He is a hero yet in his eyes he is just trying to survive civilian life. Everybody sees him as a big, muscled guy and nothing else. Yet to Jordan he is the main guy in all her fantasies. She tries to stay as friends but Cash Griffith is unlike any man she has known. Now my thing is that Marie Harte made Cash at times seem well a buffoon. I wanted more of him than just an ex Marine all muscle and brawn. Jordan, however bloomed in the book showing us she is no damsel in distress just a loving sister trying to make things right. All in will still look out for more of this author maybe there will be something about the others in this series.

This was a decent romance. Jordan falls for Cash who is an ex marine and her boss. I liked that Jordan is a strong woman and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Both are kind people and their attraction grows the more time they spend together. Enjoyed it.

Wow, there are about 57 subplots in this book. There's so much going on that I found it distracting to the romance between Cash and Jordan.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

Cash Griffin, ex-Marine, may be part owner of Vets on the Move, but all he wants is to be one of the team. Cash wants to keep his head down and work, trying to figure out his place in life now that his military career is over, now that his mother is dead, now that his little brother and roommate has found love. Even if one of his team, Jordan Fleming, ex-Army MP both gets on his nerves and thrills his blood. But trouble keeps seeming to find Cash.

Jordan too can't help but be attracted to the giant, grumpy man but she also has her own problems, namely her little brother who is headed down the wrong path and is on the verge of being sent away to military school. But, maybe with Cash's help she can set him straight.

But as these two work together, they find they may be perfect for each other.

Unfortunately for me there was just way to much going on in this romance, distracting from the actual romance itself. Between the dead mother drama, who's my dad, the gang violence, drug selling, etc. etc. I really just wanted to hone in on Cash and Jordan.

This book was extremely enjoyable to read! I have not read the other book in the series so I was not aware of the characters before cracking open this book, but it really did not matter.

Cash is an ex marine that has been having trouble adjusting to being out of the service. The one thing that has helped him is working with his brother at their moving company comprised of vets, which is a really freaking cool idea if you ask me. He is going through some crazy stuff right now personally, but other than that he is doing alright other than being driven crazy by Jordan. Jordan is working at the vet moving company and is pretty freaking good at it. This is not something she wants to do forever, but she has a huge responsibility- her little brother.

I loved how unique this book was and how everything played out. The chemistry between Jordan and Cash was awesome and did not feel rushed or too slow in the slightest. I really enjoyed the read and the outside stories that were included as well.

All in all I give this book a 4 outta 5. It was hot, it was real, it was unique, and I enjoyed it!

Oh my, I loved this story of the Vets on the Go. Cash had me intrigued in book one, but now he is my favorite guy. Rough around the edges, but a teddy-bear inside. I just knew he and Jordan would make a good pair. They each had the cutting wit and tough-guy persona that sparked between them. I was actually surprised to like Jordan as much as I did. Their romance was sweet with a huge dose of sexy thrown in….and I loved it. One of my favorite parts of this series is the camaraderie between the co-workers and family members. It just works and makes me want to apply for a job there. The dialogue is smooth, the romance is touching, and the group dynamic is nicely written. It ticked all my boxes.

I'm still not sure how I feel about this story. It started off really good. A female Army MP, a Marine, a moving company, and family issues should have been a great angsty read. When that is not what we got. Yes, all those things were included but then the story information started to repeat itself then at 70% new information was introduced...out of the blue. The last 30% felt like a different story. So yeah, just MEH.

In the second book of the Movin’ On series by Marie Harte, we have another lighthearted couple with Cash and Jordan. The thing about these books that I love is that they often have a great sexy and fun vibe to it. Harte puts a lot of effort in creating a good bond between all the characters in the series whether they are the main couple or secondary characters.

With that being said, it’s got great banter and sexiness, but there are times when I do think that it can go on for too long. For example, the beginning of the book deals a lot between the other characters with the main couple. But it isn’t until a little bit later when the hero and heroine’s interactions start. So just keep in mind that there are going to be some leisurely delays here and there which I think are in place just for humor and further character development.

I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Great pacing and a well written, enjoyable piece.

Smooth Moves is the second title in the Veteran Movers series featuring Cash and Jordan. This pair both appeared frequently in the first book in the series, The Whole Package.

Whilst Cash can be intense, egotistical and obnoxious, a lot of his outward bravado hides a sensitive, kind, caring and compassionate heart. He's protective and has a tendency to leap before he looks, that can get him into trouble at times.

Jordan is strong, independent and fierce. She's sarcastic, yet sweet and quite strong willed and not afraid to speak her mind.

I really enjoyed the flirtatious, witty and fun banter this pair shares. Their snarky commentary is really a form of verbal foreplay as they butt heads frequently. Their relationship is passionate, and I enjoyed watching it evolve and grow from co-workers to lovers.

Both these characters are realistic, and fallible, with a bot load of baggage from their childhoods and time in the military.

After several reveals in this title, I will be looking forward to the next title in the Veteran Movers series.

Smooth Moves is Cash’s story! I was so excited for Cash’s story that my anticipation overwhelmed the story and it just didn’t quite live up to what I hoped it would be. Cash felt so larger than life that his story brought me back down to earth with a thump. That’s not saying it was bad; it wasn’t. It’s more like I was hoping for more and it didn’t materialize.

Part of the reason for that, I think, is that some things just got telegraphed so hard that when the reveals came, they were anticlimactic. The actual moments felt flat and lacking. Even the “surprise” at the end that had made sense from the start.

But aside from the lack of drama on Cash’s side, Jordan’s story was full of it. Her family’s dynamics seem as messed up as Cash and Reid’s. Her younger brother Rafi is in trouble and her perfect sister is well, perfect. That trouble only grows and ends up a major issue later. But “Little Army” and the big, bad Marine still make fireworks together.

Or rather, they soften each other. Which I think is one of the reasons the book was a bit “off”. Jordan softens Cash a lot. Or rather, his protective instincts come out less with fighting and more with nurturing. This gives the story less of an edge than I anticipated. I was looking for jagged and got soft. That’s not to say that Cash doesn’t wade into fights when necessary. He absolutely does, more than once. And Cash softened Jordan too. She stopped fighting so much and reached out with tenderness. Both of them nurturing and being super gentle with each other. It was super sweet.

I loved how Cash and Reid’s relationship grows and strengthens and deepens. Their roles are changing as their lives change. Their fears are unfounded and their love for each other serves as the backbone for their respective romantic relationships. When the reveals come, it sustains them.

I’m excited to see the two new possibilities for the next book and eager to see where Harte takes these new plotlines. Can’t wait for the next book!

This is my first book by this author and really enjoyed it. I found the storytelling a little choppy but I loved the camaraderie between all the characters, the banter and the friendly rivalry between Cash/Marines and Jordan/Army. Although not necessary as this is certainly a stand alone, I feel I could have benefited from reading the book before this one since I did feel a little lost when all the co-workers' names popped up. A little bit of angst, some family drama, some action, some humour, some romance and some heat, this book had it all!

I love Cash. That is all. He is my new book boyfriend. Not yours. You can’t have him. He is mine. The end.

I mean, if I could have just summed it all up in one sentence I think that would have about covered it all. I mean, I truly and absolutely adored Reid and Naomi, but I have to tell you Cash and Jordan completely stole my heart!

Lots of characters, drama and dynamics were introduced in The Whole Package, and with the way it was all set up I’m so glad that Cash and Jordan were up next in Smooth Moves because I would have potentially (probably) have been harrassing Marie Hart on the regular (daily) basis for it!

And if I thought there couldn’t be anymore drama add to the storyline, I was proved wrong with all the things thrown at me with Smooth Moves! There is still so much goodness to come and I just can't stand it!!

I can not get enough of this series and I’m eagerly awaiting the next one!

I loved this book!I loved Cash and Jordans chemistry.I couldn’t help but smile when they both turned alpha with each other.I know Cash had problems in the last book and his brother always has his back, but in this book he still does but now that Reid has Naomi ,Cash was feeling a little jealous.Jordan and Cash take the opportunity to get to know each other better and Cash steps in to help with Jordans brother whose parents are ready to send him to military school if he doesn’t buckle down. There are a lot of charactors in the book, some we just met and others from previous books, really kept my interest.Looking foward to see if theres a book about Evan in the future.

I adore almost every type of military romance. This book is no different, well except both characters are former military. It reminded me of when my hubby was active duty and talking smack with other members of the military about their various branches of service. That was spot on! I enjoyed the wittiness of both characters along with the gruffness from Cash. The only aspect that ticked me off was how Jordan's parents acted with Rafi. But that's my personal opinion about parenting, and nothing at all to do with the effectiveness of the storyline.

I love how Jordan has such a huge and caring heart. She takes care of everyone and has an extreme sense of justice much like Cash who fights for justice with his fists. Trouble always seems to find Cash. It's not his fault that he can't let anyone be bullied or robbed. If that means a few bruises so be it.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loved military romance novel!

Former Marine Cash Griffith is a magnet for trouble. He's finally getting his life in order and loves working for the family moving company. But dealing with the past is hanging over him and getting answers may be within reach.
Jordan Fleming is finding her footing after leaving the army. Vets on the Go! is keeping her busy and she enjoys the work, but this isn't her life's goal. And now being responsible for her teenage brother makes things more complicated. Helping Rafi deal with his issues gives her a reason to turn to Cash for more than work. Now to decide if she's ready to risk her heart and take a chance on the trouble that is Cash.

Oh how I loved Jordan and Cash!!

I had a hard time getting through book one (I think it was just information overload with it being book one and trying to establish all the characters) but book two I absolutely loved and Jordan and Cash were perfect for each other!

Cash was intense yet charming when it came to Jordan. He just couldn't let his feelings slide. Feelings that he never thought he would have again. Jordan was a tough cookie and just the right amount of sarcastic and sweet when it came to Cash.

Their inner strength and perseverance with each other was sexy as hell. They both have some family drama and loved how they supported each other in their own ways.

Great read and can't wait for the rest of the series!!

Smooth Moves was such an enjoyable and fun story. When I saw that Marie Harte was releasing another book I was ecstatic. Her writing is always so much fun and her romance scenes and relationship building is simply fantastic. She definitely did not disappoint with her latest installment in the Veteran Movers Series.

Before I get too far into this review I will say this book while number two in the Veteran Movers Series, Smooth Moves can be read as a standalone.

Smooth Moves centers around Jordan and Cash, both ex-military trying to maneuver their way around civilian life. Cash and his brother, Reid started a moving company for Cash and other veterans to find a job after they left the military. Jordan and Cash have immediate chemistry, which is made obvious pretty much right off the bat in the first chapter when Cash is checking out Jordan's...um assets.

Jordan's struggled her whole life to fit somewhere. The only place she's felt whole was in the Army and now with Cash and his moving crew. She's currently trying to take care of her teenage brother since her parents have given up. When things become more difficult she asks Cash for his help and he agrees on the condition that she helps him clean out his mother's house.

Cash had a rough childhood even before getting kicked out of his home at 16. His parents never cared for him and now he's shocked to his core when his mother left their old home to Cash instead of the favorite brother, Reid. Now it's Cash's job to clean out the house and figure out what he wants to do with it. Except cleaning out the house is bringing back all those words and feelings Cash felt before he became a Marine.

Smooth Moves is such a great story. I loved how when Cash and Jordan got together it was magical and all kinds of sexy. The sexy times scenes were beyond yummy. I was always excited to read about what they would do next and where. Marie Harte had such a great balance between Jordan and Cash's relationship and their lives outside of each other. The world felt real and so did their relationship.

Smooth Moves is a definite must read! Dual POV with a good balance between Cash and Jordan. We also get some POV's from Jordan's brother Rafi and Cash's brother Reid. The pacing was fabulous and the characters were enjoyable and relatable.
