THIS IS BOBBY’S STORY!!!! You guys, I fell a little in love with Bobby from the beginning of the series because he seemed like a good guy who would grow into a great man. He was an awesome if somewhat annoying brother and a polite neighbor and one of the gang. I wanted his story.

So, this is a single mom love story about Teagan, who has raised her son Lucas on her own, with her parents help due to the death of his father. She has guards all around her heart. Bobby is facing a life changing decision due to an injury. Can these two broken hearts find a love together? Then let me tell you about the cutie pie Lucas!!!! Just when you think you have all the questions answered, leave it to a little boy to find the one you didn’t think about!

Love this story and this family. Bring it on.!!!

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me via NetGalley. Tangled Up in You is the seventh book in the Shaughnessy Brothers series and I loved getting to go back into this world and meet these characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Bobby's story!! Years ago Bobby Hannigan moved away from his small town, eager to do the job he loved away from everyone who had known him and his reputation since birth. Now, after being shot off duty, he makes the decision to move back temporarily, bad attitude and all. One of the first people he meets is Teagan Shaughnessy and her son Lucas. He is very smitten with both but oh boy! These two have a lot to overcome! Bad injuries, bad reputations and bad memories are just the beginning.

I loved this! Bobby meets the one girl who isn't instantly charmed and a little boy who totally charms him. It's just what he needs!! I love this series so much and I was very happy to be back with the Shaughnessy's again.

Tangled Up in You is the spicy story of Teagan and Bobby. For those of us that have followed the Shaughnessy family since the beginning, this story felt right. We get a glimpse of the Shaughnessy brothers that we have come to love, all while watching Teagan and Bobby navigate their growing attraction and hot chemistry and ultimately falling in love in a very short period of time.

Teagan is a strong, single-Mom that has suffered through loss and heartache but has come out on the other side and is making a life for herself and her son. Bobby is healing from a gunshot wound and is seemingly mad at the world. Together they save each other creating an amazing happily-ever-after!

Favorite quote – “It was wild and needy and she wanted to climb him like a tree right there in her office.”

Every book I read of Samantha Chase's has me saying this is my favorite one. This was such a wonderful story of two people finding their way after major events. I loved how the character development of Bobby and Teagan. And how they each reflected their insecurities and vulnerabilities, yet tried to hide them from each other and others as well. I felt all their emotions as they each dealt with their personal and relationship issues not only with each other but with friends and family. It was wonderful to see them work through the issues together and learn to communicate with each other. Their chemistry was off the charts too. I couldn't have asked for a better story to show family loyalty, true friendship, and second chance love. This is definitely a must read!!!

Samantha Chase is a phenomenal author. She truly is my favorite author of all time. When you read a Samantha Chase book you get transported in the story and it's as if you are actually in that world she created. Her books are filled with wonderful details. The characters leap off the page and into my heart every time. Samantha Chase has no problem holding her reader's attention. Her characters always have realistic and relatable struggles that every reader can identify with. Her books always leave me with a sense of belonging and wanting more. When Samantha Chase puts pen to paper her words dance off the page and into my heart. Her books leave me with a warm heartswooning feeling. Samantha Chase makes me believe in the magic of love and romance. Samantha Chase always creates enduring heroes that captivate your heart.

I must admit my favorite Samantha Chase series to this day is the Shaughnessy Brother's series. I adore the Shaughnessy family. When I read Tangled Up in You I fell in love with Bobby Hannigan. Bobby is a police officer who is wounded on the job. Bobby's struggle to recover and move forward was amazing. The Shaughnessy family treats Bobby like he is a member of their family. Teagan Shaughnessy is a widowed, single mom and has her own struggles that just pull at my heart. There were so many heartfelt moments and Quinn and Bobby had me laughing. I loved the chemistry Teagan and Bobby have. Teagan's strength is amazing. With the support of her parents she is raising her son and went to school for her Master's. Teagan's son, Lucas, is an adorable and amazing boy. I just adore the relationship Lucas and Bobby have. Tangled Up in You was more than just a romance book. Tangled Up in You was about family, falling in love again, letting go of the past and the road of recovery and healing. I felt so many emotions throughout this story. There never was a dull moment. I laughed and cried and even wanted to slap Bobby on the back of his head and yell "dude get a grip." There were so many moments that just grabbed my heart. Tangled Up in You was full of hillarious banter, undeniable chemistry and amazing characters. I loved getting to catch up on all the Shaughnessy family and where they all are in their lives. Samantha Chase captivated my heart from page one. I read this in one night. I couldn't put it down it was that amazing. Sadly this is the last of the Shaughnessy series. Tangled Up in You is the perfect ending for the series. All the characters are well developed. Tangled Up in You left me with a sense of belonging. I loved Tangled Up in You from beginning to end. I didn't want it to end and was sad when it did. Thank you Samantha Chase for an amazing and heartfelt story.

Bobby and Teagan will have you believing in love after heartache. I loved the flashback in the beginning, with a young Bobby claiming a favor. The story starts with Bobby's struggle after suffering a gunshot wound and not sure he'd be able to recover enough to be given active duty again. When he finds the perfect distraction in Teagan Shaughnessy, you just want to erase all the miles between them so they can be together.

Teagan has a crushing story of her own...when her fiance dies serving their country, she's left a single mom since pregnancy and her first priority has always been her son Lucas. She never thought she could have those feelings for someone again, but doesn't want to put her heart out there, especially for someone lives far away. Their journey to each other is inspiring. The kids and family encouragement (meddling) will keep you in stitches, and you'll find a permanent smile on your face while reading!

5 TANGLED UP STARS!! This author is amazing with her storytelling...I always feels like the characters are part of my family. Bobby and Teagan are no different, these two are perfect. Their story is so loving with all the feels you can ever want. I could not put this book down, I love the Shaughnessy's and I know you will too.

This is the first Shaughnessy Brothers novel I've read, so you'll have to bear with me on this one. I have read the Band on the Run series though, which is a spin off of this series, so I've gotten to see many of the characters sprinkled throughout. The Shaughnessy family is uber involved in each other's business, so many of them make appearances in the Band on the Run series stories. I understand why now, they are a great clan who love one another and share their lives selflessly. This story is a bit different though because it is Bobby Hannigan's story. He is the troubled bad boy about town who is related to the Shaughnessy's through marriage and being a neighbor. The story opens with Bobby calling in the one favor he ever pried from Quinn Shaughnessy and it is hilarious how he got it. What he cashes it in for isn't as funny, but starts this tale of two hearts who need to give and be given a chance for love. Teagan is new on the scene of the Shaughnessy's craziness, since she is a cousin to the clan and her Dad's military service kept them from living closer.I love the whole sense of family this series has. It's more than the Montgomery Brother series has. These guys just make you want to be part of a big family who genuinely care about everyone. Teagan finds out the hard way, there is no pity party with that many family living in a small town and soon realizes she has to own her self doubts and caged heart among them. She slowly un-cages it after much love from family, some hard talks with her mom, and blind faith that she won't have to re-cage it.Bobby is just realizing he isn't the invicible guy he thought he was and that sometimes to get the things you want, you have to work for them and you can't give up at the first obstacle. Ok, maybe he hits a few brick walls. This story really hit home for me, I think, because of my military service and having to watch my husband leave, not knowing if he was going to return. It takes a toll on your heart and I could definitely see myself caging it like Teagan. As usual, Samantha doesn't let us wallow in self pity or heartache for too long. She gives us the HEA we all expect and love. This is definitely a 5 of 5 for me and will be in the running for my Top 10 list. If you love caged hearts finding each other, this one is a must read.

While technically not a Shaughnessy brother (or sister, since Darcy’s book is in this series, too) Bobby Hannigan is has been a part of the family since well before his sister Anna married Aiden Shaughnessy. Longtime fans of the series have seen him in the background of most of the books and whether or not it was the author’s intention, he definitely sparked readers’ attention. But pairing up Bobby with Teagan Shaughnessy, cousin to the NC clan, gathers Bobby into the fold in a whole different and intriguing way.
Teagan brings her child, Lucas, to NC to start a new life at the same time that Bobby’s life and career has hit a rather serious pothole. They are both extremely stubborn but while Bobby is outwardly not dealing well with his injury, Teagan is more self-contained, as a single mother who’s mostly had to rely on herself for the past 6 years (with help from her parents, but even that she doesn’t like to use too often)
Opposites attract, sparks fly, family butts in (I think Aiden’s been looking for a little payback for how Bobby reacted to his and Anna’s relationship)...just the kind of romance I love! And Samantha Chase, as always, delivers a touching, funny, sexy (it’s mostly behind closed doors, for those of you who aren’t into that sort of thing) story of two regular people who get bit by the love bug when they weren’t looking.
As every book in the series, it can be read alone, so new readers can jump right in. Long-time fans like myself will be thrilled at the visits from Shaughnessy family favorites. I’m be sorry to see the series end, but it was a fantastic ride!
My thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own and freely given

Samantha Chase takes us on another fantastic journey of love that is full of family, passion, and emotions. Captivating from beginning to the end.

Bobby Hannigan has been down on his luck since he walked in and was shot in an armed robbery. Bobby just cant catch a break. With the possibility of him losing his ability to perform his job as a policeman, everyday is a grim reminder of what could be his future. Until he wanders over to a barbecue that the Shaughnessy’s are having and comes face to face with Teagan Shaughnessy. Her sassy wit and beauty change his whole outlook, until his arm makes a fool out of him. But Teagan has dealt with a lot more than a bad arm before in her life. Losing her son Lucas’ father before he was born was devastating. But no one has ever caught her attention, until Bobby.

Bobby Hannigan and Teagan Shaughnessy are perfect for each other. A story full of real relationships problems, that will bring all the feels, as these two find their way to a HEA. Loved also getting caught up with the Shaughnessy Family.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Bobby's injury could change his entire life, and he is having difficulties coming to terms with the possibility as well as the changes he is facing physically. His anger and depression were expected. Teagan thinks she can only live a life revolved around her son. She must always be "mom" and never be a woman, girlfriend, or wife. The story felt repeated as she went back and forth often in her feelings and actions. It was a nice read, but I skimmed past her many freakouts over the same issue. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

Just when you think you have read the best Samantha Chase throws us another Shaughnessy to fall in love with but this time it’s Teagan Shaughnessy and her adorable son and I fell hook line and sinker for this pair.
Teagan and her five year old son have moved to North Carolina for a new start, she has found her dream job as a elementary school guidance counselor. Teagan’s life has revolved around her son for tha last five years but now she is back in the same town as her very large family who seem intent on finding romance for her, a relationship is not on the cards for her until she meets Bobby Hannigan at a family barbecue. Bobby is struggling to come to terms with a injury that’s keeping him from returning to a job he loves but can Teagan and her son help him come to terms with the future or will he run in the opposite direction as soon as feelings come into play breaking not only his own heart in the process.......
A couple that feel they can only be friends but as this book unfolds we get to see past the brave faces this couple are hiding behind we get to know the real people and we get to fall in love with them as they fall in love with each other. Every time I pick up a book in this series I feel like I’m going home and I’m catching up with long lost family and friends. This story has it all, love, friendships, family and some seriously swoon worthy moments. Another great read from one of my go to authors.

I loved Tangled Up In You by Samantha Chase. I fell in love with Bobby and my heart hurt for him and his struggles trying to cope with being shot and having to rely on help from others. He is a strong alpha male, and needing to depend on others does not set well with him.

Teagan is an amazingly strong single mother who has been through a lot. She understands and validates Bobby’s feelings in a way no else does, and that draws him to her more. Their chemistry jumps off the pages. It’s more than insta-lust. There is a strong connection neither can deny. I loved her phone call to him telling him she needed him.

I loved their relationship. Felt their struggles. Loved Lucas and his relationship with Bobby. And when Bobby received the news he never wanted to get, I loved that is was Quinn who kicked him out of his head and opened his eyes to what needed to be done.

This is an emotional, heart-warming story that I’m sure I will read again!

Second chance at life and love. Teagan and Bobby are a fun couple. Life hasn't been easy and Samantha Chase catches the ups and downs beautifully in the couple. While it is book 7 it would easily be a standalone book. I could not put the book down.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it

Really sweet, very hot and quite beautiful. Wonderful characters with dialogue that's realistic. I loved this story.
Once I began I couldn't put it down.
I'm a fan of single parent love stories and this is one of the best.

“Never too late to find love, 4 stars”

Teagan is a boss on her own. She’s been killing it as a single mom to her son all while finishing up school. Now she’s moved across the country along with her parents to be closer to extended family. What she never saw coming was Bobby. No man has made her turn her head in the way he does. Will she be able to give both him and her son the attention they deserve?

Bobby has never settled down. Its not that he doesn’t want to its just he hasn’t found the right woman. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t been having fun in the process of finding Mrs. Right. Then he meets Teagan and her son and he knows. He will do whatever he needs to in order to make her his. Is he up for the fight?

I enjoyed Teagan and Bobby. The chemistry was undeniable. I loved how Bobby was with her son. The family dynamic was amazing all throughout the story. The only thing I wasn’t really big on was at times I found Teagan to be a little wishy-washy. But I know others will see her as just cautious. If you take a chance on Tangled up in You, I think you will enjoy it.

Perfect Beach Read!
Bobby Hannigan and Teagan Shaughnessy meet when both their lives are in transition but, despite having so many unknowns, their connection feels right.
Using the beautiful Carolina Coast as her backdrop, Samantha Chase beautifully crafted a light-hearted but emotional story of finding new love and yourself. The summer setting combined with a longer timeline, I’m really loving stories that give us more than a few weeks and then jump to the epilogue set in the future, makes this book feel deeper and richer while also making it a satisfying lighter read.
It was so fun to catch-up with all the Shaughnessy siblings and spouses as well as the Band on the Run couples but Tangled Up In You can very much be read as a stand-alone for those of you new to the Shaughnessy world, but trust me you’ll want to dive in after reading this one!

I received a complimentary review copy of this book but all opinions are my own.

Loved this story. Love Samantha Chase's writing. It's a great story with all the feels. You'll laugh, cry and sigh. Well done. I'm sorry this is the last Shaughnessy book.

Oh that Bobby Hannigan! I just knew I was going to fall in love with him despite him being a grumpy bear sometimes! He does have some legitimate reasons. I love this series so much and was so happy to hear there would be a book about Bobby. I think I've been waiting for it since all of the crap between him and Quinn when Quinn and Bobby's sister Anna started dating.
Samantha Chase, you really know how to pair the perfect people together! Bobby was wounded and is now having a really difficult time recovering and rehabbing so he could return to the police force in the same capacity. The PD has been his life and without that he feels useless. Enter Teagan Shaughnessy. I really admire Teagan's strength and ability to push forward and devote her life to her son especially after losing his father. She and her son are everything Bobby never knew he needed or wanted and so much more. Falling in love was not in his plans. Teagan may not have been looking to fall in love either, but she did and hard. Sometimes life has a funny way of giving us what/who we need when we need it the most, even if things are not always as easy as we hope/want them to be.
Love Bobby & Teagan! Love this story! Love the Shaughnessy family!!
