I read the blurb and thought this one would be a good read. It wasn't a terrible read but not great or memorable for me. To be honest I skimmed through a lot of it.

A second chance romance that kept you guessing what went wrong and how it couldn’t have been right the first time.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet, sexy romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

Honestly, I just didn't like it. I almost didn't finish it. This is the first time reading this author's work.

"Our demons only drag us down if we give them the power to do so."

This story had a different set up how it was written and it was a bit more rememberable than book 1, but maybe that's because I always have a soft spot for Scottish accented characters.

This time around is it is Cecelia to get a second chance at love when she bumps in to her ex Colin. I did like Colin and Cecelia together and how the story was played out here.

Even though this series hasn't completely wowed my, I do like the connection between the friends and excited for Heather's book then hopefully we also get Seraphina's books

This was a quick, sexy read about two people who had given love a chance years ago but it ended badly, are thrown together once again. They will have to finally talk about what happened all those years ago and break down the walls they both put up and give one another chance. A great read if you are looking for something quick. Wish there was a little more about their journey but still enjoyed it.

Cecelia can’t believe who just sat beside her on the plane, her ex-love Colin. He is the one person she never wants to see again but also wants with everything in her. He left her at the altar years ago believing she did horrible things without ever giving her the chance to explain. Now she just wants him to leave her alone.

Colin cannot believe his luck in sitting next to Cece, he has never forgotten her and feels like they need to clear the air. But she refuses to give him the chance to talk to her. The one thing he knows though is he still loves her and will do what he needs to get her back.

As they finally talk to one another about what happened all those years ago, they being to let their walls down and see that maybe they have a chance at happiness. But will they be able to trust one another again?

This is very much a vacation read.
No great brain strain with a nice warm ending.
The characters did leave a little bit to be desired though.

Colin and Cecelia’s story is written with really relatable characters. Definitely some LOL moments as well moments that will hit you right in the feels. The snippets of the past really worked. It was like getting awesome little nuggets of insight. Lovely to see/hear from Abby and Jordan from Bad Night Stand and to hear how their family is doing. Great camaraderie between Cecelia, Abby, Bec, Seraphina, and Heather. The epilogue definitely has me looking forward to Heather’s story.

I just couldn't get into this one. It felt long and drawn out and I couldn't connect with the characters.

A second chance romance that fans of the genre will love.

For some, the story will seem familiar and is wrought with drama. However, the characters are multidimensional and interesting despite the villains being not only over the top, but cliche as well. The leads chemistry was palpable but their misunderstanding could have been avoided had they just been open and honest with each other, wait scratch that, had they even talked to each other. This is frustrating for intelligent readers who are annoyed by games and childish behavior.

Second Chance Romance. Dual POV.

I remember reading a preview for this book at the end of Bad Night Stand (which was a really good book), I've been looking forward to this release.

CeCe and Colin's story was told in both past and present, we got to see how they got together and see how hard they loved each other.
This is one of those stories where one of the character's family plays a significant part in the plot. Although I'm not a huge fan of miscommunications being a downfall for a couple, I'm always left screaming at my reading device all like, "WHY DON"T THEY JUST TALK ABOUT IT!". So other than that - I really enjoyed their story. I love the writing style of Elise Faber, like Bad Night Stand, I laughed a lot while reading.

I see she's dropped some hints for future books, I'll be keeping an eye out for her future releases.

This book was like a perfect rom-com and was just fabulous. Totally unputdownable. The characters were just spectacular and the story really flows beautifully throughout the whole book. Loved it! Totally recommend

Cecilia decided to take a vacation when her friend and boss gave her a ticket to travel. She was sitting in first class and try to enjoy her vacation, what she didn’t expect to see was her ex-fiancee seating next to her. She couldn’t believe she was facing Colin. He broke her heart into million pieces when she left her at the alter. She never expected to see him again until now. For Colin this was his opportunity to win her again and for Cecilia this was closer for her.
Cecilia met Colin when she was traveling Europe against her parents wishes. She never expected to fall in love. However, her first love didn’t last enough. Colin couldn’t handle her love and pushed her away and that pushed Cecilia to go back to school and focus on her swimming until she was injured that ended everything for her.
After losing Cecilia, Colin saves her from the darkest place and takes her to Scotland. But his family gets in the way and brakes them apart for the second time.
Cecilia needed a closure but she couldn’t push Colin away. Now Cecilia needs to decide if she is ready to move on or get her heart broken again.

It was second chance at love. I enjoyed her first Billionaire book and this was good but I liked the first one better. Cecilia and Colin had more history and it seems a bit rushed. Third book seems more interesting than this one. I would give 3 1/2 stars.
Thanks to Netgalley and author for ARC in exchange for honest review.

A gripping easy read. Hard to put down. Good story line, easy to relate to and enjoy. Can always count on this author

I found this one just ok! It’s a third chance book and I found the storyline a little hard to follow at times, or the editing of the chapters needed changing, I wasn’t sure what timeline I was in for the most of the story.
The idea was pretty good. The couple had split twice before a finale chance came around again and explanations for their previous partings are explained to each other.
The whole story is a bit of a jumble though and could do with a second editing.

I was mostly confused for about 2/3 of the book as to why Cecilia and Colin broke up to begin with. It was fine, and I read the whole thing, but it wasn't life-changing or amazing. Predictable plot, average-ly interesting characters.

This was a second chance romance story.

Cecelia, CeCe, had her heart broken by Colin twice now, and she's not looking for a third time. The first time she met him was when she was visiting Scotland and they had a beautiful love affair. When she confessed that she loved him, he got angry and told her to leave.

Two years later he reached out to her, When he finds out that she's been hurt and had surgery. She ignores him at first, then she gives in. He mails her a plane ticket to see him, and she goes. His family hates Americans, this goes back to the 1800s from a business deal gone wrong. His mother and sister set her up really good, and he leaves her at the altar.

Six years later, Colin is the passenger on her flight to London. She can't believe she has to sit next to him on this long flight. He tries to get her to talk to him, she ignores him and listens to her earphones instead.

He has terrible regret for not finding her. He still loves her. But he doesn't remember what he said to her because he was drunk and he has no clue what his mother and sister did that ruined CeCe.

Can this couple can over their past and begin their future? Or has too much happened?

Very entertaining, captivating, and interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong and intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This second book in the series can be read as a complete standalone. That being said, that's is about the only thing I liked about this book. I did not connect with the characters, I did not like the back and forth between past and present, and I hated how much the story of what happened in the past dragged out. Not my favorite. Three chilli peppers of hotness. Thanks for the ARC.

Bad Breakup by Elise Faber is book Two in the Billionaire's Club series. This is the story of Colin and Cecelia. This can be a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Colin and Cecelia Story in this book goes back and forth through their relationship showing each points of views. They also broke up a few different times and when they meet again it has been several years from their last breakup.
This was a different type romance for me with this type of story line but it is always a nice change to see some struggles of the characters trying to work out a relationship. Some of the things they did / said I couldn't connect with but overall enjoyed their journey.
