Ebook/Science Fiction: After the first couple of chapters, I realized quickly this is an older book because it's talking about President Ronald Reagan's security. There were parts of this book that were pretty good like the courtroom scenes. There were off the wall plots that made no sense. And then the ending happened and it ended up being such a hot mess.

I want to thank NetGalley for the copy in lieu of an honest review. This is book seven in the series and the author makes sure you're not in the dark about the characters. However, the motives of some of the characters is questionable like when they're all serious and start having affairs. The forget me gun plotline was ridiculous.
