I've always been pretty good at catching twists...until now!

DEAR WIFE is a book about a woman going missing. Her husband comes home from a business trip to find she's not there. He alerts the authorities, and we slowly find out he may not be the perfect husband HE thought he was.

Meanwhile, in another state, a woman escaping her past does all she can to ensure it doesn't catch up with her.

That's all I'll say, as it's better for the reader to go in with only the book blurb. I was truly entertained by this unputdownable book even though I assumed where it was going. Then, about 75% through, I started having an idea. It didn't fully make sense yet. I told myself I was probably wrong. I wasn't. I'd like to think my smart observation skills figured it out at the 3/4 point, but I owe it all to the author. I think that's when she planned to plant the seed. I was gripped until the very end! Very highly recommended!

Thank you to NetGalley, Park Row, and author Kimberly Belle for an ARC.

What a ride! Fast paced told from alternating perspectives. I knew something was brewing, but I wasn’t sure how it would all come together. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The author keeps you on your toes until the end. The main character is on the run but she’s strong and not going down without a fight. You think that the book is going in one direction but it’s not. Sharp writing by the author.

Well, I'm a little confused by this one. The first half was strong. I liked the writing style and was anticipating some big twists and turns. I described the writing as quick and to the point without all the boring fluff! Around the middle of the book I needed at least a small twist to happen. Instead I completely figured out what the main twist was going to be - I'm unsure if this is because I read a lot of these types of books or if it was meant for us to figure out so easily?? So midway through I've figured out the big twist and yet nothing is happening... can we have some smaller twists and turns to kept our hearts racing? So I eat my words bc the second half of the book I found to be boring and predictable. Then I started to feel uncomfortable as the book went on by some of the stereotypical descriptions of people. Some of this I'm sure was in attempt to show an "evil mind" but most of the time it was unnecessary. At that point I'm sorta skim reading bc I'm uncomfortable and eager to just see how it all ends. I was expecting a little more based on all the rave reviews and this book started off strong but ended up falling flat for me.

I have read a few of Kimberly Belle’s other novels and when I found out about this upcoming book I knew I had to read it! I loved it, just as much as I enjoyed reading her other books, especially Three Days Missing and The Marriage Lie. I was not disappointed in this book and found myself immersed in the pages, flipping through the chapters, right to the very end!

Who exactly is Beth? She devises an elaborate plan to escape from her abusive, controlling husband and is on the run from him. She had money stashed, and had all of the intricate details all planned out… And where has Sabine disappeared? Was someone responsible for her disappearance? If so, who could it be? How are the two stories related?

I was addicted to this fast-paced novel from the beginning. It was interesting to read the book from different perspectives – from the detective in charge of finding missing Sabine, Jeffrey who is Sabine’s husband, and Beth who is running away from her abusive husband.

A complex story that is both a domestic thriller and a psychological thriller. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and all the suspense in the storyline. A unique set of main characters that will keep you guessing to the very shocking ending.

If you are a fan of Kimberly Belle’s novels, be sure to add this book to your list. You will love it.

If you haven’t read any of Kimberly Belle’s novels yet, make sure you check them out!

Well done Kimberly!

Fans of Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl" will love this spellbinding read by Kimberly Belle. Her latest novel will have you turning pages late into the evening. Awesome story that had me wondering until the very end!

Beth Murphy is a woman on the run. Desperate to escape her abusive husband, she changes her looks and her name and hightails it across the country, intent on beginning a new life without the specter of her husband's violence overshadowing every move that she makes. The question is though....will he find her? Because we all know that he will not let her go that easily. He is coming after her. And he will make her pay.

Meanwhile, in Arkansas, Sabine Hardison is a missing woman. Floundering in a loveless marriage and planning to leave her jealous husband for her rich lover, she vanishes into thin air one afternoon. As her husband tries to defend himself, her crushed lover seems heartbroken. Which, if any of them, is lying? Has Sabine ALSO tried to escape and start a new life, or has one of the men in her like decided to exact revenge?

Seriously, this book had very similar shades of "Gone Girl." If you enjoyed that read, you definitely need to give this one a shot. I was hooked on the story lines, and couldn't wait to see how the two stories would eventually merge. And merge they did. When the final twist was revealed, I was shocked and can say that I did NOT see it coming. "Dear Wife" will have you rethinking every picture perfect married couple that you have ever seen. As we all know, rarely is marriage perfect, and skeletons can be found in most every closet.

A twisted tale of psychological suspense that will have readers grappling for the next clue....Beth has planned her escape down to the last detail. She left her abusive husband and is now trying to send him in the opposite direction with her misleading clues, but she must remain on the run until the chase is over.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey wakes up and his wife, Sabine, has also gone missing. There are no clues except for her abandoned car, and the local detective is determined to find answers. But will he find more than he bargained for?

Highly recommended!

This is my first novel by Kimberly Belle, and it won’t be my last. I absolutely loved this book,

When Sabine goes missing her husband is the prime suspect as she tries to escape an abusive marriage. Her husband tries to convince the police of his innocence. Sabine also has secrets of her own.

Later on in the book we meet a secondary character Beth, who is on the run,

I would love to say more, but do not want to give away any spoilers.
My best advice, request or buy, you will not regret it,

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Sabine is missing and no one knows where she would have gone. Not her husband. Not even her twin sister. So...where did she go? This story follows Marcus as he tries to solve Sabine's disappearance and Beth as she runs away from a miserable life. Will either of them succeed?

I really liked this book. We had a few different narrators in the story and plenty of mystery. I love how the author highlights the fact that, until we are in a desperate situation, we can't really be sure what we are capable of, whether that be stealing, lying, or going to new lows we never thought possible. For fans of a good psychological thriller, I can't recommend this book enough!

Kimberly Belle has done it again! Dear wife will make you think and think and over analyze everything! Will Sabine be found?!?! Will Beth’s plan really work? Does Ingrid know more than she lets on. Is the Doc a good one? Is Jeffrey a loving misunderstood husband? Once again the queen of endings will leave you with your jaw hitting the floor once everything comes full circle and is revealed!

I have been eagerly looking forward to Dear Wife since I found out it was being published. I was so excited to read it that I was almost afraid to start it in case I was disappointed, but that was not the case.

I was pulled in right away and got caught up in the characters and their stories so quickly that I didn't want to put the book down. Kimberly Belle just has a way of grabbing me and not letting go until the last page.

This book was excellent. Filled with suspense, fear, and lots of questions. I questioned everything and so completely thought I knew what was going on, but no...and not a little no...a HUGE no.

I was surprised, shocked and then curious if I'd missed a hint or two, but I don't think I did. What a wonderful story this author wrote. I won't forget it any time soon and I'm still going to go back and reread in case I missed something.

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and author for approving my request for an ARC. All thoughts in this review are my own.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t first mention how badly I wanted to read this book. When I got notification that my request had been approved, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning! From the moment I laid eyes on the cover, I knew I could not wait until June to read it! It had some pretty big shoes fill.

Beth Murphy is a woman on the run from an abusive husband. Planning had escape for about a year, she hid away money, purchased a new car, chose a new destination, and left her old life behind.

Sabine Hardison goes missing. Her husband Jeffrey reports her disappearance upon his return from a work trip. Nothing is missing and the only evidence police turn up is her abandoned car. Further digging into Sabine’s whereabouts turns up much evidence to support an unhappy marriage and the prime suspect naturally becomes her husband.

Marcus Durand is the detective on the case. He is a hardworking man, determined to solve the case of the missing woman, often times putting his personal life on the back burner to do so.

Told in the point of view of three people, this is one of those books I went into thinking I had it mostly figured out. I knew the characters were somehow connected, but wasn’t sure how. As I continued reading, I realized that some of my thinking was accurate, but recognized that there had to be a bigger things to come —some sort of twist— so I began thinking of alternate outcomes. Well, let me tell you, I did NOT see this one coming. The ending was superb and absolutely blew my mind. Kimberly Belle is quickly becoming one of my new favorite authors! I am honored to have been given the change to read this book before publication.

I just finished this book and it is a wonderful thriller. A wife running from an abusive husband, always a good story line. Whose wife? Who is the husband? That's just one of the puzzles in this story. I recomend this book to anyone looking for a page turner.

I didn’t know what to expect going into this book but all I have to say now is WOW! Good solid thriller that dragged at times but the twist and surprise I never would have guessed. Would definitely recommend and would like to thank netgalley for letting me give an honest review of this book!

This book got off to a great start as a wife goes missing, and her husband becomes the prime suspect. But of course with secondary characters, there was a lot more going on with the plot. A little draggy at times, but overall a solid suspense thriller. I liked that a lot of the story took place in Atlanta, my adopted hometown. A fun and quick read that exposes spousal abuse and domestic violence.

Pretty good! I knew everything couldn’t be exactly as it seemed but I couldn’t totally predict the twist until I was close to the end.

What an exciting read! I felt like I was there with Beth, as she traveled away from her abusive spouse. What a thriller! I totally thought I knew who she was and at the end I was completely wrong. This book was wonderfully written, the characters were deep and edgy and so real.

My heart ached for Beth and so many real individuals that go through the same thing. I loved the people that were willing to help Beth on her journey and booed the ones that would take advantage of these people, knowing full well what they were going through.

I really, really recommend this book!! #dearwife

I would like to thank the author/publisher/Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Had me hooked from the beginning with a shocking ending. A fabulous suspense thriller, not to be made asked. The lady can write!

This was one twisted story! It wasn't edge of your seat as some parts just dragged a little, but Dear Wife was unexpected and enjoyable. If you prefer character driven stories, this one might be ok, but I didn't particularly like any characters through most of the story. If you are good with plot driven stories and don't get invested then this might be right up your alley.

I so wanted to love this book. I have read and loved The Marrage Lie so I had high expectations for this book, but I was disappointed. I enjoyed the scenes with Jeffrey & Ingrid, but I picked up on the twist early and I felt like the climax of the story wasn’t as thought out as the rest of the book. I would have liked something more from that. I definitely liked the book and finished quickly but was hoping for a little more action. Thank you for the opportunity to read & review!

Just when you think Kimberly Belle’s novels can’t get any better - BAM! She does it again.

Dear Wife will keep you on edge, wanting to know the Who, What, Where, Why, and WHAT?? So much so you won’t be able to put the book down. I finished this page turner in one day - and was left wanting so much more! The novel is filled with twists and turns - some I really didn’t see coming and LOVED!

Kimberly Belle is perfection when it comes to writing thrillers! If you haven’t read her previous novels, I highly suggest picking them up, you won’t be disappointed.

I received an ARC of Dear Wife from NetGalley and Park Row, all opinions are my own.
