A hilarious look at fatherhood and depression. A rare gem of a book. Laugh out loud!

Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

A memoir about fatherhood, from pre-pregnancy through the early elementary years. Mostly comedic is right--some parts were downright hilarious! Other parts were honest and real. Other parts were sad: from the immaturity of this couple to the mental health struggles they each went through.

Recommended for both new and veteran parents!

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me a free e-ARC of this book.

I loved Brett's book!! He is such an amazing storyteller! I think anyone who has ever been married, dated and/or been a parent is going to relate to his stories. Even having had 6 children -- I loved his stories about him becoming a first time dad.

I'm hoping he comes out with another book really soon!!

So I'm writing this review so that author won't have to commute anymore.
Read the book thoroughly to figure that reference out.

Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free,it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.

What could go wrong? by Brett Grayson Is a book about parenting with funny and sad, real and exaggerated moments. This book will make you laugh and think, maybe cry.

This book brought up a ton of emotions while I was reading  it.

The introduction caught me off guard with how funny it was. Brett Grayson's writing reminded me of  Nick Spalding's. And it was funny. But then things got real while we got to meet the real problems of new parents. I got to know the author and his family and felt like they were the people I know.
No matter how much one can portray the live as a funny adventure, real live can get rough.

I got mixed opinion about the book when the author started describing nanny search and nannies themselves. I felt that I read that before in the Perfect Nanny by Leila Slimani.

I would recommend this book to all variations of parents: new, soon to be, just parents, sometimes to-be.
