It seems as if every kid goes through a comedian phase, where they love to ask riddles and tell jokes. And it seems as if the worse the joke is, the funnier it is. We’ve given it a whole name: Dad jokes. Dad jokes, knock knock jokes, riddles, wordplay, and puns. It’s all fun and all funny. These books will give your little comedian a whole new repertoire. And they manage to avoid the potty humor genre!

I love the illustrations in this book. They’re cute and simple and definitely added to the jokes themselves. I wish there were more original jokes though. I didn’t find myself laughing at all, though my five year old son enjoyed some of them when I read them allowed to him.

My nieces and newphews loved this book. We have been using Siri or Google to "tell me a kids joke" and sadly they only have 10 that they recycle. This was great dinner conversation that kept all the kids engaged and off their ipads/devices which is always a success. They are simple enough for the youngest (4) to understand and the oldest (11) to still find funny. I highly recommend this book to entertain the whole family.

I loved joke books as a child, and my little sister has been really big on jokes lately too. I read this thinking I would recommend it to her. I still might, but I don't know that this is 'the world's best' joke book. Still, it's got some pretty good jokes, and it good for a whole family to enjoy.

Sterling and Lazar’s compilation for kids is chalk full of fun jokes. These two volumes, really brought me back to my childhood and reminded me of a book I had growing up.

Some of the jokes included in the first book, I had heard before. However I was pleasantly surprised to read so many that were new to me. The modern references that mentioned such examples as: current technology and pop culture, will appeal to the children of today.

The World’s Best Jokes for Kids Volumes I & II would be ideal to share with the whole family. Teachers could share them with their students and these books would also make for great gifts.

I would highly recommend these volumes for ages 8 and up.

What a cute and fun book of jokes! My son will love this! I can’t wait to pick this up for him. I’d recommend it for the silly little ones in your life.

This is so cute. As an adult I get a kick out of the jokes plus the illustrations are an added bonus.

Great fun. Good selection of quick jokes, and cute illustrations accompanying them. I particularly enjoyed some of the fresher pop cultures references, like Frozen and Instagram. There are some well-worn jokes in this collection (e.g., tuna fish). But there's also a Star Wars pun, an excellent Shakespeare joke, and one about a polar bear I'll be telling for weeks. Not to mention, a couple of the jokes were downright hilarious.

My kids enjoyed this book! Lots of jokes they hadn't heard before and cute illustrations. Little ones will like it.

Great jokes for kids! I love that it is illustrated and the illustrations are full of whimsy. I read this courtesy of netgalley.com but I cannot wait to buy this for my kids (or myself, for that matter).

These really are the world’s best jokes. By the way, the exaggeration rates have gone 1000% percent in the last year. Most of the jokes were new to me and the illustrations made the jokes funnier. There are a few riddles too, but those I’ve heard before many times. Some jokes I really liked are:
What do you call a dinosaur wearing a blindfold?  A doyouthinkhesaurus?
Why did the scarecrow win a medal?  Because he was outstanding in his field.
My sister and I often laugh about how competitive we are.      But I laugh more.
And last but not the least
What is a bat’s motto?  Hang in there. This one is my motto as well. 
 This book has 130 pages full of such jokes.

Kids & I enjoyed this joke book! Was glad some of them had illustrations otherwise it would’ve taken longer to figure out some of the punch lines. Felt it was geared toward ages 6 years and up. A bit disappointed I could only get it on digital editions but am happy to have had the opportunity to read it at least! Would recommend.

Thank you to the warning at the beginning of the book that the jokes in this compilation are a mix of funny, silly and corny ones. Some of the jokes are good and can exercise one's mind because you will have to consider carefully what the joke is about. However, there are not-so-good or corny jokes that perhaps funny to others, but I did not find myself laughing at them. Middle-graders and young adults will love this book, and most probably teachers could also use this as a reference to lighten up the atmosphere in the classroom.

This is adorable. I found myself gaffawing loudly at many of the jokes illustrated. My 9yo son would definitely get a kick out of a joke bike like this.

With a creative play on words, the author offered an amusing book of jokes for kids. Frankly, some of them worked well for me too as I chortled my way through this comic edition. The wonderful illustrations added a brilliant touch to the already amusing punch lines. I recommend this book for the perfect resource of jokes for children.

Right before the first joke appears, there’s a warning sign, literally. It reads: Danger! This book contains a lot of silly, corny, brilliant, and funny jokes. Guess which of those four adjectives is the most on-the-nose.
What do you call a bear with no ears? B. Yes! Spelling jokes are my kind of humor. And computer humor: what do you call a bee from the United States? USB.
Even when the joke itself doesn’t hit the mark, the illustrations make up for it. There’s the joke so old it was sorta the title of an REO Speedwagon album, but if you look at the way the fish is looking up at the guy trying to tune it. . .
Then there are others, like the Frozen and Bison jokes, that are pretty cringy—I was warned, after all—but would probably make some kids laugh.
Sometimes there’s a joke like Nutella, irrelephant, and perman-ant that make me wonder how many kids would get the humor, since they might be too young to know those words. Even I don’t know what a stomata is.
They used one of my favorite jokes, about time flying and then fruit flying. Don’t know what that says about me, especially when they include the poultry in motion line.
I will go as far as to say this made me chuckle more often than I thought I would, though it certainly brought the groans as well.

Sadly, I can't review this book as when I went to download, it was as ACSM file. If it doesn't come in kindle format, I can't figure out how to access it. So sorry I chose this book to review as I just can't do it! I only gave it one star because I am required to give a star rating. I am certain it is a wonderful book, but can't honestly give it a rating at this point in time.

This is a perfect little joke book for children! I love telling my preschoolers jokes and they will bring me jokes too, so I was happy to get this title. The book is put together with small individual drawings for each joke with roughly one to three jokes per page. I really liked the layout of the book.
Several jokes were ones I’ve heard but always seem to forget, and many were new to me. Here are a few cute jokes I really liked..
What do you call having your granny on speed dial? ... instagran!

What do you call a positive bunny? .... a hoptimist!
