A Dangle A Day by Angela Porter is chock a block full of doodling fun. There is your basic introduction and tools needed which could be as little as a pencil and paper. There are planner dangles, Capital Letter dangles with four examples of each letter along with number examples. There are dangle designs for every season which encompasses an entire chapter. There are dangles for every month and virtually every holiday. One of the wonderful benefits of this book is that the lower half of each page is for your dangling pleasure and practice. For those who like to doodle and draw and play this book is terrific! Great for grownups and kids alike. Well Done!

I have been tryting to learn to draw and paint. So I took a chance to read this book and thought that it might help me. It did. The theory and ideas on this book did taught me and gave ideas to me. Hence, find this book helpful even though the art style is not really my kind of style.
This book will make a great companion for those who love journaling I think :)

Very cute book - if you like lettering in a journal or sketchbook, you'll get lots of ideas here. The supplies, page layout, and color options augment monthly and seasonal graphics. Whimsical drawings and alphabets will make you smile - and add zip and life to your bullet journal or letters.

I’ve never heard of a Dangle, but I love doodles and colourings so on that basis this book definitely appealed to me! A Dangle is beautiful string of charms you can use to decorate all sorts of things. I love diaries, notebooks and journals so this sounded like just the kind of thing I could do to decorate my books!

The cover of the book lures you in straight away with its bright and beautiful colourings! Opening the book, you find it is full of helpful hints and tips on how to get started, including a useful recommended materials list! There are lots of colour pictures of designs and ideas that are all ready for you to try, complete with clear step by step instructions. The designs are amazing, and whilst anything I would try and draw would never look anywhere as good as these, I’d certainly have fun trying!

Journaling and doodling are really fun things to do, and this book will make it so much more fun. There are so many designs to try, it would keep you occupied for weeks, and when you’ve finished trying the ones in the book, the possibilities are endless when designing your own! Would highly recommend!

A Dangle a Day
Lettering Alphabets and Seasonal Designs with Charms
by Angela Porter

Recently I have been thinking about creating beautiful journals and have found myself reading books on calligraphy, doodling, lettering and more so when this book popped up I had to find out what Dangles are all about. And, I did. I have some new ideas on how to embellish the journal I will begin in January and also have a new idea that would see me creating some empty dangles on card stock or paper to send via snail mail to my granddaughters so that they would have the fun of coloring them in any way they would like to. I can see this book used for art projects in school or by artists or those who keep personal journals whether in bullet or diary form.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Race Point Publishing for the ARC – This is my honest review.
