Take a trip to a Mediterranean island with the start of Jennifer Faye’s Greek Island Brides series, Carrying the Greek Tycoon’s Baby.

Lea Romes inherited Infinity Island unexpectedly, but she loves it all the same. It’s a place for love, romance, and weddings—and is in need of repairs and improvements, requiring money Lea does not have. Wealthy Xander Marinakos can help, but he has other ideas for Infinity Island. Still, this does not inhibit the attraction that sparks between the pair—and the complications that ensue.

The romance proves fun as the drama unfolds around Lea and Xander. I enjoyed seeing the pair sorting through the challenges before them, and I think a reader in need of a quick, contemporary romance will, too.

A slow storyline, but completely worth reading.

Jennifer Faye made sure that these characters took their time to fall for each other. While it might have started with a weekend fling, things don't continue as hot & heavy.

Carrying The Greek Tycoon's Baby by Jennifer Faye is the first book in the Greek Island Brides Series. Xander and Lea are contemplating a business relationship but one thing leads to another and lands them in a position they didn't forsee coming. Lea is struggling to maintiain her families island while Xander just wants to buy it. This is a sweet and pleasant read.

A sweet book, an enjoyable read. Not a lot of depth to it, but also not any real complaints about the story itself.

This was a tedious entry in the Greek billionaire romance. Xander has to be the most boring Greek billionaire out there in romance world. He knocks up Lea and then spends the rest of the novel hanging around her destination wedding island trying to ingratiate himself with her or at least figure out what he wants to do. She spends her time just wishing she could figure out a way to keep her island from going bankrupt while refusing Xander’s no-strings offers of help because she just can’t trust him.

I just couldn’t care about either of them or their supposed romance.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

Good story, likable characters. For once, the hero was not a complete a jerk. He admitted his faults and did his best to make amends when he screwed up.

I loved the storyline. The heroine tries to keep her island's wedding destination going, in spite of the hero trying to buy her out. She's hard working and sincere.

One weekend of passion and she finds herself pregnant. He steps up right away and takes responsibility. He doesn't blame her or treat her badly. Sometimes these stories go the other way and I hate that contrived angst.

Nice read!
