I love reading humorous sci fi books. The blurb was fantastic because every person wanted that time to time. But of course not everything goes to the plan. A Life Spectacular was really well written. This was hilarious and really fast paced reading. Thank you for this arc.

I want to thank NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion.

Guy was bored and frustrated with his job, his life, and his overall existence. He was seriously contemplating suicide until he seen a weird light coming from his closet. He thought it was just alcohol induced.
Yet he still was drawn to the light.
His whole life changed thus making him realize that he really needs to be careful on what he wishes for.
The trip through the closet wormhole introduces him to a wide range of characters that he somehow is supposed to know.
They really are familiar with him and he is popular. He is the complete opposite here.
This is a quirky and hilarious book. A must read for all you sci fi lovers.

A Life Spectacular... It's ridiculously funny.
When Guy finds himself in a different body and in a different planet, life as he knows it changes forever. The situations he has to go through range from being a circus member to being kidnapped by pirates... And those aren't even the most weird experiences he encounters.
This is a great book if you want to have a good time, laugh and relax, and think a bit about having a spectacular life.
Thanks Netgally and the publisher for my ARC of this book.

Started off well enough and predictably for this genre, but the pacing and exposition were too slow and ponderous, and the attempted witty turns of phrase didn't work most of the time. Gave up after about half an hour. Needs tightening up and making shorter and pacier to hold this reader's interest.

I'm not typically into "wacky" stories, sci-fi or not. This book was pretty good light read. The primary character was well written and dialog was decent. I also like a happy ending and this fit the bill. Recommended.

Just about everyone has been bored with their life at some point, but what if someone offered you a new life - a new adventure? Guy Leatherman is bored with his life, stuck in a job he hates, and accidentally entered a contest he knew nothing about by wishing one evening into the sky that he could "experience something new." As the old adage goes, be careful for what you wish for.

After stepping into a strange light coming from his closet, Guy wakes up in a different body - and a different planet. The journey to happiness does not always follow a straight line, and for Guy, the journey takes him out of this world.

Krone's book has a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy vibe to it, but not its sense of depth. There is action, humor, conflict, and more. I must admit, the book was a tad hard to slog through because of the writing style, but once finished, and replayed in my mind, it was quite enjoyable.

Thank you NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the opportunity to review this book.

I appreciated having this volume made available for my review. The appeal of this particular book was not evident to me, and if I cannot file a generally positive review I prefer simply to advise the publisher to that effect and file no review at all.
