This is book 2 in a series and I did not read the first book but this story was just wow. It is a stand alone but I loved how it did not take the easy route and is a very complicated road to love for both Annie and Dustin.

Dustin is the cowboy and Annie is the girl he meets. She loves animals and dogs and is in town working a movie and training the movies dog. She is a sweetheart and Dustin falls hard for her. The two have a week together and they slowly get to know each other and fal in love. But an ex gets in the way and Annie runs away until she finds herself pregnant.

Meanwhile Dustin does not know why she ghosted him and when he finds out why she is back he tries to win her heart. But Annie does not want to trap Dustin and so she makes him go on a journey to rediscover his past. I loved Annie she is such a great character.

This was a wonderful and heart warming stor.
