I don't normally review memoirs, or anything along those lines. I'm unsure how this book got into my 'to read and review' pile if I'm honest. Still, an extended letter to his daughters about life, the author's life and ruminations, is a beautiful gift, and while the writing style and focus didn't speak to me... the concept is one I wish more parents took on, for when they pass on.

Kudos to the author for baring their intimate personal stories to the world, and sharing them with more than just their daughters.

I loved this book. I loved how tbe author wrote a song to his daughters and then expounds upon the meaning of tbe lyrics in this book to share timeless wisdom with not only his daughters, but the rest of us as well.

I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.
