I recieved this book from netgalley for an honest review. This is actually my first book by either one of these Authors. Now, I do want to say that the first 50 pages or so are really slow. To be honest, I thought the book wasnt going to go anywhere, but.....wow! If you can get past those first few chapter you will NOT want to put this book down. I had this book read in 5 hours! Thats really good timing for me. I love how much detail there was. I could picture everything in my head and boy was I in a wonderland! This book took me to a world I have never been before. The characters make this book come alive! Good job to the author. This is one book I am happy I had the privilege to read before others. I do not want to go into too much detail because this is an experience you have to read for yourself!

Enjoyed this as I've enjoyed all of the others in the series. A bit slow at the beginning, but once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. Please keep them coming!

I loved every second of The Last Second. The attention to detail was fantastic and really pulled me into the story. Intrigued by woman in NASA. The possibility of alien life forms. And let’s throw in The Holy Grail just to make it even more interesting. Catherine Coulter is a long time favorite author and she’s seamlessly teamed up with J.T. Ellison to create this thrill ride. My thanks to the authors and the publisher along with Net Galley for the opportunity to read this novel.

When I heard there was another book by Ms. Coulter and Ms. Ellison I was looking anxiously forward to reading another Michaela and Nicholas adventure, I was not disappointed. An interesting story line with lots of action, if you want a thriller that will keep your interest try this one. I received e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.

Suspense, tension, and danger are literally nonstop in this breathtaking thriller, newest in the BRIT IN THE FBI series. Authors Catherine Coulter and J. T. Ellison are superbly teamed and there is never a moment of letdown nor regret that I chose to read this novel. Aliens (or not), pscyhological disorders, Space, astronauts, astrophysics, nuclear weapons, EMP's, undersea treasure hunts: there is so much about which to be excited, and the writing is purely excellent.

The plot is genius, and so very plausible that the potential reality only heightens the terror. I couldn't stop reading. So engrossing!

The Last Second by Catherine Coulter and J.T Ellison. 5 stars.

This is the new book in The Brit in the FBI series and it is fabulous. Non stop action, Aliens, Outer Space, and the Holy Grail. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. The banter between Nick and Mike is terrific. The main villains arei an ex-astronaut and her ex-IRA assistant. Her aim is to welcome the aliens by getting rid of all the electronic noise. Is she nuts or an alien collaborator? She launches a satellite with a nuclear bomb on board which if detonated, will cause catastrophe.and mayhem It is up to Nick and Mike to stop her.. I throughly enjoyed thus book and look forward to the next adventure.

Thank you Netgalley and Gallery/Simon and Schuster for thus ARC.

I can’t wait for the next book with a Mike and Nicholas. This story took you all over the world and with amazing characters. The names were a little odd but you’ll never forget the crazy one with Heaven spelled backwards. I was hoping this series wasn’t turning into some kind of sci-fi story and thank goodness it was not. Really makes you think about the space program. And of people with more money than they know what to do with, I have a few suggestions. The book was not that long and at times I hated to put it down. Ended up reading in two days.
