i enjoyed this one! it's been a while since the last time i read HQ romance manga and it's pretty refreshing. especially with this one since both the H & the h didn't really fit the usual style of romance; the heroine's the one that pulled me in instead of the Hero and for that, it's pretty good. and the drama! my gosh. can't wait to read more!

I really think if I had read the actual book this would have been easier to follow. As with the other ones, this is rather all over the place. It jumps around and I wasn't for sure what was happening in a few places. I know that they had to cut it down and all. The art work was beautiful though.

Once again, I want to say what a delight it is to lose myself in the beautiful illustrations of these romance manga comics. I love how the illustrations bring the characters to life and tells me a story. And I love that sometimes these stories leave me wanting more and I looking for the original book to read. That has happened quite a few times to me.

Title: The Ultimate Seduction
Author: Satoru Nagasawa
Genre: Manga
Rating: *****
Review: In the opening of the Ultimate Seduction was are introduced to Tiffany who has accepted an invitation to Q Virtus, one of the most exclusive clubs in the world and she is there on behalf of Davis & Holbrook, but her brother isn’t allowed in, but the drama caused at the entrance draws the attention of the some of the club’s patrons. At the club she is supposed to meet Ryzard to discuss a UN alliance between the countries, however, along the way she gets distracted by a handsome stranger and briefly lets herself be swept away by him before reality comes crashing in.
We learn that Tiffany was married to her friend Paulie which was arranged by her parents, but he died in a car accident that left Tiffany scarred on her upper body, arms and face, although the mask she wears at the club hides them. It turns out that the handsome stranger she was distracted by is Ryzard but when he pushes her to reveal her face and he sees her scars he stirs a lot of insecurities for Tiffany. The following morning Ryzard finds Tiffany to apologize and start over and he even asks her out on a date which Tiffany accept and the chemistry between them can’t be denied.
The ending of The Ultimate Seduction was beautiful and tear-jerking, there was a real emotional impact in this manga that went beyond the romance as it has an actual plot with interesting and well-developed characters. Highly recommended.

I rarely read romance and Manga, but this is a sweet, page-turner story, ideal to read in one sitting.

I was kind of lost at the beginning. Like is there a back story to her situation? The story just started and was a whirlwind of emotions, lust and I don’t know. This book was hard to follow through and the drawings weren’t that intense with being just black and white.

I received this ebook copy from the publisher and NetGalley for an honest review.

Some political conflict, masquerades, and scar turn into a romance manga in the Ultimate Seduction. Tiffany doesn't like to go out much due to a tragic accident that left her scarred and killed her husband. The artwork was great and I loved the plot

This story had the potential to be depicted much better in a manga. Slightly disappointed with the lack of background story for the heroine.

Review to be posted on all sources mentioned on my profile in a few days.

I received this manga from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review!

The blurb sounded amazing, a bit of sadness, tons of romance and flirting, and I can't wait to see if this one-night stand will turn out to be more than that.

We immediately see the full extent of how much damage she got due to the accident. Half her body is full with scars and red/brown spots. :( That she survived so much damage to her body, wow. But yes, I could imagine she would want to avoid the limelight, people can be very very cruel. :( Holy crap, we learn it happened on the day of her wedding.

It seems our girl is roped into going to some event to win hearts of important people for her daddy-dearest. I was proud that she went for it. Sure, she clearly showed her dislike, but then she went for it. And then, she looked so fabulous when she wore that dress. Can I say that I cried a bit when she said this to her reflection: "Long time no see, Tiff. I've been dying to see you again."

I was already wondering how they had the sex, sure, you could turn off the lights but eh... But that way works as well. :P

Oh, wow, he is such a dick. Aww, the girl isn't wearing her sexy clothes, oh no, she is angry because you walked into the room and said those things, so she is charmless and plain? And apparently you think she is lying as well? Because she had a guy near her at the reception and so that must be her husband? UMMMM? Oh dear lord in heavens. Thankfully, it quickly turns for the better, and while I was a bit angry at her assuming that, I mean really, you have pretty extensive scars, anyone would probably be shocked at first. Just because they are shocked doesn't mean they are meaning it in a bad way.

But thankfully, I so so happy with this, they had a chat. And thus a romance started. I just adored how sweet our guy eventually turned up to be, from that previous part I thought he was quite dickish, but it seems he was just unhappy and assuming things. I am definitely giving him another change, especially after what he said about our girl's scars.

But, yes there will be drama. Come on, she rushed headfirst in with a guy she barely knows, and apparently there will be consequences to due who our girl's dad is and who her lover is. Oh my. We learn more about Ryzard, including what happened to his fiance. That poor guy. :(

Nooooooo, don't make that decision! Argh, yes I know, I know, everything will work out soon, but still, why???

Aww, that ending. Yes, I am crying. Yes. I knew it was coming, I knew it would be cheesy, but man, I loved it. Ah, sweetness.

The art was pretty great, though it was a bit odd that at times it seemed that Tiffany didn't have any scars, and that Ryzard's tattoo disappeared when they had sex. But other than that, I quite loved the art.

All in all, a wonderful, lovely manga that I really enjoyed. It was just too good. Sweet romance, a kind man, some political stuff that I couldn't really care about but was still an interesting add, and then there is the ending.

Book title : The Ultimate Seduction: a Harlequin Manga

Author :Dani Collins; Illustrator : Satoru Nagasawa

Release Date : 1 March 2018

Tiffany, our heroine comes from a high-so society as she is also the daughter of a US presidential candidate. Our hero, Ryzard is a wealthy leader of Bregnovia, a small country which was totally destroyed during the war. He was rumoured to have bought his presidency with huge amount of money. For business matters, Tiff’s father later asked her to meet Ryzard at an exclusive club named Q-Virtues. I guess it resembles the Gentlemen’s clubs in the historical romance novels tho. Little that Tiff’s father knew, Tiff disliked to be in the spotlight after the incident that she face-leaving her emotionally and physically scarred. Yet she still managed to join the club because one of the rules in the club was to wear the mask. She later met our hero there and they started to have a physical and emotional attachment to one and another.

I personally love to the whole plot of the story. I think it is because I could relate myself to the emotional experience that Tiff has been through. And even though this story is a happy ending one, the rest of the story will never be spilled here. It is no fun and is a surprise that one should read and find out. But heck, the plot of the story is evoking and the end of the story is emotionally touching especially when I see how Tiff finally was able to manage herself and get out from the emotional barriers she kept guarding. The conflict is portrayed and illustrated beautifully as the artist is able to captured it and put it into the manga-style. It is just a perfect one to read.

This was far more completed story. With a good structure and well-made points through the manga about the characters' emotional world, along with Tiffany's growth as a character.

A one-night stand based on instalust turns into smoldering passion and love in the backdrop of a country striving to find peace under his leader after a revolution has turned it upside down. Will politics prevail or is there room for love in this new dawning? A thrilling reading for readers who want some action alongside the romance.

I thought this was ok but it wasn't a great favourite of mine. The artwork was lovely but the storytelling was a bit clunky.

I think I needed a bit more of an intro to the club, the business and Tiffany's role. Some of the story felt a bit far fetched to me.

Apart from that it is nicely romantic and well drawn.
