Kimberly Belle does it again! I have not picked up a book of hers that I didn't love! This one was no exception.

Dear Wife is told from different perspectives. We start with Beth. She is on the run from someone. Who is she? Where is she going? What is she going to do for her future? So many question!

Then we meet Jeffery. He is kind of a dick. His wife is missing. Where is she? Did he do something to her?

Finally, we meet Marcus. He is the cop assigned to find Jeffery's wife, but is there more to this story?

Most of the characters are unlikable. Some of them may have redeeming qualities, but I found myself routing for bad things to happen to some of them. You will not be disappointed if you read this book!

Thank you #netgalley for an early review copy of #DearWife!

I was given this book by NetGalley for an honest review -
No one knows what goes on behind closed doors.
Beth finds herself in an abusive relationship. She starts saving and planning her escape.
Her car is found but where is she? Is the husband responsible for her disappearance.
This book will keep you turning the pages.

I was hooked from the first page and it just kept getting better and better. Sabine is a real estate agent with an abusive husband and she goes missing. "Beth" is on the run from her abusive husband. When you think you know what is going on, you get thrown a curve ball and everything changes. This is my favorite kind of book with twists and turns that keep you wondering, guessing and speculating with an ending that I would never have imagined. I inhaled this book in record time because I could not put it down. Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin for the opportunity to read and review this book that still has me shaking my head. If you want a good thriller, I highly recommend this book.

Once again Kimberly Belle knock it out of the park. I will admit that it took me to 78% of the book to figure out who to blame and who to believe.

I don’t want to get in to the plot or characters of the story because I don’t want to risk giving anything away and possibly ruining the story for other readers.

I do want to say that this story is very very relevant to our times. Sadly, I am sure this story happens to women too often.

This story will put you through so many emotions: anxiety, anger, sadness, fear, hopefulness and frustration. Despite so many negative emotions, this book will make my favorites list of 2019.

I believe that one special characteristic of this story is that it is totally unbelievable which is not always the case of with psychological thrillers.

Right off the bat, we meet “Beth.” She is running from her abusive husband and has no plans to look back. The stakes are high. If she fails and he finds her, he will kill her.

Next we meet Jeffrey, who doesn’t seem like a terrible guy on the surface, but looks can be deceiving. He returns home from a trip to find his dazzling, likeable and successful wife, Sabine, missing. They have some issues in their marriage–she started working as a real estate agent a couple years before and quickly overtook Jeffrey as the primary breadwinner, but nothing that seems to raise a red flag.

Finally, we meet Marcus, the dedicated, hard-working detective who is working around the clock to locate Sabine. He’s a little rough around the edges, but has a heart of gold, even helping out his old partner’s widow with her kids when she needs him.

Of course, Dear Wife is psychological suspense. And what do we know about the genre? Nothing is as it seems. I found this one to be a satisfying, fast-read with some twists and turns I didn’t see coming. Well, maybe I saw them coming a little bit–but not from a mile away. And I found the twists to be fresh, not your average run-of-the-mill twists.

A well crafted thriller, which kept me in suspense right until the end. The multiple narrators helped me gain perspective on each of the characters in order to understand the whole picture. A wild ride right until the last page! Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book.

Dear Wife is a great book with and amazing ending. It had me guessing through each chapter of what was going to happen next. At the beginning it was a bit confusing to figure out exactly what was going on, but it was so well written that it kept my interest. If you like a thriller that is slowly built up to an explosive ending, this book is for you.

5 Stars for this heart pounding read. Wow! This book will put you thru a ton of different emotions...anxious, enraged, suspicious, frightened and hopeful. This is a mystery, within a mystery...one woman missing? Three men searching? Secrets that can’t be told, cause who would listen.

Ms. Belle hits it out of the park again. I loved ‘Three Days Missing’, and need to read ‘The Marriage Lie’...but not right now. I need to let my heart settle back into an even keel.

This story is haunting, it will open your eyes about abuse. What would you do? How far would you go?

******will post review to Amazon on pub day.

I was anticipating a good book but this one totally blew me away! I don't want to give anything away because any hints or clues will ruin the last part of the book...trust me, this novel will keep you up late at night and maybe into the hours of the next morning. It's that good!

Told in alternating points of view, Dear Wife is a suspense about a battered wife on the run, her husband who is looking for her, and the detective on her trail.

I review so many books and don't often give out five stars but this one earned it. I love a plot that I haven't seen before and if a book can shock me, even better!

Fantastic story! I can't say too much without giving the story away but it was really an excellent book. Each time I put it down I could not wait to get back into it. For some it might be obvious, for others it might be less so, but I for one devoured this book and loved every minute of it. Kimberly Belle has just upped her game - I thought The Marriage Lie was great, and this one is even better!

Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved The Marriage Lie by this author and didn't really care for Three Days Missing, so I wasn't sure where this one would fall. I think this was in the middle. There is a woman using the name Beth that is on the run after leaving an abusive husband and there is a woman named Sabine that is missing. The book alternates between Beth's journey and the search for Sabine. I think the issue for me is that around 60% I had the basics of what was going on figured out and while there were surprises at the end that I had not figured out, they weren't big enough to boost this one to a 5 star. Still, there was plenty of suspense at the end and I kept turning the pages, so it was pretty good overall. I look forward to this author's next book.

I was given an advanced copy to read in exchange for an honest review!

Wow, what a story! This is a book that truly is about the unexpected. The characters are written so well that you feel sorry for characters then later in the book you wonder why you ever felt that way.

The story truly speaks to horrible situations that women find themselves in. When you are in an abusive relationship you some times your too afraid to leave and it take courage to try to find a way out. This story captures the frustration and fear a victim feels.

Highly recommend to read.

This has the absolute potential to become a best selling thriller. The book maintains it's intensity throughout and I never felt like there was a lull in the writing. This book reminded me a lot of "The Wife Between Us" in the way it was written with a story line that I was sure I had correct and turned out to be completely wrong, which I should've been able to figure. I thought the whole premise was interesting, very well written, and because I received an ARC, it was difficult to get around with formatting but I know that would be cleared up before print. AMAZING book.

While the thriller part thoroughly worked for me (a promising premise, a great page-turner), the characters didn’t (superficial and stereotyped, especially the supporting roles), and the ending fell short (not to mention too Christian-Fiction-y for my liking).
Nevertheless the momentous twist that I didn’t see coming deserves an extra star for it will surely please lovers of the physiological thriller genre.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

This kept me solidly interested. Great story even after the actual story reveals itself...I hate to use the word "twist" because it seems overused and people base their entire experience on if they liked the twist or figured out the twist. So much more to a book than a twist, even when it's a delicious one.

"If my husband doesn't report me missing, am I really gone?"

I don't know!!
Are you really gone?
Who is your husband??
Who are YOU???

Take a shot of Gone Girl with a generous splash of Sleeping With the Enemy and it still won't taste as good as Dear Wife.

From the fabulous cover
to the captivating plot
to the carefully crafted twist
to the fast and to-the-point writing style of Kimberly Belle,
this book is a compulsive read from beginning to end.

4.5 ⭐
