I was dying to know what he thought!! I just don't understand single pov? It's like you're missing half the story?! Anyway this is Kit and Alexandra book, Alexandra is second in command at a high profile dating company, when her boss wants to retire he puts his bratty son in charge but wants Alexandra to spy on kit to make sure he can handle the job! They try to stay away from each other but that doesn't last to long lol it's not a bad story and if you like single pov this books definitely for you! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
