While a bit of a slog through court-room scenes the balance of this tale remains compelling enough to keep turning the pages. Three separate crimes in one wrapper keep you on your toes.

William Manchee is guilty of being master storyteller in the first degree.
Dirty dealings, dirtier secrets, and one tough-edged attorney come together in this gripping follow-the-money legal-thriller . Mary Waters is a brilliant protagonist, As the witnesses are dropping like flies and the truth is evading, she diggs-down and is determined to challenge duplicity and deciet to expose the depths of human greed

Do you like your mystery books heavy on interpersonal relationships, attorneys and court cases? I like to pick books based on their covers, though they can be misleading. In this case it definitely was! I was expecting a book about a hip restaurant when in fact this book was a cross between a legal procedural and a mystery but heavy on the grind that must make up a murder trial. I'm not sure how close to the truth this was but it seemed realistic to me and easy to read. Expect a Major plot twist towards the end!
