Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.

I’m really sorry about this and hope that it won’t affect you allowing me to read and review your titles in the future.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Natalie.

I received a copy of this arc from NetGalley for an honest review. A nice light, beach read for those looking from an escape right now. Nothing to difficult to read, but also nothing really exciting either.

A feel good romance following lives of three friends Natalie, Tessa and Ama, partners in 'Wedding Belles' business. They all have different ideas on what love is, but deep down they are more similar than they realize.
‘If you’re not the one’ is a part of a series but it reads as a standalone really well. The characters are well-developed – we get to see their background and romantic history and how it influenced their current views. We also see how they evolve during the time covered by the novel. Natalie discovers that her childhood friend Brayden is the person who knows and understands her the best and, although she has been rejecting his feelings for years, he might be the person she needs the most. Ama wants to be sure of her feelings before she can say ‘Yes, I will’. Her family approval matters the world to her. Tessa, the most level-headed and reserved out of the three friends, is reflecting on the meaning of second chances in love.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC provided in exchange for an honest opinion.

This title has been on my NetGalley shelf for a while so about a month ago, I decided I needed to read it. For some reason, I just could not get into it. However, I dug back into it today and am happy that I did. This was my first time reading Laura Briggs and I didn't know until after finishing this that she had written previous books about two of the three main characters: Natalie, Tessa, and Ama. If You're Not the One is Natalie's story about their wedding planning business, The Wedding Belles, Natalie's efforts to become a designer, and her revelations about Brayden who annoyed her with his crush since they were young. Thrown in with everything about Natalie are subplots about Tessa, Ama, and their latest client/bride-to-be, Harper.

First, I think I struggled with getting into this book because there was just so much going on. Plus, I didn't realize there were previous books that would have provided some back-stories. Characterization is a huge element in how I feel about a book, but there were several times while reading this that I felt the reader was getting way more information than necessary to enjoy and understand the novels and characters.

It took some time for me to really feel invested in the characters, however, once I did - I was all in. Their lives were so cluttered and crazy with other careers separate from The Wedding Belles, romantic issues, family issues, and so on. Even secondary characters all seemed to have 2 or more jobs, plus tons of hobbies or obligations. With all of the details about every part of their lives, I think that's why the novel felt overloaded and unnecessarily long. But anyway, once I warmed up to the characters and figured out what was going on, I found myself cheering them on, rooting for them, and celebrating with them as if I were a part of the story itself.

The best part of the novel for me was Natalie's emotional growth. The more time she was around Brayden again, the more she began to not only soften but become more compassionate and less selfish. I wasn't sure if I wanted him to tell her off for being such a bitch all of their lives or if I wanted them to ride off into the sunset together, but everything worked out as it should and I was happy not only with Natalie's ending, but also with how things played out for Tessa, Ama, and Harper.

If You're Not the One probably isn't my favorite read as of late, but I truly enjoyed this book and am very glad I gave it another chance after giving up on it before. It's not a quick read, but you will truly feel connected with the characters once finished and it will leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling!

This is the second book I have read by Laura Briggs, and have to admit it was a bit confusing as it continues the story of Tessa, Natalie and Ama who run a wedding planning business. I had to remind myself it was a different book to One winters day.

The story tells us about Natalie in this book and I have to say it was a bit of a slow read at the beginning, but I persevered as I enjoyed the authors previous book One winters day.

It is slightly predictable with the characters all having different views on love, however all the characters are likeable and entertaining.

If you love romance then this is the ideal book for you.

A wonderful easy breezy fun read by author Laura Briggs, the book brings the 3 women in the wedding planning business back together with Tessa the planner, Ama the caterer and Natalie, the designer.

A third book in the series, this book too brought a smile on my face, as the friendship between all the three ran strong, in spite of them having different views on love. The warmth between them rose up the pages to make me long for my girls too.

This book dealt with Natalie and her love problems, though the other girls too have their roles to play. Along with that, there was the bride to be, Harper, was marrying for the wrong reasons. The book brought out all the emotions, happiness and tears, author Laura Briggs is good at that.

The only tiny niggle that wormed through my mind was I found certain parts a bit slow, rhythm felt slightly disjointed. I found my mind wandering and had to skim read those parts

Overall, it was then a fun read.

This one originally confused me because when I received and ARC from NetGalley it had a different title. I can't recall what it was but the title they went with seemed more fitting for the story. This story has three main characters and they're all uniquely themselves. All three women come from vastly different families and were raised with different mindsets on love and life. They come together in both friendship and business at an-up-and-coming wedding planning company.

Each of the three women are at different stages in their romantic relationships and it was a joy to watch them all unravel and come together. The overall theme of the novel for me was the idea that true love that's meant to be will always conquer all and overcome all obstacles. Life is short and is meant to be lived in love. If you're not with the one you love how can you ever truly be living?

This was an easy romance read. The three friends run a wedding business together. Natalie is the wedding dress designer who doesn’t believe in the happily ever after. She’s dating Chad who provides her with stability, but throughout the book she questions if that’s enough to commit to someone. Is it common for relationships to go stale before marriage? There’s Brayden, a childhood friend who’s been over the moon with Natalie from childhood. She’s flattered and annoyed by his unending pursuit of her but she’s self-conscious about his nerdy look and his choice in wardrobe style (she’s wondering whether this would affect the way she’s perceived as a professional designer). There are many complications throughout the book making it hard to lean more on one side when choosing the suitable partner. The story focuses more on developing the individual stories for each character versus focusing on a close friendship discussing the pros and cons of their relationships and what the next step should be. I haven’t read any of Lara Briggs’ previous books and find that this works perfectly as a stand-alone. I enjoyed this book and the character’s honesty. I love a good romance novel and look forward to reading more by this author.

A heartwarming, escapist romantic novel for fans of Elin Hilderbrand, Nora Roberts and Nancy Thayer.

That’s a little misleading I felt. This set the expectation high and unfortunately Laura Briggs couldn’t meet them.

The premises of the story is three friends set up a wedding business, each have their own romantic woes and are supposedly strong women. The story feels like it’s set up about a strong friendship bond and the challenges of finding love.

If anything it was disjointed, the flow between chapters and bouncing back and forth with each characters made it extremely difficult to get a fixed understanding of the characters individually and as a friends.

It felt like the author was attempting to put so much into the novel that she would have been better splitting it out and writing a series about the three friends individual journey. I probably would have preferred that over this.

**Thanks to the author and netgalley for the advanced copy of this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**

A fun fabulous book all about friendship and love!

This is the third book in this delightful series about the Bells... three friends who run a wedding planning business together... Tessa the planner, Natalie the designer, and Ama The caterer... three lovely women, with three unique voices, and three different views on love... this is the third book in the series, however it could be read as a standalone, but I’d venture to guess you won’t want to miss out on any of the time you could spend with these girls....

This time we have Natalie’s story, sort of... what is unique to this series is even though one of the girls might have a little more focus we still get to spend enough time with the other girls and not every story ends with a HEA... this is a romance... after all it is all about weddings, however really the strongest and best part of the series is the friendship between these three.... these are girls you want to be friends with, have lunch with, share your deep dark secrets with... and reading the book is like spending the afternoon with your girlfriends....

In this book we got all the glitz and glam of an island destination wedding... The bride Harper is marrying a millionaire, but is she marrying for the right reasons? Is this a marriage made of love or money? We also got to watch Natalie struggle with the fact that she is falling for two different guys... Natalie doesn’t really believe in romance, so she’s not sure how she’s got herself in this situation... Tessa and Ama have their own love problems mainly family and miscommunication.... so will the Bells soon be planning a wedding for one of their own? Such a fun series, I definitely cannot wait for the next book! I always hate reaching the end because I know it will be some time before I get to spend time with these wonderful characters!

A delightful story that will put a smile on your face and some warmth in your heart! Absolutely recommend!

🎵🎵🎵 song running through my head! Well this series is all about weddings and friendship, but the weddings song seem to be running through my head more!Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get married
Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get married
Gee, I really love you
And we're gonna get married
Goin' to the chapel of love
Spring is here, the sky is blue, whoa-oh-oh
Birds all sing as if they knew
Today's the day we'll say "I do"
And we'll never be lonely anymore
Because we're goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get married
Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get married
Gee, I really love you
And we're gonna get married
Goin' to the chapel of love
Bells will ring, the sun will shine, whoa-oh-oh
I'll be his and he'll be mine
We'll love until the end of time
And we'll…

What a treat this pleasant and delightful romance was, from the best-seller author, Laura Briggs. I have read a couple of Briggs’ novels before, so I knew when I chose to read this that I would be in for a treat.

Although this book is the third in a series of stories about three women running a wedding planning business together, I thought this story worked fine as a standalone. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about the Wedding Belles - the three friends with their wedding planning business. Tessa is the planner, Natalie the designer, and Ama the caterer. Each have their own, unique voice and different opinions on love.

The protagonist in this third book is Natalie, the wedding dress designer. Natalie isn’t particularly romantic, herself. She doesn’t believe in true love, or destiny and she thinks that people are just plain lucky if they happen to find that certain someone. It’s coincidence and nothing more.

As a wedding dress designer though, she knows she has to keep these feelings under wraps. Even if she’s suspicious that Harper, the bride she’s currently working with, might secretly agree with her. However, Natalie’s own love life is not straight-forward. Her family and friends are so keen for Natalie to ‘settle down’ that she comes to an agreement with her casual boyfriend, Chad, to call a halt on their constant speculation. But what of boy-next-door, Brayden, who has been smitten with Natalie since they were at High School together?

For me, the greatest part of IF YOU’RE NOT THE ONE is the friendship between these three young women. These are girl-friends with whom you want to share your innermost secrets, to be there for you, or to party or have lunch with.

I love that Laura Briggs writes with flair, which helped to make this novel as wonderful as it is. This book will be highly enjoyable for anyone who loves a good romance. Overall, it’s been an incredibly entertaining story and I very much recommend it.

Thanks to NetGalley, Bookouture and Laura Briggs for my free ARC, in exchange for my voluntary review.

I liked the book and the main storyline, but I really wished it was much shorter and tighter. I felt like it would never get over and it’s rare I feel like that about a book. I also hoped the book paid a little more attention than it did to the friendship between the three women. It didn’t feel like they were very close. I was hoping to read a book about strong bonds and female friendship, but it didn’t feel like it. Anyway, it was a light, clean read if you are not looking for anything too heavy. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

This book was a light romantic read, it was perfect for a snowy winter day by the fireplace. I love books by Ms. Briggs and look forward to reading more of her books,

I read and reviewed the previous book in this series One Winter’s Day by Laura Briggs which is based around three friends who run a wedding planning business.

We return to Natalie, Ama, and Tessa just as a huge opportunity comes their way. Harper Lucas is a bride to be with a millionaire fiance, and she wants the girls to plan their massive society wedding. Natalie is given the task of designing Harper’s dress but her own love life is far from simple. Her family and friends are so desperate for Natalie to ‘settle down’ that she comes to an agreement with Chad to fake a serious relationship, to put a stop to the endless speculation. However, looming in the background is Brayden, who has been smitten with Natalie since High School, despite her attempts to put him off.

All the girls are independent minded with great work ethics and huge aspirations. Consequently, the girl’s love lives are not always the main focus of the story. I enjoyed reading about all the ins and outs of planning weddings and the enormous pressure to get things perfect. The author describes some amazing locations, mouthwatering food, and exquisitely designed garments.

The writing flows nicely, and it was thought-provoking with an enjoyable story and captivating characters.

‘If You’re Not the One then why does my soul feel Glad today?’
Anyone else think of Daniel Bedingfield’s song when they saw the title? Probably showing my age now haha.

We are back with the gang Natalie, Tessa, Ama, and of course Blake, where the Wedding Belles are doing what they do best. Of course things are still rocky for them where relationships are concerned, but they’re trying their best to do what’s right for their own lives, instead of what’s right for those around them.
I cannot fault Laura Briggs’ level of romance at all. This author certainly knows how to get her characters thinking with their hearts, be unlucky in love, as well as being able to bring romance to the forefront of the storyline in a way that allows readers to relate to their choices.
I did enjoy catching up with the gang again, and I loved having my tastebuds tickled by the scrumptious descriptions of mouthwatering delights. Yes. My stomach rumbled….more than once.

However I did feel as though the storyline was unnecessarily padded out at times which meant that I probably wasn’t as enthralled as I would have hoped.
All in all, ‘If You’re Not the One’ is an ideal read for romantics everywhere and what perfect story to pick up this Valentines.

I’m not really sure where to start other than to say that I was so happy to be catching up with the Wedding Belles once again. It’s safe to say that I was taken on quite a journey wondering if there would be any happy ever afters for this fabulous trio. Laura Briggs has created three wonderful characters in Tessa, Natalie and Ama and with each book it has just felt as if I’m catching up with old friends. All three characters are different yet compliment each other so well as they work together in their business planning weddings. Although this book is part of a series I would say in a way this book works as a standalone so please don’t let that put you off picking up a copy. However as usual to get a full character background it might be best starting with book one. What I will say is that all of their stories are explored along with giving you enough detail to enjoy the book without any confusion. Plus it’s a wonderful series so definitely worth picking up a copy 😉

In If You’re Not the One you get to catch up with the Wedding Belles love lives, both the highs and the lows but also meet Harper as they plan her wedding. I’m trying to be as vague as I can regarding the plot because I would hate to give anything away. However there are plenty of complications and tangled relationships to sort out before the final pages. At times this book isn’t necessarily the most fast paced but what it did instead was pull me into the characters lives and made me care about them. Laura Briggs builds the story up carefully ensuring that I felt that all important emotional connection. Along with each plot strand making me smile, sigh and pretty much be just over the moon with the outcomes! There may have been a few happy tears especially in Natalie’s case.

The ending well what a perfect and beautiful way to finish the story, leaving me all warm and cosy as if I was experiencing it right there with them.

If You’re Not the One has it all romance, friendships and a gorgeous heartwarming quality!

Natalie is a wedding dress designer but doesn’t believe in true love or destiny. She is partner with two other women in a wedding planning business- Wedding Belles. Tessa actually began the business after she bought an old Victorian house.Blake was a contractor who worked on the house to turn it into y=the work space.home that tessa wanted. Natalie was a college friend of tessa’s and became the wedding dress designer and consultant. Ama joins to be the baker and food consultant. Natalie and Ama also have side business they are involved in. In Natalie’s case she was preparing for her first show of original designs. Than the Wedding Belles take on a big society wedding of the year for travel agent Harper Lucas and her fiance Brett. They are having an island destination wedding but Brett is never there to make any suggestion or decisions which is unusual. Natalie wonders- especially with her non-belief in true love- if Harper’s heart is really bretts or if she was marrying him for the perks of his wealth and social position. Natalie os seeing brayden but than Chad comes back into Natalie’s life. She had been with him before but with him back around all the feelings she thought were dead and gone were coming back. Natalie os tore between the two men in her life and know they both deserve her honesty.
I had mixed feelings for this book. I liked seeing all three women again and what was going on in their lives. But I felt it fragged at times and was predictable. Yet I still enjoyed this book as it wasn’t a bad romance . I just wouldn’t reread it again and this wasn’t a favorite of mine. Which is fine but I count his in on how I rate a book. I chuckled at the business Natalie was in for supposedly not believing in true love and fate. I did enjoy the characters but I still had mixed feelings about this book.

Natalie is a wedding gown designer who doesn't believe in what she making. True love is a myth to her. She is helping Harper with the wedding of her dreams. Natalie is sure that Harper secretly feels the same. As plans for the wedding develop Natalie is unsure of her love life is Chad the man she is meant to spend her life with or is it Brayden the boy next door. Will the wedding go on as planned? If there is hope for the cynical Natalie then there's hope for every woman. This was a sweet romantic book. I love books that have all your questions answered at the end.

If you want an easy to read, with all the pleasant lovey romance feels that Laura Briggs brings then this will be an ideal book for you. I have read a few from Laura in the past so know what to expect and can judge when to read them depending on my mood and depth of concentration required.

This was previously known as You Can’t Hurry Love which made it a bit confusing when I knew it should be a follow on book in a series. However once I found out it was If You’re Not the One and then remembered the previous books to get my mind back into that story-line I was ok and began to enjoy it.

Laura always writes with ease which makes her characters likeable and believable, the situations are practical enough to allow the reader to understand and feel as though they could actually be in that situation instead of a far flung out of this world scenario. We are back with the wedding planners, the three ladies have worked hard at their business to make it successful. There comes a point where each person has to decide what the basis of marriage is, are you going for the super rich guy or the friendly boy next door?

I have read a few books where women plan or host weddings but this series follows through the whole procedure, includes the families and perhaps answers a few questions along the way. I may be a bit too old (or miserable) to really care who marries who any more possibly because I have read so much chick lit/romance in my time. This will however be highly enjoyable for anyone who loves romance and possibly a younger audience who are just discovering it. Overall it’s been an entertaining story and one highly suitable to pop in your suitcase to read while on holiday.

I read and reviewed voluntarily all opinions are entirely my own. Thanks to the author, publisher, netgalley and Noelle for my ARC.

I would like to thank Bookouture and Noelle Holten for asking me to review this book and for arranging the blog tour. The cover of If You're Not The One is very calm and relaxing to look at and is what I first noticed about the book then I read the blurb...well what can I say, I was hooked.
Working at Wedding Belles a shop were all you wedding needs are met, you would think you would need to be a romantic person who believes in love and all that jazz. Well not for Natalie who does not believe. Her feelings are all over the place and her former colleagues lives are not much better. All three girls have their own emotions and issues to deal with while planning this wedding.
I adore a well written book around a wedding. So many emotions happen around weddings and so much drama. Laura has brought all of this to her story and it really was a delight to read.
A perfect, refreshing read for me.
