Make in a day Wedding crafts: is a little book containing just 15 DIY projects, but every single one is just as adorable as the previous one presented.

These projects are really easy, and the instructions are well written as well. The step by step photos are clear and provide the extra help to visualize how to create all the goodies.

Make in a day Wedding crafts focus on wedding decor and items of course, but so many of these projects can be also used in other situations. My favorite project is the wood lanterns one. Besides being a beautiful decor for a rustic wedding, I can see them decorating a porch or even a tabletop. It has a rustic and farmhouse vide, and is just so pretty!

The Markee letter sign project will look adorable in a girl or teen’s bedroom. The table settings can be used for any occasion, like a big Thanksgiving dinner. And let’s not forget the silverware holders, as they will also make a great addition to any special holiday’s table decor.

oh, and the Gittler sneakers! I know my girls would just love if we make a pair. I can already see ourselves playing with glue and glitter, and making them together. Sure it will be a mess, but I love crafts and I can’t wait to see my little one’s faces when they proudly wear something that they made themselves.

For any Bride, Groom, Mother, or family member looking to add a touch of handmade DIY to the BIG day, this book will be your guide and inspiration. Not to mention that can mean hours of fun and save money on the very expensive store-bought stuff. Get this book and save up for the honeymoon!

Very creative thoughtful book. This is great for couples that love DIY and/or on a budget for their big day. The explanations are concise, the photos are beautiful and clear. I only wish there were more projects. Perhaps there will be a volume 2. This would make a great engagement gift.

These are very cute and semi inexpensive crafts for weddings. I recently requested this book from netgalley. With my wedding coming up in a year and a half I felt I could use some of these craft ideas.
Most of the crafts are semi simple and the explanation on how to are easy enough to follow.
Thank you netgalley and to the publisher for allowing me to read the ARC.

My daughter’s getting married next year so we’re looking for ideas to make the wedding unique but cost-effective. This slim volume has attractive pictures and (though I haven’t tried to make anything yet) the instructions look straight-forward, with each step photo- illustrated.
I like the table centre-piece made from jam jars and the idea for the organic guest favours (which I think I would adapt). I love the wooden lanterns (although I don’t think I’m allowed to use a saw!)
Paper is my usual medium so I did find the paper projects a bit too basic. There were also some obvious omissions, probably due to the size of the books in the series and the ‘make in a day’ criteria. Wedding invitations, for example, were not included.
If you’re having a truly handmade wedding, this book won’t cover everything, but it’s a nice addition to your craft bookshelf.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC.

MAKE IN A DAY: WEDDING CRAFTS
Written by Natalie Wright
2019; Dover Publications (64 pages)
Genre: arts and crafts, special occasions, nonfiction

(Review Not on Blog)

RATING: 4 STARS

I love arts and crafts and like looking at different ideas to put my own spin on it. There are some cool ideas, that seem to be easy to moderate to execute, and not too many pieces to buy.

***I received an eARC from NETGALLEY***

Make in a Day: Wedding Crafts is a new collection of 15 DIY tutorial projects which don't require a large commitment of cash or time. There are a number of these "Make in a day" booklets and this one shares the same format.

Released 16th Jan 2019 by Dover publications, it's 66 pages and available in paperback and ebook formats.

All of the projects include easily sourced materials and full color photographed tutorials. The projects are easy and generally very attractive. Most of them are not wedding specific and could be adapted to gift giving, home decor or other uses without any trouble. Some of them would be appropriate to create in a classroom setting as a parent gift. I'm thinking especially of the thank you gift in a berry basket on pages 16-19.

This is a nice booklet for people planning a get together on a budget and looking for a little DIY fun at the same time.

Three and a half stars, rounded up for the very nice tutorial format.
