A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This reads well as a stand alone. I liked Ana and the idea, but the whole thing felt a little off. Ana is treated very unfairly by Noel (who names a male sheikh Noel?) and the family. I was confused by the culture and the family dynamics. He says sorry and everything is ok? All is forgiven? Not believable!! It felt rushed towards the end. It is short and entertaining but I didn't love it. I give it 3 stars.

I enjoyed the first book in Leslie North’s new series Christmas with the Yared Sheihks - The Sheikh's Christmas Fling; however I was disappointed with the ending.

A story of a professional woman down on her luck, Ana is employed as head chef for the royal family and finds subterfuge and drama around every corner. Together with her sou chef Charlie, Ana is determined to prove her worth. But the unexpected romantic entanglement with the middle son, Noel, and the underhanded scheming of a disgruntled foe, make for confusing and often heightened emotions, before the inevitable betrayal occurs.

The characters were likeable, the storyline was well developed for such a short story, and some fun balanced the drama. What I didn’t like was Ana’s instant forgiveness of a monumental lack of faith and trust from the man who easily cast her aside without allowing her a hearing. So, a good story, but the ending lost this one a star.

Ana has no idea what fate has in store for her when she decides to move lock, stock, and barrel to the tiny kingdom of Maatkare as the resident head chef for the royal family. After leaving her past mistakes behind, she now must garner approval of the stern-faced royals, creating dishes of historical and cultural importance. Her first critic is Noel, one of the Sheikh’s son’s. But soon she is interested in more than his palate, and he becomes enraptured by her.
But not all works in her favor and soon Noel has to make a difficult choice while Ana is forced to leave. How can he reconcile what he knows about Ana against what the evidence proves?
An exciting romantic adventure deep in the midst of the culture of Maatkare.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've received a ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

A very fast pace romance that didn't particularly stand out. I thought there was more chemistry between Charlie and Ana then Noel and Ana. Also the ending came too abruptly. Nothing to rave about. Just a quick and easy read if you're trying to kill time.

Not for me at all, very short and not so sweet, chemistry rushed and no substance, oh you didn't believe me oh okay then I forgive you. Completely unbelievable and implausible behaviours. If it was padded out more, characters fleshed out and responses more realistic it could have been good, but sadly it wasn't.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest review

I nabbed this one off of NetGalley because I thought it sounded like it would have a very good grovel. I didn't. In fact, it had ZERO grovel. He just shows up, says "sorry" and that is that...much disappointment ensued...sigh.

It took me a minute to get used to the Prince being named Noel. It was a distraction for me. I liked the Chef aspectof the story. I enjoyed Ana's character.
