This was my first Kimberly Belle Book, and while I predicted the whole plot, I still really enjoyed the book. It was insanely addictive, and I think I devoured it so quickly because I wanted to be proven wrong. Belle wrote a great book, and I really loved the alternating chapters/characters. This is one of those books that really can be classified as unputdownable. I've been in a Thriller funk, and this one was exactly what I needed to be pulled out of it.
I liked Belles character development, and the dark and creepy way that she writes them. I will say if you take any issue with Domestic Violence, this book may be hard for you to read, and she does not write about it lightly. It does get pretty detailed. I am really impressed, and now I need to read the other Belle novels that I have sitting on my bookcase!

I loved this book. It was easy to get caught up in the characters from the very beginning. It's a story of gut wrenching survival and the lengths someone will go to, to survive. It will leave you guessing until the very end
.

This was not your typical whodunit! Just when you think you have it figured out, there are so many twists and turns that you will be spinning. What are the stories behind Beth and Sabine? Are they connected? Sign in and savor this book. Many thanks to Park Row and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

This books tells two parallel stories of two women in abusive relationships- one is on the run from her husband, and the other one is missing and an investigation is underway. Beth is trying to throw her husband off her trail by setting up fake accounts, moving from town to town. She is terrified of him. The missing women from her same town is a successful real estate agent, and everyone is starting to suspect the husband of foul play. Two stories that are very similar, but also very different. You are wondering for the first half of the book if they are describing the same person in both stories. A really good read, would definitely read more from this author. Interesting twists and turns throughout the two stories, and how they both come together in the end.

Another thrilling and twisty ride from Kimberly Belle. She's quickly becoming one of my favorite thriller writers! The quick pace had invested in Beth's story and hoping she could stay hidden and what the heck happened to Sabine? Sabine is missing, taking nothing. Where could she have gone and why? Beth is on the run, will her trail trick them? I was racing through this book to put together what was going on! The twist was perfect, I wouldn't have guessed it!
Thank you to Netgalley & The publisher for my copy in exchange for an honest review.

Although I have read my fair share of mysteries and thrillers, the plot was unlike any other and I kept guessing until the very end. I loved how the two women's stories are thoroughly seen as parallels until the unexpected moment of intersection. I run ride until the very last page.

LOVED this book. What a fun ride. This story kept me guessing until the end. Once again this author has written a fantastic story.

Dear Wife is a part thriller part domestic fiction, that will draw you in from the first page. Jeffrey comes home from a business trip and his wife Sabine isn’t home yet. She told him she had a home to show and wouldn’t be back until 9 that evening. Things haven’t been great in their marriage and Jeffrey wants to change their relationship. When Sabine doesn’t come home and with her twin sister nagging him that something is very wrong, they call the police and report her missing.
Marcus, local police, responds to the 911 call and immediately makes you think that he suspects the husband. It doesn’t help that Sabine’s sister also believes Jeffrey did something to her.
“Beth” is on the run from an abusive husband. She has been planning her getaway for the last 10 months. She knows that if her husband catches up to her he will kill her this time. He told her she could never leave him. He is always sorry after he beats her and although she believed that in the past, she knows now that he will never stop.
All of these characters are keeping secrets and at some point I did put it all together but it took longer than usual. Told through three POV’s, gripping thriller with lots of twists and turns is hard to put down and very entertaining. I highly recommend.

“If my husband doesn’t report me missing, am I really gone?”
Snap. Crackle. Pop, kids! This book melts in your mouth and in your hands. Yes, it’s that good. Wow. Well, Ok. Dear Wife is a WTF, did that really just happen, SMFH nightmare!
It’s a read that makes you look at your, “better half” with a slanted eye and perhaps, you’ll find yourself sleeping with one eye open, as well. Hands down, Dear Wife is a must read for 2019. It’s gives you chills and thrills. 5 plus stars for this domestic noir❤️

Dear Wife is an exciting suspenseful novel about a woman, Beth, who is on the run from a physically abusive husband. She has planned carefully for over a year. She simply cannot let herself be found by her husband. If she does, she'll be dead for sure. Miles away, Sabine Hardison is missing. The number one suspect is Sabine's husband, Joseph. Especially when they find out that Sabine has been having an affair with a married doctor, and that they have both planned to leave their current marriages to be together. Marcus, the police investigator in charge, will stop at nothing to uncover all the lies to find Sabine..
There are some great twists, but I did see this major one coming. Still loved the book.
I received an Advance Review Copy of this book. All Opinions are my Own.

4.25 Stars* (rounded down)
Just call this Creepy and Cray-Cray and Call it a Day!
Marriage: It’s not that bad (Really!).. at least not according to Jeffrey. Ask his wife Sabine and you might get a different answer. The problem of course, is that you can’t ask Sabine. She’s missing and well, you know how it works, once Jeffrey discovers it and reports his wife missing, his sister-in-law Ingrid and the police suspect Jeffrey of murder. After all, he and Sabine had a few tense moments and well, it’s always the husband, right?
If only it were that easy to solve! Baah!!
This is the kind of read you tear through in less than a day. I love those! Admittedly, I had a few guesses early on and some were very close to being right on (I might even have danced a little jig over that (or my version of one, lol)!
“Dear Wife” by Kimberly Belle is a wild one my friends. Tension filled, taut and suspenseful - this is a crazy good or well, creepy good thriller that is not to be missed!
This was another great read with Kaceey! Thank you for sharing this with me Kace!

A book I could not put down! Do whatever you have to do to find time to read this book from cover to cover! Great writing! Excellent characters! All is not how it seems!

This is such a hard book to give feedback or reviews on, as I don't want to spoil the delicious fun for anyone who hasn't read it yet! I will say, I devour thrillers and mysteries at an astonishing rate. Often, I feel mildly surprised, but generally I have a fair idea of what is going on and who I suspect. This one fooled me almost all the way through, and it finally dawned on me what was going on right before it was revealed. I did NOT see that coming,
Not only was the twist Gone Girl-level shocking (and I am not COMPARING it to that book, at all, just that my level of blindsided stupor was the same), but the writing was superb and the story was fast-paced and fun. I absolutely couldn't put it down, and I read the whole book in one day! I absolutely loved it. One of the best books I have read so far this year!

Wow!! Dear Wife is another page-turning tale filled with suspense, mystery, and intrigue. Kimberly Belle has a way of leading the reader so far down a path that the twists and turns are completely unexpected -- and wholeheartedly appreciated! Beth is a victim of domestic violence who's making her escape from her abusive husband. That's clear from the start. Everything else is a mystery -- keeping the reader alert and on the edge of the proverbial seat -- almost until the very end. What a ride!

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book caught me and held me till the last page. A psychological thriller full of twists and turns that I was sure I had figured out until BOOM, another twist that threw everything I thought, out the window. I lost a night of sleep because I could not put it down. Well written.

Really good book! Sabine is missing, and “Beth” assumes a different identity and is on the run from an abusive husband. As the story plays out, you think you have it all figured out. You don’t. Great plot twist.

Thank you Netgalley for an advanced copy of Dear Wife by Kimberly Belle.
This is a story of mental and physical abuse, friendship and courage. This book kept me on my toes and I couldn't put it down. Just when you thought you had things figured out, keep reading because you really don't. Another amazing book by this author!
