The Nashville Bet by Shana Gray a five-star read you would be willing to lose the house on. This is the third novel in the Girls weekend away books, but they can be read as stand-alone, they each tell the story of a different friend. This time it’s the turn of numerical wonder Ava Trent, and there were so many thrilling moments in this read. I loved the mentions to the music, I didn’t think I was a huge fan of country music, but the more I read the more I was like oohhh I love that band/singer, and that song is one of my favourites, I clearly like it more than I realised and I was so glad that this read brought that out of me, making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and then there were the characters they just made me much warmer. This author is fast becoming one for me to watch and I can’t wait for the next instalment in the series, bring on Monaco.

Maybe it's because I hadn't read the other books in this series, but I had a really hard time getting into and enjoying this story. It's got a decent plot, plausible characters, and a nice setting, but it was just okay. That such a romance, a real romance rather than just a one-weekend-stand, would come out of the scenes presented in hardly believable.

The Nashville Bet by Shana Grey is Book 3 of the Girls Weekend Away series. While this book is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone. Being the first in the series I have read, I had no issues following along.

This was an enjoyable read that was fast and fun, is a instalove romance with the right amount of heat and chemistry between Ava and Chase. It was so smooth in the delivery that before I knew it I had inhaled it and the book was done. I was so not ready for that...why Ms. Grey, why? :p

Thank you for giving us wonderful storyline that centers around Nashville and the CMA...such fun! I totally loved this book!

Please note that an ARC was generously provided in exchange for an honest review of which this is both honest and completely voluntary.

The latest in this series is an enjoyable read. This time the girls have headed off to the CMAs in Nashville.

Ava is a romantic, looking for her happy ever after. She doesn't expect to meet him in Nashville, and they both have lives that will keep them apart. She has been hurt by a failed long distance romance before, but will this put her off taking a chance this time?

Looking forward to the next book!

This is the third book in this series, it's Ava and Chase book, and I think this book was my favorite out of all of them! It's a little too insta love but I still liked it!! Chase is an up and coming country music star! Ava is in town with her tribe to see the CMA's at a little country bar 🍸doing the line dance she slams into none other than Chase! They're kind of inseparable from there! I loved seeing Nashville through the author! That was very entertaining! I definitely recommend reading the whole series but definitely this book! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. What a great book!! Fun, and cute and endearing. Yes there are sex scenes, but the people are just nice. A nice breath of fresh air. There is definite chemistry between Ava and Chase. It happens fast, and furious. I laughed, and wanted them to be happy. She has great friends! We should all be so lucky. I think very romance reader should give this a read! A 4.5 star rating from me. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

So this may be a case of, it's me, not the book. I just couldn't connect with Ava. She was way too Disney princess for me. And for her age it just felt really immature. And because I didn't care for Ava, I didn't get invested in the romance. So this one ended up not being a winner for me.

This is an enjoyable romance that is layered with the culture of Nashville and country music - and, what could be better than it taking place during the CMA Fest? Ava has scored free tickets for her and her friends, but when she collects them from Chase, an up an coming country music star, they are both smitten. What follows is an engaging tale that has them struggling with their budding romance and all the logistical challenges to it continuing. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book.
