#DearWife is a story of twists and turns. Just when I thought I knew who was who and what was going on, I was wrong.
Once I got into the book, I didn't want to put it down. Then a twist.... I didn't see coming. The book will keep you guessing. Great job Kimberly Belle.
Thanks to #NetGalley for letting me read this.

This heart stopping thriller, Dear Wife by Kimberly Belle, had me gasping and kept my heart pounding. Beth is desperate, she plans and connives to get away from her husband. She creates a new image, a new name and carefully prepares for any chance he could find her. This book is layered and layered with suspicion and mistrust, I could not put this down. It is an amazing story on the run, loved it and highly recommend. Thank you #NetGalley #ParkRow #DearWife #KimberlyBelle

I received this advanced readers copy early from netgalley in exchange for a honest review.
This is my first book by Kimberly Belle and all I can say is wow! Definitely kept me turning the page! I will say what happened was not what it seemed! I had it all wrong! You have got to read this book, coming soon to a bookstore near you. Well June 25th so not soon enough.
Happy Reading.!!!

Another nail-biter from Ms. Belle!
I had a hard time putting this one down. The book offers us a few POVs: "Beth" (not her real name we learn practically right away) who is on the run from someone, Jeffrey whose realtor wife (also read: the breadwinner) Sabine is missing... leaving Jeffrey the prime suspect, and Marcus the police officer tasked to find out what happened to Sabine.
Each of these people have their own issues/baggage and when the three finally intersect, it's quite a fast-paced, wild ride!
I thought this was another fabulous book by one of my favorite authors.

4.5*
Wowza! That was one finely-crafted, twisty tale!
Beth Murphy needs to disappear! Leaving an abusive relationship behind. One thing she knows for certain…if he finds her, he will kill her. How far does she need to go before she’s safe? How deeply under cover can she hide? And will it ever be enough?
A flurry of moving parts taking place. Her husband proclaiming his innocence. Her sister pointing fingers. The detective in charge turning over every rock!
This is the second book by Kimberly Belle I’ve read, With “Three Days Missing” being my first. But as much as I enjoyed that read, this book ramps up the thriller scale to a whole new level!
Fabulous job, Ms. Belle! You managed to capture all the emotions in every character perfectly! I felt the fear, anger and frustration in all of them.
The tale flowed effortlessly from multiple POVs and I quickly finished in just a few sittings. I was looking for the perfect distraction from my every day, and this fit the bill perfectly!
This book will definitely be a top thriller for 2019! Highly recommend! Don’t miss out!
I still have this author’s previous book The Marriage Lie on my shelf, I need to bump that one up quickly!
A fabulous buddy read with Susanne that we both loved!❤️
Thank you to NetGalley, Harlequin- Trade Publishing and Kimberley Belle for an ARC to read and review.

I received a free e-copy of Dear Wife by Kimberly Belle from NetGalley for my honest review.
Wow, what a twisted and suspenseful read.
Beth is a battered wife who has been planning her escape from her husband and marriage of ten years. She knows she needs to get out before he kills her. Her husband, however, is clever and merciless. A clever game of cat and mouse but who will win? An intense read you won't be able to put down.

This book hooked me from page 1. The author used 3 different POV’s to keep the story going and the reader engaged. There were lots of twists and turns as you tried to piece the story together. Two women are missing and will they be found? This book keeps the tension high as you try to figure out who is truly evil. Another winner from this talented author!

Jeffrey returns home from a work trip to find his wife Sabine is missing. The only evidence the police find is her abandoned car.
As the police investigate, the case becomes a tangled web of lies, violence and seduction.
“Beth” is on the run and has been planning for this new beginning for over a year. Trying to throw her violent husband off her scent.
Great read very suspenseful. Would recommend, I tore through the pages of this suspenseful psychological thriller
Thank you Netgalley.com, Kimberly Belle & Harlequin Enterprises Limited

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.
It started slow but the ending was unexpected and surprising. I enjoyed it.

Detective Durand was assigned this missing persons case leading him to first question Sabine’s husband. During his investigation he uncovers some shockingly good secrets about the relationship between Sabine and Jeffrey.
One woman’s fight for survival prepared her to defend herself while building a new life for herself.
Characters:
Jeffrey Hardison the husband
Beth Murphy the missing person
Sabine Hardison Jeffrey’s wife
Ingrid Sabine’s twin sister
Detective Marcus Durand the officer looking for the missing person
Three points of view from Beth, Jeffrey, and Marcus.
Overall:
Once you get a closer look into the dynamics of the marriage you find those nifty little crevices of insecurities and doubts.
I thought it was thought provoking. The lies were easy to detect early on. The big question was determining who was doing the lying and why?
Although, I began to lose interest in Beth’s character. The people she came in contact with were not all that interesting. Sabine, Trevor and Jeffrey had a more colorful life.
After the tricky twisty turns were revealed I was pleasantly surprised with the unexpected turn of events. Quite a clever revelation. Yet, I was still disappointed with the execution. Beth’s character didn’t hold my interest quite the same way as some of the other characters.

I loved this book! Even though I kind of guessed the ending halfway through, it still kept me turning the pages until the very end! Highly recommend to anyone who loves the same types of books as I do -- suspense, crime, or women's fiction. I love the strong female lead and the way it keeps you guessing.

While I enjoyed this book, it wasn’t the fast-paced kind I normally read. Instead, it felt more like a slow burn; getting you hooked and telling you just enough to make you keep reading. I never felt like the main character wasn’t in all that much danger, but did want to know what was going on and learn the rest of her back story. Overall, a decent thriller that I recommend.

I'm 50 books into 2019 and Dear Wife is an absolute favorite! Kimberly Belle hits it out of the park in this novel of suspense and thrill that is masterfully and expertly told from several points of view. Beth Murphy is on the run. Sabine Hardison is missing. Is there a connection?
From the guilty looking husband to the Detective determined to fund out I put my "go away! I'm reading" sign up for this one. I read it in 2 sittings, only because I couldn't pry my eyelids open any longer at the first sitting.
I have read all of Belle's books and this is truly her best work yet. I'm a big fan and bring me anything she writes because she's tops! Freaking Fantastic!! 5 stars shining bright and lighting up the universe.

I tore through this book because it's fast-paced and well written. This is a psychological thriller that has shades of Gone Girl thrown in (lots of books try but this one really did remind me SO MUCH of Gone Girl). The descriptions of the gritty, sweaty, Southern climate are so spot on along with the characterizations of the characters that I'm glad that I haven't taken a shower yet because to be honest, I feel kind of icky now that I'm done. (But icky in the way that a good psychological thriller makes you feel icky.) There's some foreshadowing in the plot that I kind of caught onto, but it didn't take anything away from the climax at all.. I'd recommend. Also, this one would make a good limited series on Netflix, or HBO or somewhere. 4 stars.

Imagine running for your life. How will you get away? Will you have to look over your shoulder for the rest of your life? Those are the questions the main character in Dear Wife must consider. This is a book full of suspense. It's definitely a thriller. I enjoyed this and did NOT want to put it down. I highly recommend!

The first half of the book was fantastic. Wonderful character development, nice sense of mystery as to who each of the women was referring to, etc. The end became a little more problematic - the climax was anti climactic, the reveal about Sabine was as well, and the sudden loss of the unreliable narrators was jarring (slight spoiler ahead but compare Beth’s veiled discussions of her plans to suddenly nonchalantly saying yes I stole the churches money.)

Wow! This story had my attention from the first page. I will say there is a trigger for some people in here: abuse, both physical and mental. I finished this story in 2 days! I just had to know what happened to Sabine. There were so many aspects of her storyline to make you wonder who was going to be blamed for her disappearance. Her husband was such a jerk that you can’t help but blame him. I don’t want to say too much so I don’t give away the ending or any spoilers. Once I got to 75% I stayed up late to finish it. While I started to think of the twist as it was happening it was still an enjoyable read to me!

Beautiful Sabine, a real estate agent, has failed to come back from a listing appointment, and her husband Jeffrey is, of course, suspect number one. Meanwhile, we get the story of Beth, who is on the run from her abusive husband. She goes to great lengths to throw him off the trail, but knows he'll find her. And some of the narration is from Marcus, the police detective investigating Sabine's disappearance.
The plot: fast paced and engaging.
The characters: pretty cookie-cutter and shallowly drawn. No real connections forged with any of them.
The twist: Unfortunately the twist was so similar to the book I was concurrently listening to on audio that I started to get them confused. I won't say what the device used is, because it's definitely a spoiler, but I've seen it so many times lately that I'm starting to expect some version of it from every thriller I read.
A fun read, but not a standout in this genre in any way.

5/5 Star Review I was given this ARC on netgalley for a honest review...
Dear Wife is a suspenseful and twisty read, about a woman on the run and a woman gone missing... One of them is reported missing, while the other becomes hunted by her abuser.
Beth Murphy is on the run... For nearly a year Beth has been planning her escape. A ordinary day for most, becomes a new beginning for Beth, one with a new look, a new name, a new city. Beth has planned this day down to a T... If Beth makes the smallest slip her violent husband will find her..
Sabine Hardison is missing... Her husband Jeffery returns home from work, to find her gone, wherever she is she has taken nothing with her. Her abandon car is the only evidence that the police have, that all point to foul play. The stuff that is dug up about Sabine's careful planning for the future, show signs of a troubled marriage.
The detective on the case will stop at nothing to find out what happened and bring this missing woman home.
This book was very well written, it had be turning the pages so fast, I couldn't believe what I was reading, I had to know was Sabine the woman who changed her name, and left so many trials to show that she was alive....
Marcus tries his best to target Jeffery for Sabine being missing, he knows that Jeffery has abused Sabine in the past, and their life was anything but normal. He also has Ingrid who is Sabines twin sister breathing down his neck. Ingrid tells Marcus the detective on the case of her missing sister, so much about Sabine and Jeffery's lives..
Kimberely Belle has knocked this one out the park, she has brought us such an amazing page turner.

Dang!
This book was a quick but engaging read. What a dang twisty turner of a read.
A local woman goes missing. A woman is on the run. Three points of view tell their sides of the story after Sabine goes missing: Jeffrey - the husband of Sabine who is missing, Marcus - the cop assigned to the case and Beth - who has escaped an abusive relationship and is on the run.
From the first until the last page of this novel my mind was spinning and the pages were flying by. If you're looking for an engrossing page-turner this is it!
