The latest installment of the Shaughnessy series does not disappoint. Once again, another heartwarming, sweet and spicy story with small town goodness, great characters, and lots of shenanigans..

Bobby Hannigan loves his job as a police officer and when an off duty incident sidelines his career it shifts his world upside down. How will he handle being away from work, depending on others to recover?

Teagan Shaughnessy has moved to town with her young son and enjoying the chance to hang out with family. Widowed before her son was born it's been years since Logan passed away while serving his country. What will happen when she finds herself wanting to spend time with Bobby? How long will she be able to make excuses and not put herself first?

It's not often in life we get a second chance to find love, these two strangers will discover that they have more in common if they'd take a chance. Family expectations, assumptions take these two on a journey through recovery, growth, and faith.

As with every Samantha Chase book this is a journey filled with all the feels so grab a cuppa and enjoy. If you are devoted readers of the Shaughnessy series the interconnected characters will warm your heart with lots of updates :)

Bobby and Teagan both definitely have their fair share of adjustments to deal with in their lives, and it was really fun to read about it all throughout Tangled Up in You by Samantha Chase.

Bobby’s got a bit of a ‘tude (understandably so) when he and Teagan met, but she was truly the perfect match for him in this book. And I loved her son Lucas! He deserved this family most!

As always, I love visiting the Shaughnessy family and this book truly did not disappoint!

Sorry did not finish this book. I have found this author seems to write to same type of romance over and over again. For example the books have different names but most times the way they fall in love etc is so similar to her other books they are no longer interesting.

Thank you Samantha Chase for another wonderful story about The Shaughnessy Brothers. I enjoyed reading book seven. I have just loved the wonderful exciting ups and downs of the Shaughnessy family!

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

In “Tangled Up in You” (The Shaughnessy Brothers #7) by Samantha Chase we meet Teagan and her son as they make a move to be closer to family and Bobby Hannigan who suffered a police officers worst nightmare. As their two worlds collide and their attraction to each other increases they both begin wonder if what they have can withstand their pasts. With the subtle prodding of family (not so subtle) and a buried hatchet from a long feud between bother in laws maybe their future could be together.

I received an ARC of this book through Net Galley and this is my honest opinion.

I had never read any of the Shaughnessy Brothers Series but I did enjoy this book. After finishing it I went back and tried to request the rest in the series only to find my library did not have them. I did put in for a purchase suggestion.

Tangled Up in You is a second chance at romance even if the first time wasn't with each other and Bobby wasn't ever serious about a woman before. This is Teagan and Bobby's story and the seventh book in The Shaughnessy Brothers series. Teagan is a cousin to the Shaughnessys and though she hasn't spent much time with them in years it's like they've never been apart. She's an only child who moved a lot since her dad was in the military. She's also a single mom to her five year old son, Lucas, and isn't looking for anything except to settle in to her rental in North Carolina and starting her new job.

When she and Bobby first meet at a family picnic sparks fly and he's smitten. He's a police officer in Myrtle Beach who's recuperating from an injury that happened when he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. She doesn't have time for a relationship, not that it's what's being offered, but they both feel the chemistry. Most of the time they are taking one step forward and two or more back and he especially recognizes it. There are lots of family around and some see it and others don't. As the two of them try to figure out if they're friends or more, or even less, I liked their interactions with each other but also with Lucas. They both have a support network and it felt real.

As the story flows there are happy and sad moments along with lots of family and friends, laughter, tears, sadness, anger, hurt, flirting, warnings, outings, dates, hot and steamy moments along with family friendly ones, romance, loving and love. The story flowed nicely and I loved the inclusion of so many family members, both adult and children. We get to know Bobby and Teagan slowly since there is a depth to them. I loved the wisdom imparted to them by their parents or Bobby's sister along with her husband who gives advice and grief to both Teagan and Bobby. There is some closure and a happily ever after that was an aw moment for me that took place in the epilogue but it just didn't go far enough for me. I hope we get to meet up with the Shaughnessy family over and over again.

Ms. Chase is one of my favorite authors of contemporary romances and she always makes me feel like I am there. I've read quite a few of her books and some in this series along with several others, are on my TBR pile just itching to be read. I look forward to reading them as well as whatever she pens next! Give her books a try if you haven't already.

Favorite Quote: "I watched you with Lucas, I listened to the things you said, and more than anything, I thought 'this is a woman I want to get to know.' This isn't about looking for a hookup or a way to pass the time, I genuinely like you," he explained. "I like your honesty, and the way you don't mince words. I'm in awe of your parenting skills and the way you love your son. But even more than that, I look at you and I just...I feel better. You're like this incredible breath of fresh air in my life."

Tangled up in You is the newest book in the Shaughnessy Brothers series from Samantha Chase and she gave her readers such a wonderful story. Teagan Shaughnessy and Bobby Hannigan meet at a family cookout as Tegan is a Shaughnessy cousin and Bobby's sister Anna is married to Quinn Shaughnessy, who is Teagan's cousin. Bobby isn't in the best frame of mind when he first meets both Teagan and her son Lucas, as he is recovering from a gunshot wound and he is an absolutely horrible patient. Teagan and her son, along with her parents have just moved back to the Carolina coast and are loving being able to reconnect with family.

Teagan is a very strong woman. She lost her fiancé before Lucas was ever born and is very gun-shy about getting into another relationship. However, she and Bobby have an insane attraction to each other and really seemed to get each other. I also really loved that Bobby and Lucas connected pretty much from the moment they met and it never felt like a force relationship. Not that both Teagan and Bobby didn't have some issues. Teagan was scared to ever give her heart away again after losing her first love, and Bobby was afraid he would never be able to go back to the police force as it kept taking longer and longer for his wound to heal. I loved seeing Teagan and Bobby grow closer and closer the more time they spent together. They both did allow their pasts to get in the way longer than I would have liked, but I loved how they worked thought their issues to become a real family.

While I loved getting Teagan and Bobby's story, I also loved getting to spend time with Anna and Quinn in Tangled up in You. Anna was such a great friend to Teagan from the moment she arrived and just what Teagan really needed. However, what made me laugh pretty much every time he was on the page was Quinn giving Bobby a hard time much as Bobby had done to him when he and Anna were first getting together. I will say, seeing Quinn and Bobby actually becoming real friends gave me all the feels, as I love a good bromance.

Tangled up in You was a wonderful addition to the Shaughnessy series of books. While it is the 7th book in the series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone story. I highly suggest this book and series to fans of contemporary romances filled with love, laughter, and a plethora of emotions.

A glorious return to all things Shaughnessy! If you were as big of fan of this family as I have been throughout this series, you will be thrilled to get to touch base with all of them again when their cousin Teagan finds love with Bobby Hannigan. Love this series as a whole and this particular book was a mix of reunion and rediscovery. Enjoyed it!

Bobby Hannigan didn’t expect to be heading back to his parents home in North Carolina, but when you get shot and your whole career is on the line waiting to see if you will recover, things have a way of snowballing. The only bright spot in this whole dark time is meeting Teagan.

Teagan Shaughnessy followed her parents from Colorado to NC so her son would still have the family he dearly loves near him. She’s not looking to make any more big changes in her life at the moment, but she can’t seem to get her heart to understand that every time it skips a beat when Bobby is near.

I've looked forward to this since - well since the end of the previous book in the series! Firstly i love Samantha Chases style, writing flare and the stories Ms Chase creates are fab-u-lous. That said - this story certainly didnt disappoint, Bobby and Teagan meet at a difficult time for both - wrong time, wrong place, but fate/cupid whom ever has other plans for them as they each face their own troubles, together they're stronger. Usual man fights the attraction, woman resists too until that spark gets too much - and the rest i'll say it definately one of the best pre-summer reads!

Fans of Chase’s Shaughnessy Brothers have waited a long time for Bobby Hannigan’s story and won’t be disappointed with this 7th (and probable last) book in the series. Bobby, a cop in the process of slowly recovering from a gunshot wound, has moved back home to heal with hopes of rejoining the force. Single mom Teagan Shaughnessy, cousin to the large brood immortalized in previous books, has also moved to the Carolina coast with her parents and young son, Lucas and runs into Bobby at a family gathering. Although both have plans for the future that don’t include romantic entanglements and Teagan wants to protect Lucas from growing too attached, the attraction can’t be denied and the bond between them grows. However, Teagan worries about getting involved with another man who puts himself in front of the line of fire after losing her fiancé in Afghanistan. Can these two people help each other through their grief and build a life together?

Chase excels at writing heart-warming, honest stories with complicated family dynamics, sexy scenes that aren’t too graphic, and the struggles romantic partners must overcome to be together. Many of the characters in previous books that readers came to love are featured in this book, especially Quinn and his wife Anna, Bobby’s sister. Although Bobby and Quinn have had a contentious relationship in the past, it’s Quinn who talks with Bobby about the extent of his injuries and the probability that his career is over. It’s very satisfying to see past hurts and animosities ease as the extended Shaughnessy clan celebrate family and protect and defend those they love.

I received a complimentary ARC of this book from Sourcebooks Casablanca through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

This is another book in the Shaughnessy series. Teagan a cousin of theirs moves from Colorado with her son to Carolina because her parents are moving. Now having a family barbeque weeks after her move she meets Bobby Hannigan Anne Quinn’s brother. He had been shot at the beginning of the book. Being a police officer and he is fighting his recovery. After thinking he embarrassed himself he tries to leave only to be tracked down by her. Having her tell him off begins there back and forth and on and off the relationship. He is attracted to her but she had lost her son father to war is scared with him being a police officer. Not wanting to put herself into the situation again she comes up with reasons why they cannot be together after he is healed. A very good story with both characters going through a lot and has a very good ending.

This is the 7th book in the Shaughnessy Brothers series and first I read from the series. A large part of the family is gravitating Bobby and Teagan so it is easy to imagine there are indeed other stories previously written.
About Bobby and Teagan (in order of appearance) I thought in the beginning that the plot was poor and the pace was low. But it got better. The situation and their feelings and internal fights got much more consistent and then here was the emotional material coming.
I went from nearly being fed up with both of them to quite liking them or the way they grew or self improved.

This was my first Samantha Chase book and my first in this series. It isn't usually my style to read a book in a series without reading the previous books but I am so glad that I made an exception this time!

I loved reading Teagan and Bobby's story! It was a light, sweet, fun and romantic read. Teagan and Bobby are perfect for each other! They have both been through some pretty traumatic events and need each other more than they know. Teagan is extra hesitant because of her son but that adds another level of love to their relationship! I won't give away any spoilers because I believe that everyone should experience this book themselves! I will definitely be recommending this book to my friends!

I received a copy from NetGalley for review purposes

This book made me smile from page one. Through all the gunshot and grumpyness I still smiled. I adored how Bobby’s family let him have it when he was being a turd. And I couldn’t get enough of Bobby and Teagan together!

If you haven’t read the rest of the series, seriously why not, you can pick this one up and read it. The family from the series is in it but you won’t be lost in the story. Pick it up today!

Bobby Hannigan has returned home to recover from a gunshot wound. He angry and not sure if he will recover and be able to return to his job as a police officer.
Teagan is a single mom who has returned home to the Carolina coast to be around her large family. When Teagan meets Bobby the timing is wrong but everything else feels right.
Can they built a future together? Will Bobby leave as soon as he cleared to return to work? I loved this book. The characters were great for each other and I was waiting for them to figure out what I already knew.

I really enjoyed this sweet romance about an injured cop and a widow with a 5 year old son. The attraction is instantaneous but there are all sorts of complications. It's a sweet, family story with a hot, hot, hot romantic twist and lots of the family drama Samantha Chase have come to expect.
Another great read by a consistently entertaining author.

I was pulled right into this story. This story will pull you in and make you laugh through the entire story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

The below are part of this series if you want to read those books(s) first
Made for Us (The Shaughnessy Brothers, #1)
Love Walks In (The Shaughnessy Brothers, #2)
Always My Girl (The Shaughnessy Brothers, #3)
This Is Our Song (The Shaughnessy Brothers, #4)
A Sky Full of Stars (The Shaughnessy Brothers, #5)
Holiday Spice (The Shaughnessy Brothers, #6)

This is Teagan and Bobby’s story. What happens when your future is all planned out but then one things happens and everything derails? Bobby was injured and is not sure he can come back from that injury and do his job. Teagan moved to town to be close to her family. When these two meet they are drawn to each other, but can they really take a chance? Both have a lot going on but can they deal with the future and also fall for each other in the present?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.
