We just read this book together as a family with my six year old son and three year old daughter. They both enjoyed it and loved guessing the missing opposite word on each page. The text rhymes and compares cats by highlighting opposites. Each page leaves off the last word so you can fill in the missing descriptor. I found the illustrations of the cats to be kind of silly but my kids liked them. This was a great picture book to read with my kindergartner because he could really read most of it on his own. The words used generally weren’t too difficult and the amount of text on each page was just right.

Simple and colourful. I am not sure that this will become a firm favourite in my nursery but the children who like cats enjoyed the pictures especially.
