"I needed to make a change, but that terrified me. What terrified me more, though, was always watching great love stories but never having one."

Wow. I. ABSOLUTELY. LOVED. THIS. BOOK! Everything about Unleashed had me enthralled from the very start. From its engaging characters, to its emotion fueled romance. It had a enemies to lovers feel I could not get enough of. This isn't your typical love story. It's complicated, dark, and hauntingly beautiful. Rutledge and Peyton on two of the most explosive characters I have read. Their chemistry was off the charts. While their passion burned red HOT. No amount of pages was enough of these two characters. I could have read about them for many more. I was not ready to see their story come to a end. L.A. Fiore and Anthony Dwayne paint a suspenseful story, that keeps you guessing to the very end. This is hands down one of my best reads of 2018. I can NOT wait for more books in the Ogg's Point series. There was so many characters I loved meeting in Unleashed. I can definitely think of a few I would love to see more of *cough*Max and Kinsley *cough* or even Coda and Martin. So I am definitely curious to see whats in store next.

"I put my mouth to her ear and whispered , “Mine.” Her hips moved, pressing herself into my hand, her word breathlessly spoken when she replied, “Forever.”

Peyton is one of those heroines you immediately love. I could easily see myself being friends with her in real life. Her passion and kind hearted spirit was the breath of fresh air this story needed. I loved you get as good as you give with her character. She was impulsive, and constantly kept you on your toes. With her sassy mouth and head strong ways. Peyton is just the heroine Rutledge needed to give him a run for his money.

" ‘Hold on’ his text had said. Those words proved to be rather foretelling. Hold on was exactly what I’d be doing, riding the storm that was Rutledge Raines and hoping like hell when he blew out of my life that I’d still be in one piece."

Rutledge had me falling for him hook, line, and sinker. My heart never stood a chance with this complicated hero. I have definitely foind my next book boyfriend. He commanded your attention, while dominating your heart. Every word out of his mouth oozed temptation and sin. Haunted by the demons of his past, Rutledge pulled at my heart strings many times. You couldn't help but admire how passionate, and loving his character was. Even if hw had unique ways of showing it.

"He’d never write for Hallmark, but I couldn’t lie, I preferred his way with words."

*5 STARS*
Well earned for this hot and steamy co-write. I certainly hope to see more from these two authors. They left loads of potential with this book so I will keep my fingers crossed.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

The quaint town of Ogg's Point rests on the rocky coast of Maine. Native Rutledge Raines left home eith no plans of returning, but years later he is drawn back to sell his late grandmother's house. He never imagined the mundane task would drop the annoying but sexy Peyton Morgan into his life. Being home forces him to remember why he left in the first placr because even small towns have secrets lurking in the shadows. When those demons are unleashed, Rut, Peyton and Ogg's Point will never be the same.

I love when a book is co-authored and if flows so seamsly you can not even tell who is writing one point. I have read a ton of L.A Fiore written boks but never a Anthony Dewayne but I did learn these two make amazing writing partners. Your gping to love Rutledge and Peyton. Their cbemistry will have you wondering if your kindles going to catch fire in your hands and their banter is equally amazing. This is a book filled with mysery and intrique and so freaking good. It was so much more than I expected snd will leave you wanting more.

This is the first book I have read by this duo and it will not be the last. This story had everything in it that I love. The main character was all Alpha a$$hole, rude af eff and oh man was he a MAN WHORE and your main female character was so loving, funny, smart, and sassy. There was also suspense that I loved because trying to figure out the hero's secret was something I was looking forward to uncovering. When I did uncover it I was like WTH but hey that is where the story went so I just followed because I could not stop reading until the end. I needed to know what was going to happen to these two and the ending was great.

Rutledge oh Rutledge did I want to shuttle kick and B!@ch slap him all at once. He was such an arse in the begging but it kept me reading because I had to see what was going to happen when he and Peyton met. He was an arse but not as bad as he was in the beginning and Peyton fell hard for him. This story grabbed me from the start and kept me going till late in the night. I will say this some will love this book like I did and some will not because the hero is such an arse but I say give it a go and see where it takes you!

Rutledge is back in the small town of Ogg's Point to sell his grandmother's home. He meets Peyton unexpectedly and she is a firecracker of a woman. Rut was pretty much a player through the book. Peyton was sassy and kept Rut on his toes. Like every small town there are secrets and mysteries. Will this couple work out? Read on to find out.

When I finished this book, I was just absolutely stunned. Another book that has touched my heart. Ever since I met L.A. Fiore with Savage, I fell in love with her work. Her books always manage to worm their way to my heart, and Unleashed is no exception. As for Anthony Dwayne, a very new author to me, this book has just encouraged me to look up his books and devour them. I never know what I’m going to get with L.A. Fiore’s books, but they always leave with a piece of my heart with them. I don’t think there will ever be a book that she (co)writes that will ever disappoint me.

Unleashed is a book that hooks you in from the very beginning. This story touches on some very strong topics, and these authors write it in such a poignant and breath-taking way, so much to the point where you physically want to exist in that book just so that you could hold them tight, support them, and just love them. The amount of emotion in this book is indescribable, it literally pulls you in and plays with your heart.

I absolutely loved Peyton and Rutledge. I loved their coming together, their strength and protectiveness over one another, and I loved the support and love that they showed one another when the other person was vulnerable. This story broke my heart in so many places, seeing these characters experience things no person should ever experience, and not wanting to fix that person, but to just be there for them, to help them through the pain and slow the demons that live inside their heads. Like I said before, the emotion in this novel is outstanding, and after you read this novel, you will not be able to let these two go. Lord knows I’m going through that motion right now.

I also loved the scenery in the novel. Even after reading such an intense scene, its nice to have the image of the cliff and the sea in your mind. Just like the characters, it calms you. You can picture what they are seeing and it brings you a certain sort of peace. I couldn’t help but imagine the beautiful landscapes, the house. I just fell in love with the place. Just as much as I fell in love with the characters, I fell in love with Ogg’s Point as well.

If these authors were to write another novel (which I am very much hoping they would) there would be no hesitation on my behalf to read it. These authors have the power to take you literally where you’ve never been before, and feel sad once the story’s over. It was a true pleasure reading this novel and experiencing not only the character’s journey together, but to witness the truly amazing talent these authors have. To say I loved this book is an understatement. I am living for this book, and no amount of stars will describe how much I love it.

Review:
I just finished this book, and I´m trying to get my thoughts in some kind of order. First of all, the writing is absolutely flawless, it just takes off from the very first sentence – and that prologue really sets the mood for this book. I couldn´t really tell which author wrote what, so this is probably a match made in bookheaven. And I really hope they have plans to write more together, preferably more Ogg´s Point-books.

I really liked Peyton. She was the light, the understanding, the sassy and the funny. In many was the very opposite of Rutledge. In the beginning I didn´t really like him. He seemed to be too much of an asshole and a player, kind of an antihero – but he really grew on me and I ended up loving him and hoping he got his happy ending.

What really made this book for me was the slow build of suspense, drama, friendship, passion and love. The chemistry and connection between the H/h was off the charts, and some of the scenes were so hot I feared my Kindle would catch fire. And it kept me guessing; what happened in the past, and who is making trouble in the present? And most importantly, will the demons or love win in the end?
To me this was a really beautiful story of love and survival, of how everyone is worthy of love, support and happiness. And I loved the ending, especially the epilogue, even though it felt a bit rushed.

Unleashed: An Ogg’s Point Novel by L.A. Fiore and Anthony Dwayne is the story of Peyton Morgan and Rutledge Raines. Peyton is sweet, shy and a heroine you can fall in love with. Peyton has some harsh blows to but handles them differently than Rutledge. Rutledge has some old wounds that has left him somewhat harsh and is a total opposite of of Peyton. But their attractions to each other is something that they can't seem to ignore.
Rutledge is a somewhat hard hero to love immediately I thought. But of course he started to slowly change when he accepted love from Peyton.

Omg! I finished this book earlier this morning, I had stayed up all night reading it because of all the twists and turns that kept happening.

Before you read on I just want to add that there are some trigger warnings in this book. There is talk about Rape.

This was such a beautiful story of two people that come together because Payton drunkly bought a house with an amazing view. Which happens to be Rut’s grandma’s house that he inherited when she passed. The connection that these two have is completely undeniably even when they hadn’t met an just had a conversation on the phone, you can tell they both affected one another. There relationship made me smile, laugh and cry at times. I’m definitely happy they both got there happy ever after. They both deserve it. I don’t know if there is going to be another book in the series but if there is, I would definitely love to see Kinsley’s POV.

One of my favourite quotes is one that Rut said “ I don’t need to switch to fucking decaf! Jesus! “ I laughed so much at that because I have said the exact same thing many times.

4.5 stars for Peaches who found her happy!
A sensitive, romantic and funny tale about an odd couple who met in the picturesque small town of Oggs Point in Maine. I was so enamoured by the beauty described in novel, I've decided to settle down in a beach town in maine myself.
There's a secret in the dilapidated yet beautiful house facing the sea. And a shed on the sprawling acreage, right at the edge of the cliff. A chill runs in the air, somebody's watching.....always watching.
You get shivers, hair stand on end and a pickling fear that you're being stalked!!!
"Make a change. Find something that makes you happy.”
This house was an impulse "drunk-click" buy for Peyton Morgan, who's running from trapped life in Boston and the moment she steps out of the car-Rutledge Raines's life is dumbstruck! They get confrontational, combative, bantering and then teasing. Life becomes interesting and entwined and then something happens that pulls them apart and .........
Go read  the book!!!
Hot sex, dirty talk and christening of every counter, room, truck, space, cause Rutledge is a sex machine. He made the pages "moist" . He's a straight talker, cut to the chase kinda guy. Alpha of the Alphas.
He’d never write for Hallmark , but I couldn’t lie, I preferred his way with words.
Peyton is controlled and intuitive, pensive and loyal. Very compassionate and equally passionate. They both set the pages on fire. Pink heart shaped pages.
There's so much love in the book, so many powerful emotions, such strong bonds of friendship, kinship, camaraderie and belonging, I was constantly awed and perpetually hungry for more.
“I lost my family. You lost yours too. The stories you shared about your grandmother, this place, I wanted it to be a home again.”
“But I realize it isn’t the building that is home. It’s you. You are my home.”
Ahhhhhhhhh, the story just soaks in your soul. I wanted to lust after Rut, love him, marry him and at times strangle him. I couldn't stop reading so that shows how interesting it was.

4 1/2 STARS FOR UNLEASHED!! I enjoyed everything about this book and it kept me flipping pages. The story had all the feels you could ask for. Peyton and Rut have a story to tell you, so sit back and take it in. These two author did a job writing together and I can't wait to read more.

Simply amazing I went into this blind thinking I was going to be reading another parnormal book but I was so wrong!

Have you ever layed eyes on someone and known instantly that they were your forever? Well that's what happened when Peyton and Rut meet.

Rut is bossy, controlling has a dark and sexy as f***k. Peyton is headstrong gorgeous and has a stubborn streak a mile long. But when Peyton and Rut meet it's like they were meant for eachother. Peyton keeps Rut's demons at bay and keeps Rut on his toes. Rut gives Peyton a sense of what being needed feels like and being home. But with every demon comes trouble and it is up to Rut and Peyton to beat them and have their happily ever after.

I really enjoyed this book I laughed through out the book and even cried and I certainly lost sleep because I couldn't put the book down.

Straight up...this book had too much OW sh!t in it. It torpedoed what could have been a 5-Star read for me. The first 5% had us hearing details about the chick he hired to sell his house and her c*ck sucking skills (and goody for us, she shows up halfway through the story to be a bitch as well). Then we get a nasty scene with a different random giving the hero a BJ in a bar bathroom (gag). After that, the book got loads better, and I thought things were looking up. Oh, we still had to hear too many details about how much of a player this guy was (which continues throughout the whole figging book), but the connection between him and Peyton was building nicely. That is, until 35% when he decides to take some random out behind the bar to f-ck her. He doesn't go through with it, but the intent was there, and again I was turned off.

I. JUST. CAN'T. ANYMORE. I am SO over this type of cliché drama in books. I want to like the hero. I want to root for the hero. I want to believe in the connection between the hero and the heroine. When you shove sh!t like this in my face, you make it impossible for me to feel any connection. The book started with me thinking the hero was a nasty asshole, and even though there were glimmers of a decent guy throughout, it wasn't enough to get me past my first (second, and third...) impression(s) of him.

So yea, If you take all the cliché OW stuff out of the equation, the book was decent. Hence why it is getting 3-Stars and not a DNF. The mystery aspect (which actually turned out to be a little anticlimactic), along with the hero's secret (which I figured out very early on). Along with how much I adored Peyton kept me hooked enough to keep turning the pages. I loved the setting. The sex scenes were hot. There were some interesting secondary characters as well (especially Coda).

As I mentioned, I ADORED Peyton. She was an awesome character. Quirky. Sweet. Smart. Rutledge was a mixed bag. He had moments when I really liked him. He had the whole "Babe...do what I say" alpha speak that I LOVE, but I think I am just tired of the "damaged asshole hero that uses OW, talks to them like they are garbage on the bottom of his shoes, and then throws them away like used tissues." If they are good enough to stick your dick into then they deserve at least a smidge of respect...sigh. I wanted to love him. I tired. I really did, but I just never got there. The author's set him up for failure right from the opening of the book.

Last, the ending of this one was SOOO rushed. We don't even find out the hero's secret until 90% in, then all hell broke loose. I legit thought this was going to end on a cliffhanger! That late into a book we should be gearing up for a happily ever after. 90% is WAY too late to be dropping huge secret bombs, not to mention a ton of other sh!t that gave me whiplash. Anyway...I am sure most readers won't be bothered by the OW stuff as much as I was, and I usually love L.A Fiore's writing...so do be sure to read a few more reviews before deciding on whether to give this one a go or not. I am but one opinion in a sea of many (lol).

SIDE NOTE: Oh, and just a funny side note. The hero and heroine go to have sex for the first time and he tells her he is clean (because he doesn't feel like going out to the truck for a condom), and of course, she is all OKIE DOKIE. Nevermind the fact that he was letting some random go down on him in the bar bathroom like a week earlier without any protection. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but oral herpes can be transferred to the genitals via oral sex. So he really didn't know if he was clean or not...sigh.

***4 ‘You’re The Only Place I Want To Be’ Stars***

Ooooohhh Boy.

That was intense, but what a great start to a new series!

I guess I should have figured out that there would be some crazy going on after reading the blurb, but I didn’t expect it to hit from the very beginning and have that low level anxious awareness simmering throughout the entire story. Combine that with the perfect balance of humor and heart, and well written characters...well, this one kept me turning the pages until the very end.

I loved Peyton. She’s sweet and snarky with a golden heart and definitely knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. She comfortable in her own skin, owns everything that she is and makes no apologies for it.

Rut. I loved the man, I did, but ooohhhhweee... He has a lot of demons riding him, and believe me when I say that my heart broke for him and could understand why he was the way he was, but man he definitely tried me at time. He’s all kinds of alpha AF, and when it came to him turning on the charm and smexy ~ the man was lethal ~ but he also took ‘blunt and to the point’ to another level.

While Peyton and Rut’s journey to the HEA doesn’t start off smoothly and they encounter more issues than anyone should have to, I really enjoyed watching as they became more to each other. It was fun and smexy (Lemme tell you...SMEXY!!) and gave me all the feels. What I enjoyed the most was how, even as they evolved, they never lost who they were at their very cores. As for the Sword of Damocles that falls and interrupts their journey, it frustrated me even when I could understand the reason behind it, though I definitely didn’t agree and would have liked a little more grovelling ~ but that’s me ~ I did like where Rut and Peyton ended up when the book was done.

I’m already a #fangirl of one of the authors, so making grabby hands at Unleashed was a no brainer, and after finishing the book, am now a fan of the other author. The writing was seamlessly done and engaging, the pacing good and dual 1st person POV enjoyable. And I could tell that they had a great time getting these words out together even with the heavy issues they addressed in this book. I’m not going to get specific, but the triggers are intense and I think that they both handled them well. As for the secondary characters, this one definitely runs the gamut ~ there are ones I loved and ones I wanted to gut with a spoon ~ but when it came to the ones I loved, Smitty & Coda are at the top of the list. And then there is the town of Ogg’s Point itself, which was a character unto itself. It felt like a small town would with everyone up in everyone else’s business and one you’d visit and fall in love with the unique characters that populate it.

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where this series takes us and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book!

This is the 1st bk from the duo of L.A. Fiore and Anthony Dwayne. This story is a roller coaster ride of emotions- Hot and steamy, mystery and suspense, love and heartbreak, this story has it all. The chemistry between the main characters is literally off the charts intense; the warmth and wit from them is like being around good friends. I could not put this read down. There is enough mystery in the story to keep the reader guessing, and when just when you think you have it all figured out...BAM, you’re hit with a twist/turn in this story. I don't want to give any spoilers or anything away with this story. Just know Peyton and Rutledge are phenomenal main characters and are ones to be on the lookout for. L.A Fiore and Anthony Dwayne did an outstanding job with Unleashed. I can't wait to read what they co-write together next.

My Rating: 4.7 stars *****

L.A. Fiore and Anthony Dwayne have just written a masterpiece. Unleashed is everything. Funny, sexy, sweet, suspenseful, and heartbreaking. ALL IN ONE BOOK. I laughed and cried while I sighed and swooned. Rut and Peyton's love story is hard and rough but real. Each of them with their own secrets and demons, yet each one giving love a chance.

Rut is a domineering asshole, but oh so lovable. Peyton is more of a go with the flow type chick until you piss her off, then she lets her sass out. These two were so perfectly imperfect for each other. The slow and steady beginning of them to the hot and fast relationship they develop was a nice change to see.

This duo had no hiccups that could be seen in this beautiful story. The words and chapters flowed so easily. The writing was flawless, the characters perfectly flawed, and the mix of funny, sweet, mysterious, and hot made this a definite 5 star read!

I went into this story not really knowing what to expect, but I ended up really loving it apart from one thing. I do think that there was a little too much sex in this book if that's even possible! Rut is a bit of a manwhore before Peyton and after he meets her he is just a dirty bad boy, but it did get to the point that I did start skipping through the sex scenes as there is only so many times I wanted to read about him and his great sex techniques. Putting that aside it was a totally great story with a lot plot twists, and even though they were a little bit predictable I still liked the build up and the conformation of my suspicions once things were revealed. I really liked Peyton's character, she is a really strong heroine. Rut's character is a little over controlling for me at times but I get where he was coming from most of the time so I gave him a thumbs up for being a little overprotective hero. Together as a couple they worked really well.
The story was well written and was easy to read, it kept me interested and excited to see what would happen next. I look forward to reading more from these two authors in the future.
4.5 Stars!

***ARC REVIEW***

5 Stars🌟!!

This is my 1st book by L.A Fiore and also Anthony Dwayne. It was amazing!! Rutledge is the epitome of an Alpha Male! 🔥🔥

I fell in love with Peyton and Rutledge but most importantly Rutledge. Everything fell into place in the beginning of the book, it was all too good and the anticipation of the what if.. had me at the edge of my seat. The banter between the two and wittiness makes them such a great couple. Peyton was so understanding and patient with the whole situation with Rutledge deep inside she knew his demons were a lot stronger than she anticipated. Those demons will come to light and test their relationship.

If your into a dominate male with charm this book will not disappoint.

A beautiful story written with so much passion! These two authors put my heart through the ringer reading this book. Honestly so sexy and heart breaking at the same time....two people that couldn't be more right for each other! Rut was battling demons and such horrors. Peyton was filled with so much love and a strong sense of building a family. Til the very end my stomach was in knots! Every line ,every chapter had me just want to keep going to know more and more.

This was definitely an emotional train ride that will leave you wanting more.

"Even whatever haunted him had helped forge the man he was, a man I thought was perfectly imperfect."

I was excited to get at taste of the writing duo of L.A. Fiore and Anthony Dwayne. I've been a longtime fan of Fiore, but this is my first taste of Dwayne. Honestly, now that I've finished reading it, I still have no idea who contributed what. Their collaboration was seamless.

When I first met Peyton I underestimated her strength. When life threw her a curve ball she flipped her sassy switch on and made me proud. And once the story evolved I realized that her intuition and thoughtful responses where exactly what was needed to sooth the beast.

Rutledge is an alpha asshole who purposely pushes Peyton's buttons. He's been dealing with demons for so long that he rarely bothers to use the manners his grandma taught him. Can I just say, I adore him? He's bossy and foul-mouthed and arrogant and sexy and so damn broken. He can have any woman he wants, but he doesn't need more than a quick release, and then it's bye-bye baby. He doesn't do relationships and he doesn't apologize.

Their first meeting in person was memorable. They were both lust-struck. But that didn't stop the barbs from flying. "My guess, she might be a little peeved, but that was okay with me, because I liked a pissed off Peyton." I liked it too. They were gasoline on a fire and I was tempted to grab a pot holder for my Kindle, just in case, worried the heat would be too much for me.

What I loved most about this story is when Rutledge talks. It cracked me up when Peyton told him, "Seriously, Hallmark is missing out." He's got his own caveman lingo that gets his point across with as few words and many fucks as possible. I couldn't stop smiling and swooning over him...sigh. ❤️

As Fiore is famous for, there is no absence of suspense and surprises. I always enjoy trying to figure out what's coming, I'm afraid to blink or I might miss something. There are some amazing support characters that I'm excited to see again in future Ogg's Point stories. I'm worried that Rut is so damned good that anyone else will pale by comparison. This dynamic duo has their work cut out for them. The line forms here...
