Oh I loved this book
Typical Dinah Jeffries full of wonderful colourful descriptions of exotic places set in a bygone era.
Beautifully written story that is full of intrigue and passion.
It’s a bit of a tear jerker in parts but it’s filled with so much joy as well
Set in pre war Burma Dinah paints a wonderful picture of a beautiful part of the world that most people will never experience. It is so beautifully described the reader feels the atmosphere of the place as though one Is there!
It’s a mystery interspersed with romance kind of book and is so enjoyable that you will want to keep reading till the last page.
