I really enjoyed this book! Leighton is such a great character! Lucy was such a great match for him. She’s spunky and has a great heart. There is a lot of suspense in this book. Katie Reus’s writing is incredible.

Now that everyone is paired up in Redemption Harbor Consulting, I wonder if this is the last book in the series. I truly hope not.
Leighton is very protective of Lucy. Which is a good thing when we learn what her uncle is capable of. I enjoyed their story.

Finally Leighton's story! I really enjoyed this one and found it hard to put down. I have been wondering what kind of woman Leighton would fall for her, and he has met his match with Lucy. She is my kind of heroine, and I appreciated her strength and intelligence. They go together well, and you can see that the spark is there right from the beginning. My only complaint is that the first intimate scene felt a little abrupt while I prefer a little more build up there.

The mystery and suspense was on point and kept me on the edge of my seat. The story was also paced really well and there was always a great mix of romance and suspense. 4.5 stars! Can't wait till book 7!

*I received an advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

I received an arc from Netgalley and I am providing an honest review. Lucy and Leighton meet while Leighton is undercover as he and his secret ops group suspect Lucy’s uncle of illegal activity. Little did Leighton know that he would instantly be attracted to the woman he suspects is also involved in her uncles activity.

Soon Leighton and his crew realize she is not part of her uncles empire and he does everything to keep her close during times of danger.

Action packed and intense read. Five stars.

This is a very involved suspenseful story. Lucy is such a take charge woman that takes notice of events around her. Even when she doesn't quite understand them. Leighton and his crew are flat out amazing. I loved how the story flowed with no unanswered questions at the end. What a great read!

This is book 6 in the Redemption Harbor series and you absolutely must read the previous books before this one as they lead up to this one. It is about Leighton Cannon and Lucy Carreras. Leighton has been asked by his friend in the FBI to find a woman that has been taken as a debt to Alexei Kuznetsov, their greatest enemy. He knows what may be happening to this young woman right now and brings in the whole team in order to not only try to find her but to finally bring Alexei down. And when he finds out that his niece is the manager of one of the hotels they are watching, he decides that is his in especially if she is aware and a part of what her uncle does. Lucy was raised by her uncle after a tragedy took her parents. She is loyal to him even knowing that he isn't the most loving person in her life. He took care of her and she feels she owes him for that. So much so that she goes to work for him after college as a manager for one of his hotels. But she notices some things that make her look into some of the employees and draws her into a world she didn't know anything about. And when she meets and falls for Leighton, things come to a head and her whole world implodes. Now she has to decide how to handle the things she has found out and whether Leighton is the person she really thought he was.

I have been wanting to know the back story for Leighton for quite a while and this book definitely did not disappoint! Not only is her what you would expect a marine to be but he has a bad boy side to him that I wasn't really expecting! But then he also showed that yes, he has things that he is still trying to work through from his time in the military but he isn't letting it destroy his whole life like it could have. Lucy was a character that I felt for, especially when she found out the true tragedy of what happened to her parents. That broke my heart for her. And when she finds out exactly what he uncle does and has done in the past? Even more heart breaking for her. These two together though are perfect for each in other in not only their chemistry together but in their personal beliefs. I loved it!

Covert Games is Leighton and Lucy's story and my favorite out of the series. I love that the whole team was involved with this latest mission involving sex trafficking and a former enemy they have been keeping an eye on.

Leighton has always been intriguing to me. He has always felt like he was struggling with things from his past and just wasn't truly happy. The way he reacts to Lucy and then how he treats her, it made me melt for him more. I love that despite how much he struggled with his past, he never let that get in his way of falling for Lucy and how proactive he was of her.

Lucy was such a strong character. My heart broke for her when I learned about her parents. She was a heroine I could like and agreed with how she handled things. She was perfect for Leighton and I loved them together.

Since the whole team was involved in Leighton and Lucy's story, we got to see more of how awesome Skye is. That woman is funny and a true warrior.

ARC received for review

Another great book in this series. Leighton didn't give up much of a struggle when he fell. Lucy was amazing in dealing with all the surprises thrown her way. Lots of the previous peeps included in this book.

Leighton, part of Redemption Harbor Consulting, has been asked to look into the disappearance of a young woman so he goes undercover to locate her. He finds out that women are being trafficked for sex through a hotel/casino owned by Russian crime boss, Alex Kuznetsov. His niece, Luciana, runs the day to day operations at the hotel. Leighton has to find out if Lucy knows what crimes are taking place under her nose or if she's innocent. Of course, Lucy and Leighton are strongly attracted to each other and when they get too close to finding out what is going on are in serious danger. Great romantic suspense.

Lots of excitment in this story. The crew are at it again to try to capture, and put out of bissiness a Russian ganster who they have been after for years. Lucy has been runing her uncle's hotel for two years - but has suspions that her uncle has not been truthful with her about some of the transactions happening in the hotel. Leighton and lucy do not want to want eachother - both fight their attraction to eachother, but love eachother they do. Lucy is the key to helping the crew with capturing her uncle and solving the sex trafficing business her uncle has been involved in.

This is the latest book in the Redemption Harbour Consulting Agency series ..... whilst it can be read as a standalone , I think reading the others would be of benefit .

Leighton is approached by an old FBI contact wanting his help about human trafficking through a New Orleans Hotel/Casino group . She cannot look into the missing girl as her team are looking at bringing the whole ring down and are not concerned about 1 particular girl - which could alert the suspect and potentially jeopardise their case .
Lucy manages the Sapphire Hotel/Casino , working for her uncle who supported her up after the death of her parents .
Lucy becomes suspicious of Leighton and it is only when he reveals the truth about her Uncle that she realises all she holds dear is just a fantasy .
Leighton and Lucy , along with his team , must now do all they can to halt the trafficking in young women without interfering with the FBI's case .

A great action and suspense filled romance with touches of humour . I look forward to the next in the series .

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own .

Leighton is cofounder of Redemption Harbor Consulting and former soldier. When his friend tells him about a girl being taken and it’s possibly a sex trafficking ring, the team is in. The man in charge is a Russian who owns several hotels/casinos in New Orleans. The FBI plans to take Alexei down but the girls are not high on their list. Lucy was orphaned was raised by her uncle, Alexei, the Russian. Lucy runs one of his hotels, The Sapphire, but doesn’t know what kind of man her uncle really is. Leighton isn’t for sure if she’s innocent so she becomes the mark. When Maria is located, the team finds out there are more women being prostituted out. They tell Lucy most of what they have and asks for her help. Hoping she is not the monster her uncle is but she’s been investigating some weird activity happening at the hotel. Leighton falls for Lucy but will they both come out of this operation unscathed?
My favorite Redemption Harbor book so far. Mr. Reus really makes her characters come to life and the story pulls you in. Action, suspense , betrayal and sex.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for the author through Netgalley *

Another good one from Katie Reus, although not my fave. I am not a fan of insta-love stories, and that’s what this one was. But it still had that suspenseful element that I love, so I enjoyed it nonetheless; I just had to suspend my disbelief over some parts.

Fast paced!

Another well written story by Ms. Reus! I love Leighton and Lucy's story; full of sweetness, emotion, action and heart. It is the perfect addition to the Redemption Harbor series.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

Thank you firstly to Netgalley and Katie for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review.

Loved this latest book in the Redemption Harbour Series! Leighton is approached by an old friend who happens to be a Fed, to help her with something that she can’t do herself. Leighton and his team opt to go to New Orleans and Leighton goes undercover as a wealthy man to scope out the hotel/casino called the Sapphire. Lucy is the manager at the Sapphire but as far as she knows it’s business as usual, until
Leighton turns the tables on everything she ever knew and reveals the truth about her uncle. A great suspense and action story, a bit of humour from some of our old favourites and a beautiful love story that no one expected to evolve the way it did! And once again catching up with all the team we’ve become familiar with over the last few books😍

Hazel an FBI agent comes to Leighton who works for Redemption .Harbor Consuling. A neighbor of her grandmother had gotten into debt with the wrong people. The project is to big , the entire operation needs to shut down.
The father who got them in this mess, and now the twenty year old girl who they said could pay off his debt is missing. They work out of three hotels, Hazel just wants to get the one girl, .Maria out..Alex is the ring leader, and his niece manages his hotel. While Leighton goes undercover as a big roller. Lucy and him are attracted to each other. Question does she know what is going on with her uncle’s side of business. Several plots are in this story, will they get the results they want. Redemption Harbor Consulting is trying to rescue a young woman forced into prostitution. Crime boss Alex Kuznetsov is the ring leader of the prostitution ring. He also has his hand in all sorts of criminal enterprises. His niece Luciana works at his casino. Is she aware of her Uncles activities? Leighton is sent in undercover to locate the young woman and rescue her along with the other women being forced into prostitution. Leighton and Luciana are attracted to each other, but is there a future for them. Meanwhile the FBI has Kuznetsov in their sights.

This is part of the Redemption Harbor series but could be read as a stand alone. There is suspense and steamy romance in this book. I enjoyed seeing characters from previous books again and I look forward to reading other books in this series. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
