Audrey and Caleb's story. She is an equine vet and he is a horse rancher. Obviously a good match. Both have abandon issues, that must be overcome, and are dealing with a strange case of animals being poisoned and being targeted to place the blame on her. A good story and mystery and romance, and overall I really enjoyed this one. The end part though was a little frustrating, with him finally coming to her and her not responding. Both fighting their demons, and the book does give them closure, but still frustrating. Still, I would highly recommend this book and author, as I have enjoyed a lot of her work. Fun read.

MY FAVORITE COWBOY by Donna Grant is a wonderful story. Audrey a veterinarian and Caleb a cowboy join forces to find out who's poisoning the horses. They discover that someone is trying to ruin Audrey's reputation. With their friends and family they find the guilty party. Along the way they shed their baggage and find love. Lots of drama in this story!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Yet another great book by Donna Grant 😀. I can't wait to read the next one.

My Favorite Cowboy, is the end of this series. All wrapped up with a bow in the ending. It wasn't my favorite of the three but I'd read it again. Most of the book was focused on Audrey. Her trying to find out what happened to some horses and then clearing her name. Caleb and Audrey seemed to be an afterthought. More why they can't be in a relationship with anyone, let alone each other.

Gripping from the first page. I was already in love with the Harpers, but throw in Audrey and Maddie and it just adds more to love.

The suspense starts from the get go! Add in the attraction between Caleb and Audrey and it was an amazing read!

Horses and danger, family drama and sexual tension. Yeap, great read!

Loved this book! No one creates a cowboy tale like this author, capturing all the strength, perseverance, and drive possessed by successful cowboys, while also capturing the insecurities and foibles that make them interesting to read about and make me care about their story.

Caleb is a cowboy that, beyond a night's entertainment, has no use for women, as he doesn't think he can trust them. Audrey is an accomplished equine veterinarian who is called in by a friend to see to some sick horses at his auction house. While there, Caleb shows up and offers his, and his siblings' assistance. Caleb and Audrey are immediately smitten with each other, however, they are too preoccupied to act on it. Then, before long, Audrey is fighting for everything she values.

This is an engaging contemporary romance with a bit of mystery. This one is a must read. The author is on my must read authors' list, and, if you enjoy the genre, should probably be on yours as well.
