Loved Ronnie and Jack from page one. (Well Jack from Driven to Distraction) The chemistry was off the charts and you couldn't help but want Jack to rescue Ronnie when at the same time you want him to let her work it out. Their struggle made the story so much better. Howler and Peanut stole my heart in this story, loved those two. Great read and I continue to love the Crews family!!

Ronnie is a badass with a attitude.....she’s kind of stand offish until you break thru her outer shell. Jack is the gentle but deadly type. And with the help of howler and peanut he breaks thru Ronnie’s shell. This book has just the right amount of twist and turns to keep it fun and the pages turning. I can’t wait for the next book.

A romance and a mystery. When your boss's decide you need a little muscle for the job, and he just happens to be everything she could want, she just doesn't know it yet. Now her new partner will need to show her he has staying power all while trying to figure out why he senses danger. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader copy and this is my.honest review.

I loved this story! Lori had me right from the start with Ronnie’s spunk and the first meeting between her and Jack was so fun. The attraction between Ronnie and Jack couldn’t be denied and the journey to their HEA was challenging, entertaining and so very satisfying. The mystery/danger part of the story was handled really well, too. I received an ARC for my honest review, which is if you want a story that has fun, suspense and heat look no further Slow Ride delivers!

Slow Ride is the 2nd book in a series, however you do not need to read the 1st book to understand what is happening in the story. I enjoyed this book. It is an easy read with a lot of turns that makes you wonder what might happen next. I received an ARC from NetGalley in return for an honest review of this book. It was a good story and I am anxious for the next in the series.

Slow Ride
The next book in the Road To Love series.
Ronnie is in the small town to meet Jack. (Brodie’s Brother from Driven to Distraction) Ronnie’s employer seems to think she needs help collecting artifacts. Ronnie isn’t happy and likes to work alone. Enter Jack Crews and the sparks start to fly.

Ronnie is snarky, spunky, fearless and tells it like it is, but there are some baggage from her past that has made her build walls around herself to keep from being emotionally hurt again.....Jack, calm, polished confident, sexy and shows his inner Alpha male with Ronnie. Jack knows he can break down that wall Ronnie has around her. Between him, his family and of course Howler and peanut he will take that wall down brick by brick. In the meantime, there is an evil predator who has eyes on Ronnie.

Edge of your seat, hot and smexy panty melting H, strong, vulnerable, cheeky h and all the feels you expect from Ms. Foster. Loved it!

This was an arc book that I had received! This was only the second book by Lori Foster! Oh my goodness did I love this book. I read most of it in one day. I am going to go and find any others in this series to read. I’m hooked! I highly recommend this book!

A wonderful addition to the Road to Love series!!! Ronnie Ashford has been tasked by her employers to hire a courier to help her pick up the oddities her they buy, a courier that neither needs or wants. She can take care of herself and doesn’t need or want the slick Jack Crews in her life. After an interesting meet at the bar in town, Jack is ready to spend more time with the prickly Ronnie. Things start to happen quickly as Ronnie seems to be the target of malevolence and Jack is doing everything in his power to not only protect her but to also break down the walls she’s built around herself. This is a great series, I was kind of surprised that Ronnie essentially had the same job as Mary (in Driven to Distraction) but thankfully it wasn’t a repeat of the first book. I have to say my favorite character is Howler, Brodie’s dog, he is absolutely adorable in his mothering of Peanut. I cannot wait for Charlotte’s story! *I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.*

Jacks story was good, not as good as Brody's but I still enjoyed this. Its a little slower then the first one, am looking forward to Charlotte's story.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I was excited to dig into the next book in this series. Veronica "Ronnie" Ashford was here to meet this driver, get him to decline the job and get back to work. Meeting Jack Crews was not in her plan nor was the chemistry she found between them. Ronnie was used to being along and refused to be dependent on anyone that is until Jack Crews walked into her life. Slowly Jack shows Ronnie that not only can he be trusted but his family can as well. When Ronnie is being threatened Jack refused to let her do this alone. Wonderful story of love, trust and family.

I couldn’t wait to read Jack’s story. Wondered who would capture his eye and what she would be like. I’m not sure if Ronnie is who I imagined. She was hard edged and very capable. At first, I wasn’t sure if I even liked her. But the more I got to know her and her backstory, I liked her more and more. Jack was very patient, which is what Ronnie needed. It was great to get updated on Brodie, Charlotte, Mary, Ros, and especially Howler. Can’t wait for Charlotte’s story.

When her family turned their backs on Veronica Ashford, she grew her tough exterior to survive. When her is pick and delivery services become more dangerous, her bosses decide it's time to bring in the brothers of Mustang Transports, in particular one Jack Crews. Determined to keep things strictly business, that is out the window when Ronnie and Jack can’t deny their attraction to each and they draw closer as danger surrounds them.
Book two in the Road to Love series is absolutely one to read.

Intriguing story about a gal that's a loner who gets thrown into a framily that she's not sure she can handle. Lots of twists that will keep the pages turning. With the help of dogs and kitten she finally finds love.

Ronnie Ashford is a lone wolf, well equipped to take care of herself. Sometimes a girl just needs a distraction on a long, lonely night and she meets a likely candidate at a neighborhood bar she's visiting. She gets more than she bargained for when she finds out he's Jack Crews, the bodyguard and ride along person she's there to do business with. Jack is very attracted to Ronnie's brain and independence. He just needs to convince her it's okay to rely on him to have her back.

This is a wonderful new read from Lori Foster that will please old and new fans alike. It's a little bit of mystery and romance that is hard to put down.

Lori Foster really knows how to deliver mystery, intrigue, awesome family connections interesting side characters and hot steamy chemistry between the lead characters and the HEA that I love. Ronnie has had some trauma in her life and has walls up and a tough exterior to protect herself. Jack sees right through that and is attracted to her instantly. As they work together to collect oddities for the twins they begin to realize something is “off” and seems to be stalking Ronnie. I won’t reveal more but this book is a standalone that draws you in and won’t let you go until you’ve finished reading it. I adore Lori’s love of animals and that is shown in this book. Another awesome 10 star book!!!!

Lori Foster has delivered two very different main characters. Ronnie has built a wall around herself due to past experiences, so she is tough on the outside, but fragile inside. Jack Crews seems to be a quiet, polite, conservative man until something sets him off and then he goes totally alpha. I loved both these characters and the chemistry between them. Happily, the Crews family with their dog, Howler, are all in the book, and any book with Howler touches my heart.

This book follows Driven to Distraction but works well as a standalone.

I received an ARC from NetGalley, and this is my honest review.

I was disappointed that the storyline was so similar to book 1, Road to Distraction. Although the characters are different the setting is the same in Slow Ride as it was in Driven to Distraction. I realize the story revolves around two brothers and their business, but there were just too many similarities between the two couples and their stories. I'm sure courier/delivery services deal with all sorts or clients, however to have two very similar situations (working for a client who collects oddities from strange characters) was just too cut and dried. They are stand-alone novels so if reading just Slow Ride without having first read Road to Distraction, my rating would be 4 stars. Great character evolution and the suspense as to who and why, Ronnie is being stalked kept my interest. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this story.

Love Lori's books. This series is so much fun. I love family style books and they is always an animal in all of them. I wish mine behaved hang as well as those in the books lol. The only thing I want crazy about was Ronnie. She wasn't my favorite main character. I'm all for tough independent work but she was just a little much for me.

Ronnie has a job to do and her bosses decided she needs some muscle for protection. In walks Jack. They have chemistry but due to Ronnie's prickly attitude things are slow going in the romance department. Her job is odd and it leads them into some strange but clichéd situations that help to cement their working and romantic relationship. The jobs were strange and therfore it made the storyline hard for me to believe so I didn't enjoy it as I have many of Lori's other books. I received an ARC from Netgalley and this is my honest review.

OMG, Ronnie and Jack are just as great as Brodie and Mary were, and we get more road trips! Ronnie was basically tossed aside by her family, and has made her own way, in her own way, dealing with things the best she can. Jack has his mom, Brodie and Charlotte, plus his issues with his dad, but his family comes first. These two seem like opposites, especially to Ronnie, but that makes everything all the better.

Ronnie also appears to have someone watching her, but who? Her father? Her sister? The kidnapper from her past? A past business associate? How will she and Jack handle this development, if there really is something going on?
