What a lovely prayer book, Jessie Fioritto did a wonderful and lovely job. This is not the typical devotional, all do it has a Bible verse and specific focus for that day. It's all about prayers, practical, honest and from the heart. It's a perfect addition for your own devotional time, to keep at hand and to mark does that are your favorite and more helpful. I say that this book is a must-read.

Prayers for every need
"Praying Your Way to Hope. 200 Inspiring Prayers for a Woman's Heart" by Jessie Fioritto is an encouraging and inspiring collection of prayers. The author combines Bible verses with prayers under specific topics (e.g., A Good Father, Joyful in Hope, Strength out of Weakness, Chosen to Love, ...). She offers prayers for every season of life. Since the book does not offer a topical index nor a table of content it is highly recommended that the readers mark their preferred prayers in order to find them when they need them. At least the book contains a scripture index. The abbreviations for the various Bible translations are included in the introduction (e.g., nlt = New Living Translation).
It is important to note that this is not a devotional. I highly recommend this book as a help for people who want to learn to pray and also for those who lack the words to pray in a particular situation. I recommend this book as well for those who are used to pre-formulated prayers or who want to learn to use and appreciate them. In spite of the fact that the sub-title suggests that these prayers are "for a Woman's heart", there is no reason that this book cannot also be used by children, teens, young adults, or men.

This is not a devotional as I expected, but it is just as wonderful. It is a collection of prayers coupled with a verse. I really suggesting using bookmarks to mark your favorites so you can easily go to them in your times of need. The prayers are well-written and do relate to the verse. Their are prayers for every walk in life.

I highly suggest this book to anyone. It's especially great for those struggling with finding the words to pray. I do suggest adding in your personal situation into the prayers, but it's great for when the hurt makes it hard to find the words to pray.

This book also makes a great book to any woman of faith. I especially suggest it to any new believers who struggle with prayer.
