Honestly, this book was better than I thought. It was a little plodding at points but I finished it feeling a little bit sad it was over!

I just recently discovered this author... love her characters and writing style... funny and romantic and was looking forward to learning about Noah from reading about him in Dane’s story.... there was just too much angst/moodiness and not enough romance....and the revel at the end was a little ridiculous.... although am looking forward to Annabelle’s story....

Professional tennis star and everybody's darling, Maren Murphy is going home. Unfortunately, going home is the last thing she wants to do. She doesn't know what's worse, being named the executor of her grandfather's estate, or having to deal with her grandfather's business partner, Noah Callahan. That devil's spawn may have broken her young, tender heart, but this time it's advantage Murphy. If anyone's calling game, set, and match, it'll be Maren.
I’m not crazy about second-chance romances but I decided to give it a try. This was a slow-burn read, which is ok. Everything was good until I got the details on what he actually did to her, utter humiliation included (about all I can say without a spoiler). I stopped at that point. IMO unforgivable. DNF.

I hate cheating and think Maren deserved better than Noah. Somehow I still enjoyed this book a lot. I have no idea how the author managed that.

This is the story of Maren and Noah. Years ago Noah was a bad boy with a reputation. He broke Maren's heart and she went away. Now Maren is back to take care of her grandfather's will but she is determined to not let Noah get close to her again. These two were explosive with their chemistry. A great read and second chance romance.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

I loved this book. It gave me serious Wimbledon movie vibes which is actually one of my favourite romance films. I love sports romance books despite the fact I am one of the least sporty people I know. Because of that, I wasn't able to relate to Maren's crazy tennis skills. I was however, able to relate to her liking Noah.

Hate to love is one of my favourite romance tropes, especially when the hate is one-sided. I find it so entertaining when one of the character's is trying to prove themselves to the other. This was evident in Tiebreaker and is definitely a reason I enjoyed it so much.

I really appreciated the family dynamic within Tiebreaker. Despite being a tennis star, Maren does not have a perfect relationship with her family. As we got to know the character's more I was able to understand why. I really liked Maren's sister and am excited to read her book, especially as her backstory was revealed in Tiebreaker.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a fun romance with a bit of hate to love thrown in!

Loved, loved, loved this book. The chemistry between Maren and Noah was awesome. I hated that they missed out on so many years together, but in was worth it in the end. Can't wait to read another one of P. Dangelico's books. Would highly recommend this book.

Tiebreaker by P. Dangelico was a second chance romance that was slow burning, steamy and angsty. Maren Murphy and Noah Callahan were once in love, but one choice changed everything and drove Maren away for ten years. Now she is back to handle her grandfather’s estate and has to face the one man that devastated her.

Maren and Noah were friends turned lovers when they were younger. They were happy and in love. Then one choice by Noah changes everything. Without trying to give too much away, nothing justifies what our hero, Noah did, but for me stories are just that and are to be enjoyed and experienced, which I did. Now ten years later they are face-to-face again. Noah knows she is the only woman for him, but Maren is not ready to forgive or forget, as it should be.

Noah, in the present, was a strong, determined and caring man. The ten years apart made him take a hard look at himself and what he wanted to be. Maren was beyond hurt by Noah and stood strong in not believing in him. He had to prove to her he was a different man. This was their story and it was emotional, steamy and a slow build-up second chance romance.

I loved the first book. Though it felt a little long, I really enjoyed the characters and their story. This one not as much. This book was more angsty. Not that that is a bad thing, just very different from the fist book. I am looking forward to Bebe's story. I think that one should be funny.

Another great slow burn by P. Dangelico......I swear she is the queen of the slow burn!!

Maren is having a bad day. A professional tennis player.....loses her match, breaks her wrist, and learns of the death of her dear grandfather. She is forced to return home from London to deal with his estate.

And her old friend Noah is there waiting for her while she does her best to avoid him. But seriously, they grew up as young kids and became best friends. The kind of best friend who turns into something else, but then it gets demolished by misunderstanding and stupid actions.

Apparently her grandfather knew about second chances because he had Noah involved with his business and estate affairs, giving them no choice but to deal with each other.

So, I highly recommend this second chance romance.....it's not too angsty and just a really good story! Read it!!

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet, sexy romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

What you get here is a former childhood friends to eventual high school sweethearts that transitions into a second chance romance featuring a sassy, feisty, tennis star pro heroine, who had her heart ripped out and stomped on by the hero ten years earlier. Told in both perspectives using present and past flashbacks, it is very heavy on one sided resentment, remorse, and loads upon loads of relationship angst.

If romantic read content featuring a main couple who wind up with other people on and off isn’t your thing, chances are this storyline will be a dealbreaker with you. Just walk away now and no one will get hurt. Know before going into it, there is a vivid flashback of soul crushing, hurtful, demeaning words and cheating that can never be taken back. It’s chalked up to being caused by a different kind of heartache, and, frankly, in my opinion, being a misguided, immature, teenage knucklehead.

Maren was made to look like a sweet, shy, lovesick doormat during her earlier years of friendship with Noah. You know what they say, “Be careful what you wish for.” When Noah finally came a knocking, Maren mistakenly thought she finally had her chance to be with her soulmate. Circumstances send Noah off the rails though, and he’s been remorseful about his poor, misguided decision for years. His big mistake was thinking he knew best. It will be up to you to decide if you think he’s punished himself enough and deserves a second chance. I was surprised by what he did over the past seven years, and, even moreso, by what he wasn’t doing.

I delved into this mainly to see a strong, sassy heroine rake a cheating ex over the coals. Yeah, I’m a little sorry I’m not sorry about that. She held her head high and guarded her heart fiercely for quite some time. She did cut Noah down to size with off hand, cutting remarks and tried to keep her distance, which affected him even more. Noah was on and off accepting of never earning Maren’s forgiveness, yet, at the same time, determined to slowly wait her out. Ultimately, she melted like a marshmallow, folks.

As always, this author’s writing flows extremely well, and I stayed fully engaged, even when I was madder than a wet hen. I’m looking forward to seeing Maren’s even feister sister find love with the local hot cop. Unfortunately, she’s going to be the big knucklehead in that love story, as she’s got her sights on the wrong man.

P. Dangelico does it again! If you looked up the elements of the perfect romance novel, this book would fulfill every single one. Dangelico takes the second chance trope and develops it into something more meaningful and complex. The main characters in this novel are real, complicated, and flawed in the most honest and vulnerable way. The conflict and essential themes in the novel are well written, properly developed, and excellently paced. Tiebreaker is a perfect blend of serious moments and laugh out loud incidents.

A slow burning second chance romance is usually my cup of tea but I wasn't keen on the storyline for this one. The fact that *spoiler* he openly cheated on her to get her to leave him and sort of tries to make out like its her fault annoyed the crap out of me, and then she readily accepts it and forgives him annoyed me even more!
Up to about half way through I did really enjoy this book but I just couldn't get over what he had done enough to enjoy the end.

There is a thin line between love and hate. Maren tried to keep her distance from Noah when she returns home to settle her grandfather’s estate. That in itself proves how hard life is since Noah was her grandfather’s business partner. He was her childhood best friend, lover, and the man that drove her away from her small Oklahoma town. Can some betrayals be forgotten or will she feel the trust she once had can never be rebuilt? Taking time to find out what she really wants and take a much needed break from tennis, she finds life is still focused on sealing the fate she once ran away from.

4.5stars
A heartbreaking second-chance love story. This is such an emotionally, a heartbreaking love story between Meren successful tennis player and Noha her former boyfriend but still love of her life. After injury and finding that her grandfather passed away Maren comes in her home town where she meets with all the ghost of her past. Because she wants to respect her grandfather last will and has a time she stays and with that big changes in her life start. I loved the story it was funny, hot, heartbreaking interesting and such page turner. Loved both Maren and Noah they had both great developed personalities. Loved the style of writing and that page after page we peel off and see what had happened in the past and had led us to the present. Great and amazing read And I cannot wait to see what happens with a sheriff and Maren's sister.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

I have enjoyed every one of P. Dangelico’s books but I really struggled to get through this one. I gave up about halfway through, which is so disappointing to me!! Maybe I’ll pick it up again sometime, but I didn’t care for either of the MC’s so I couldn’t get invested.

It took me a couple of days to decide what I wanted to say about this book. I will say the first 70% I liked. It was different, but still similar. It has the friends to lovers to ex's flow that many stories I prefer do. It has the heartbreak of childhood added on in. I loved the glimpses of Noah and Maren when they were younger and through their teen years.

What I didn't like, and what turned this review from a 4 star to a 1 star, was how Noah ended things with Maren when they were younger. I'm not going to put a spoiler in my review because I feel you need to know this. For many this is is make it or break it thing in a book.

He ends things with the girl he supposedly loves with all of his heart, by cheating on her in public and then screaming horrible things at her to get her to leave. Even when this is revealed, I continued reading. Part of me wanted to give Noah (and the author) the benefit of the doubt. I kept waiting for it to come out that he didn't actually cheat on her. That it was all a scene to make her believe he cheated so he could get what he wanted in the end. I would still have huge issues with what he said to her afterwards, but at least I could respect him. Screwing a girl under the crowded bleachers and then sharing the moment with everyone in attendance? Nope.

Honestly, Maren needed to stand up for herself and demand more than the lame excuse she got from Noah.

I had previously gotten an ARC from this author..Wrecking ball and I enjoyed, then I requested the last one didn't get but still read (I don't always have to get an ARC) but I am one that will be honest whether it is gifted or not and to say that I am so oooooo disappointed in this book what be an understatement, I didn't dislike I hated, hated there is no reason for cheating and in the callous way that he did it, he humiliated her and it was unforgivable and I do not know how this could be considered a love story I had to stop reading because he could not be redeemed in my eyes. If you condone cheating than read it, but he'll if I will.

These two childhood friends have a lot of time and mending to make up on. Once you get why you totally understand Noah more. Maren is amazing. I love how she stands up for herself. Noah is sweet heart and you can't fault him for much. You have to meet them. I love Tiebreaker. Go one click this one.
