Who would have thought Bobby would finally meet his match. Someone who will not deal with his brooding or take his crap.
Teagan is that woman and once she gets under his skin there is no where for him to go. This story sucked me in from the first page. Teagan is a strong person and is starting her life in a new ton with her son. She is not letting anyone or anything get past their bond.
Bobby, however is going to do everything he can to slip into her world.

Tangled Up in You by Samantha Chase is a hot, heartfelt, and full of good feels kind of book. The characters pulled me into their story right away. I felt their chemistry spark instantly. It was so funny. A man, Bobby, is an injured cop. He didn't want to go to the family outing but does. He has been nothing but a crab to his family. Yet the moment he sees and meets a beautiful woman, all anger sort of goes away. Then, he almost drops his plate of food and has her helping him. That set him off again. Out of nowhere, he leaves. His father comes after him gives him a good yelling and tells him what to do. He knows his father was partially right. But he's still too ashamed and embarrassed. Then, he hears a kid crying and all his problems are forgotten. Helping the kid, Bobby finds a road to helping himself. An that beautiful woman, so happens to be the kid's mother. Plus, a cousin to the most pain in the butt Shaughnessy men.

I couldn't stop laughing. Between Bobby and the Shaughnessy cousin who's a pain in the butt, and the little moments of humor caused by the little boy, it was magical. I loved it. Bobby is like every other male. No help wanted or needed. Then, it kills him to admit it. But he soon learns to accept that he might need help sometimes. The real issue is communication.

Teagan Shaughnessy also has that very same problem. Communication. The sex is great. But when it comes to communicating her actual feelings, it's harder for her to open up. She's lost her love and he never found out about their kid. And now, being a single mom with a young boy, she has to learn how to be human again. Teagan is a tough, independent woman.

Overall, this novel was full of emotions, humor, and entertainment. This book was epic. I would recommend it to all.

I received this copy from the publisher. This is my voluntary review.

Tangled Up in You is the seventh book in the Shaughnessy Brothers series. Bobby and Teagan's story kept me hooked from beginning to end. And I always love a story with a child in it. It just makes them seem more real. This book is one not to be missed!

If you've read any of the Shaunghnessy series so far you've probably met Bobby Hannigan. Bobby was always that side character that you wanted to know more about and now we get his story. Bobby doesn't handle the aftermath of being shot in the best of ways and gets a tad grouchy. The only person who seems to pull him out of that funk is the last person he wants to have involvement with: a Shaughnessy. Not that he has anything against the Shaughnessys, after all, his sister is one and he loved growing up with the big crazy family. The more he thinks about, going out with his brother-in-law's cousin may have it's perks.

Teagan is an amazing character - she's been through a lot and loves her son to pieces. She definitely hides behind him a bit though she is a bit to stubborn to admit that. Moving closer to the extended family she was always jealous of as a kid is a complete change of pace for her and she goes through growing pains of learning to rely on others. When Teagan and Bobby meet, she sees much more into him and gives him a bit more leeway than the rest of the family does when he's a bit snippy. She sympathizes but sure isn't going to chase him.

Seeing these two figure out each other, navigate his job, her son, and their families, was a great read. Quinn played a pretty significant part in this story which was great to see him and Bobby finally work things out (kind of). Quinn and Anna were my least favorite Shaughnessy story and I feel like they come full circle with this book and it really completed the awesomeness of this family for me.

Bobby and Teagan had their ups and downs and when one of them ran, it took some tough love for both of them to wake up and realize what was in front of them. They were each damaged and wary in their own way and for very different reasons but once they sort it out, they were a great fit. I definitely recommend this story to anyone - whether's it's your first Shaughnessy book or the last. This is a great ending for this family - and if it's your first, go back and read them all. You won't regret it.

Tangled Up In You By Samantha Chase is book 7 in The Shaughnessy Brothers series. And I must say it's another wonderful story. I ADORE the Shaughnessy family!!

After Bobby Hannigan is injured and shot while on patrol as a Police Officer.  However waking up to the news at how extensive the damage is, is hard for Bobby.

Single mom Teagan Shaughnessy and her five year old son Lucas have moved from Colorado to North Carolina. Teagan has raised Lucas on her own due to losing her husband before Lucas was born.

Ms Chase has a knack for writing these small town stories filled with characters you instantly love! I loved how Bobby and Teagan’s story was crafted. These two were sizzling all kinds of chemistry between them. Another PERFECTLY written story that has all the feels from start to finish!

Absolutely love it! Loved Bobby and Teagan (and Lucas), such a wonderful read of two people that were brought together for a reason, each with their own need to overcome the challenges and fears in their lives. This was one of those stories that sticks with you long after you finished the book. Very emotional and you definitely want them to find their HEA with each other. Samantha writes such loving and believable stories that really make you excited for the next one.

3.5 stars

This 7th book in the Shaughnessy series and features Bobby, Teagan, and Teagan's five-year-old son.

Samantha Chase did a really nice job creating characters you can root for and connect with. The story is emotional as Bobby struggles with a gunshot injury that could end his career as a police officer and Teagan's move to be closer to her family and a fresh start.

I have enjoyed Samantha Chase's writing in the past and Tangled Up in You is no exception. There are some challenges for both Bobby and Teagan to overcome, but also lots of heart and humor too.

Oh my goodness, this was so good. It tugged at the heart strings and made it soar at the same time. Bobby Hannigan and Teagan Shaughnessy are both strong and independent people who do not, and that should have been DO NOT like to depend on any one for anything but watching these two come together was spectacular. Teagan is a cousin to the Shaughnessy family we all have grown to know and love and has just moved to North Carolina with her young son from Colorado. Bobby, a police officer, suffered a gun shot and now is recuperating and not healing as fast as he would like. When they meet the chemistry is off the charts but Teagan is reluctant to start up anything and wants to be friends. Yea, that doesn't last long, but it was fun watching these two find their way. Definitely a keeper in this series. MORE!

5 Perfect Stars!!!

I was so excited when I heard Bobby Hannigan was getting his own story. We met him in Quinn’s book and their friendship and partnership is rock solid. Until one day on the job changes everything for this man. My heart really hurt for him because I know how much he loves working in law enforcement and for that to possibly be taken from him is not something he’s ever thought about.

Enter into the story Teagan Shaughnessy who’s recently returned to her Carolina hometown with not only her parents, but her everything, her son Lucas. Teagan has had some struggles that started before Lucas is born with the death of her husband, but now she’s back “home” has found a job she loves and potentially a new love interest in Bobby…although she thinks they should be “just friends.” However, that becomes difficult when they both acknowledge the chemistry they have together.

Ms. Chase has done a phenomenal job of engaging me as a reader and really caring and feeling Bobby’s pain as he recovers from his injury and the joy he feels when he spends time with Teagan and Lucas. I love how she doesn’t sugarcoat how hard it is to be a single parent even when Teagan is surrounded by family that loves her!

These characters wiggled their way into my heart and haven’t let go. I LOVE all the Shaughnessy family but for some reason Teagan really resonated with me. Probably because I was raised by a single parent and while I didn’t appreciate it when I was Lucas’s age, I’m in awe of my mom and what she accomplished. Ms. Chase with her words reminded me of all the sacrifices a single mom makes. Add into a sexy policeman and chemistry that can’t be denied and it’s a perfect read!!

Bobby has a reputation with the ladies, but it is more because he hasn’t found his “one” rather than wanting to remain a bachelor. He is a police officer who was critically injured on the job and he has returned to his hometown to face the fact that he may not be able to return to the career he loves.

Teagan along with her five year old son and her parents have moved to town to be near her family and start her job as a school guidance counselor. She has experienced loss in the past and is not looking for love or a relationship.

They meet at a family gathering and have an instant chemistry. Teagan is there for him as he tries to deal with the changes to his life as she has had personal experience with picking up the pieces when tragedy strikes. Bobby knows that they are meant to be and now he just needs to convince Teagan.

This is a heartwarming story with all the feels about love, family and new beginnings.

I love every Samantha Chase book I read and this one didn’t stray! I love the start between Bobby and Quinn. I especially liked Teagan, the single mom, as a single mom, myself. I’m so grateful for Samantha Chase and her gift of writing! Another five star read from her!

So excited to read Bobby's story and it did not disappoint. I could not put it down. Bobby is recovering from a gunshot wound and now his career is in jeopardy as a police officer. Teagan, a single mom has just moved back to Carolina to be with her family, The Shaughnessy's. Bobby and Teagan are both strong willed independent souls but can't deny the sexual chemistry between them. Bobby has been known as being a player and Teagan has not had a relationship since her fiancee died, she has been busy raising Lucas. Can they make this relationship work and find their HEA?

Loved, loved this book. So much emotion, that will leave you smiling. Loved Bobby with Lucas, it made me fall in love with him. Teagan, she took a while to grow on, she was so afraid of loosing Bobby like her fiancee. Loved reconnecting with the Shaughnessy family, a great wrap for the series.

Tangled Up In You is the seventh book in the Shaughnessy Brothers series, however, it is a standalone so you can absolutely read it without reading the others. Bobby and Teagan are brought together when both face life changes, although they are both drastically different they are able to relate the hardships they faced with the changes.

The feelings that these two developed overtime are so real you can't help but smile at times and simply feel along with them. Teagan is a single mom that just returned to the Carolina Coast and Bobby was injured while on duty, together these two will help each other find their way.

The only thing that kept me from giving this one a five star was that it felt slow at times, but I am so glad I stuck with this one until the end because it's a story that will stick with you long after the last page.

First I am so happy to read more about the Shaughnessy family. It was great to catch up on the Shaughnessy brothers and their families. Teagan and her five year old son have moved back to North Caroline. For Teagan Lucas is her whole world after she lost his dad. Teagan is beautiful, smart and challenges Bobby. Bobby is a cop who recently got hurt on the job is having issues trying to get over his injury. His job is his whole life. Bobby is not sure he will ever be able to go back to his job. His life is in limbo and he is grumpy and irritable. Teagan is single mom who has to work 100% harder for everything. Teagan helps Bobby get out of funk. Teagan is not looking for relationship right now. She is not sure she can be with someone who is in harm’s way every day. Bobby feels he has been misunderstood. Bobby realizes he wants to be a dad for Lucas and he wants a family with Teagan. Teagan is afraid of relationship with Bobby. Bobby just wants to make Teagan and Lucas happy. I love when Teagan realizes Bobby is worth the risk. They both rescued each other. .

This is a incredible continuation of The Shaughnessy Brothers Series. It is a very well written story. In the beginning you see Bobby dealing with being injured on the job for the first time and how this effects him. He is living with his parents because he is unable to live on his own. Tegan and her son move back to Carolina to be near family and she meets Bobby at a family cookout.
Throughout the book we continue to see how Bobby deals with his injury, and opens up to Tegan. This is an incredible book. and I thoroughly recommend it.

Tangled Up in You is now one of my favorite Samantha Chase books. Well, every book Samantha writes becomes a favorite of mine because they are so great!

I'm glad that Bobby finally got his story and I loved the chemistry that Bobby and Teagan had throughout the story. Teagan had built up walls around her heart and she thought she would never find love again after losing her first love tragically. And then she met Bobby but she wasn't willing to let him past her security walls.

Or was she? If you love romance, love books that have twists and turns, and love romance than you need to read Tangled Up in You and find out what happens to Bobby and Teagan!

In Tangled Up in You we finally get Bobby Hannigan's story. One split second is ALL it takes to change everything that Bobby thought he knew about himself and his life as he's planned on living it. Teagan is a single mother to a young son who has overcome her own tragedy and adversity. She's moved her and her son back to the Carolina coast to be closer to family as they start the next chapter in their lives. Bobby and Teagan are brought together by circumstances and both feel a spark but neither feel that it's the right time to pursue a relationship. There's something to be said about proximity though and how intertwined their lives really are with all the Shaughnessy's they have in common. Can two people who hate asking for help from anyone learn to rely on each other? Will Quinn let Bobby date his cousin without any interference? Can Teagan learn to stop guarding her heart because of past tragedy? You really need to read this book and go on this journey with them as it's so beautifully written and honest in it's emotions. Ms. Chase is truly the BEST at pulling on our heartstrings and I swear she gets better with EVERY book! I CAN'T wait to read what she writes next as I know THAT it will be AMAZING!! I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion of this book.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me via NetGalley. Tangled Up in You is the seventh book in the Shaughnessy Brothers series. I loved getting to go back into this world and meet these characters again. Bobby and Teegan are probably my favorites of the series. I recommend this series to anyone who likes a good romance

This book is the final installment in the Shaughnessy family series of books, and it is definitely one of my favorites. Bobby Hannigan has been an ancillary character throughout the books and now it is time to tell his story.

Bobby is a police officer who sustains a possible career ending injury, He does not take the news well and makes life miserable for all those who want to reach out to help him.

Teagan Shaughnessy is a cousin of the clan and has moved across county with her son to begin a new job. She is a single mom who lost her fiancé while he was in the military so she has closed herself off from any relationships to avoid dealing with another potential loss. Her focus is on her son and his well-being.

At a family BBQ, their paths cross and sparks fly! There is an instant attraction but can two wounded souls find their way to each to other. Bobby has a reputation of being a “player” and a “love em and leave em” kind of guy so everyone is warning him to tread lightly and be careful with Teagan’s heart. He chaffs at these warnings and wants to prove everyone he can be an upstanding guy and treat her with the respect she deserves.

It is a rough, long and winding road to their HEA but it was worth the ride.

Teagan Shaughnessy moved to a small town in North Carolina along with her parents and son. They now live closer to her uncle and all of her Shaughnessy cousins. She was ready for a change looking forward to her new job and being around so many family members. What she wasn’t looking for was love. So it caught her off guard when she met Bobby Hannigan.
Bobby Hannigan is a police officer and also brother in law to Quinn Shaughnessy. After getting injured he never expects exactly how much it will change his life.
I really loved this story. I love what a strong female Teagan is, she has been through so much, but is a wonderful single mother and does not put up with any crappy from Bobby, which is exactly what he needs. I really wasn’t sure what to expect from Bobby, having seen him in some of the other Shaughnessy books. I love how good Bobby is with kids, that is so sweet, and how kind yet still masculine he is. This story made me laugh, gave me butterflies and melted my heart. There were some sad and emotional parts, but it has a happily ever after and filled me with joy. I am so glad I read this book and I would definitely recommend it!!
