This book is an ode to 'You've Got A Mail' !! It was funny, romantic, simple yet filled with so much emotion. The author has touched upon a lot of different topics but with such ease that it doesn't feel overwhelming. It is very well written and the missed opportunities between the couple kept me reading on until I finished the book.

Nadia's introductory chapter felt like I was reading about myself, trying to wake up on time for work, making my own coffee and not spilling the coffee all over me but it seldom happens (LOL). The story was sweet and adorable, loved every word of it! I would recommend this book 100%!

This was my first book of this author and can't wait to read more of her work.

This is a really cute, feel good, easy read.

The POV flits between Nadia and Daniel, who both capture each others eye on the Tube and they take to writing messages to each other through Missed Connections in the morning paper.

There are so many near misses and I finished the book in 24 hours because I was desperate to finally "see" them meet. The characters are well developed and it's just a very enjoyable read.

Our Stop was such a cute and enjoyable read! The only one small niggle I had, was really a good thing... I found myself frustrated a times with the whole "will they wont they" and missed chances, but really, isn't that a sign of a good book? It shows how engaged the author made me and how I was rooting for Nadia and Daniel. It was a slow burn which was really satisfying at the end.

I know that some people don't enjoy dual POV but it worked so well for this book. In a romance, I often yearn to know both characters feelings and I really appreciate books, like this one, that give you that.

Both characters had some interesting friendship dynamics. Nadia had a strong group of supportive female friends and Daniel had one work friend, Romeo who was so kind. Daniel also had a flatmate who he had a slightly strained relationship but it showed so much growth which was fun to read.

I would definitely recommend this book, especially to those who enjoy a good rom-com. I will be checking out Laura Jane Williams other works!

I loved this book! The Sliding Doors quality of the encounters and near misses had me hooked. The kind of book that made you want to be friends with the characters and not feel so guilty about always running late. Massively relatable and a real page turner. Thanks NetGalley!

An enjoyable, quick read. There's not a lot of depth, but will recommend for someone looking for a fun, light=hearted novel.

It's true, this is utterly heartwarming and will warm the cockles and de-frost even the most icy of hearts.

Written in the alternate voices of Daniel and Nadia allowed me to get to know the characters and their hopes and dreams. This made all the near misses and the will they / won't they all the more frustrating and as the end of the book drew near I was genuinely worried that they were never going to actually meet.

My only criticism is that some of Nadia's thoughts about, and conversations with, her female friends just felt a little contrived and disrupted the flow of the story. It was as if the author needed to squeeze in some self aware thoughts about the power of female friendship and growing emotionally. Similarly Daniel....
"He thought to himself how much better he felt for being proactive in his own happiness."
Honestly, that came across as the thoughts of a slightly smug individual who had just read all the self-help books at the library.

I'd like to read more about Daniel and Nadia now they are together, maybe the author could be persuaded to write about their relationship one year on?

This was my first book I read by Laura Jane Williams. The cover was so cute, so the book had to be cute too, right?! Well it didn't disappoint. I loved the dual points of view of the two main characters. I loved the premise of the book but became quite frustrated when they kept on 'just missing' each other. ARGH!! It was worth it to stick with it until the end; lovely ending. A cute, easy read. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

I loved this book. I was invested in the two main characters from the first page and wanted screamed at them as they missed each other time and time again. I was like all the followers in the paper willing them on.

A very sweet and heartwarming tale. I couldn't stop reading and awaiting their next meet- up. Will be a great summer read.

What if you miss the love of your life? A heartwarming story of two people trying to find love. I found the story took a little long to tell, and didnt have me gripped all the way through, but, overall, I enjoyed this story.

This is such a fun and cute book. It was so easy to read and actually had me laughing out loud many times throughout the book.

When Daniel overhears Nadia speaking with her co-worker about a business related matter, he feels an immediate attraction to her. After later noticing her on his usual morning train, he feels uncomfortable in approaching her directly, so instead writes into the local newspaper’s “Missed Connections” section seeking to meet this woman (Nadia).

Our Stop gave me several LOL moments. I loved the cast of characters and the described challenges with dating in a large urban centre. I appreciated the strong female personalities and their professional success. The author brings up the subject of consent before sex , which I applaud her for - not an easy topic to discuss in a rom-com.

Overall, I loved this book and look forward to reading more from Laura Jane Williams. I’d highly recommend this to those readers who appreciate a good rom-com.

Our Stop by Laura Jane Williams is a boy meets girl romance. To be honest I can find this type of book written in a way that makes me feel I’ve consumed a whole years worth of sugar in one sitting. This definitely isn’t the case where this book is concerned. It’s modern, feisty, witty,often laugh out loud and I would have devoured the whole book in one day had work not got in the way!!! The two main characters, Nadia Fielding and Daniel Weismann are beautifully painted by the author so that the reader quickly becomes invested in their outcomes. They are both intelligent, funny and kind and the sort of people you’d really like to know.Both are looking for The One, that one true connection that eludes so many of us and despite a run of bad luck relationship wise Nadia hasn’t totally given up hope. Her interest is piqued when a message is placed in the missed connections section of the paper that her friend Emma reads and believes is written about Nadia. Missed connections aims to connect commuters with their ‘commuter crush’ and it is Daniel who has posted this message having spotted Nadia on the tube. It’s a bit more complicated than that but obviously I don’t want to give any the whole storyline! The novel then takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions as messages are exchanged via the missed connections section with Nadia still having no idea who the mystery man is. There are so many missed opportunities for these two to meet that had me screaming out loud as yet again circumstances conspired to lead them in different directions. The reader wonders if Daniel and Nadia will ever finally find their true connection but you’ll have to read this book yourself to find out!! My only criticism, if you can call it that, is that maybe there are too many missed opportunities to be totally believable but this is a very readable book that I can highly recommend with a wonderful cast of characters, all of whom you’d like to be friends with. For all of you romantics out there who believe in true love despite maybe never finding The One this book is definitely for you. Nadia catches the London tube train on which she notices handsome model like Daniel.



Daniel is in love, he thinks, with Nadia. Having a hard time after losing his dad he puts an advert in the paper asking the cute girl from the train for a drink.



Emma and Gaby, her best friends encourage Nadia assuming it's got to be her, she matches the description perfectly she also has her friend Naomi whom also encourage her to write back.



After some back and forth across the Missed Connection page, the pair arrange to meet up never giving names or numbers just agreeing times and places only of course things don't go to plan!



After a revelation about her best friends, Nadia comes to terms with her feelings about Eddie a guy she meets while Daniel has to stand up Nadia as his mum breaks down about the loss of her husband.



After chance near meetings throughout the novel its at a Romeo and Juliet event they finally feel a spark...



The ending is so romantic and lovely, a dream for a couple to meet just imagine!



This book is such a step out there a chance meeting at love on a train sounds so random but it actually happened for my auntie and uncle when they were sixteen which made me want to pick this book up after we just lost said auntie. I think she'd love this book like I did, the relationship that develops after so many near misses makes them even stronger in my opinion as it's like they were being pushed together from the world it was so funny that way. I liked the random LGBTQ relationship that develops though I figured it pretty quickly when the story progresses. I really did love the book, it captured my heart and you wouldn't regret picking this one up.

About: Nadia gets on the 7:30 train to work everyday (except for when she oversleeps) which is the same train Daniel takes. When Nadia catches sight of a Missed Connections entry in the paper that describes her and the secret admirer asks to meet, things get interesting for Nadia.

Characters: This was a dual POV book so we got to know both Nadia and Daniel's thoughts and feelings. Nadia is a confident woman and I love how she never underestimates herself. Daniel is the sweet fluff every romance book needs and I loved him so much for being so adorable. I loved Nadia's friendship with Emma and Gaby and enjoyed the whole girl gang looking out for each other. Romeo was really sweet and a great friend to Daniel.

Feelings: OH MY GOD THIS BOOK WAS SO CUTE! I cannot get over their romance and the couple were perfect for each other! I haven't read such a cute and fun read with such great romance and I loved it so much. The story was amazing and I loved how everything unfolded. The slow burn romance was of the perfect amount.

Recommendation: YES YES YES! I would definitely recommend this romance!

OUR STOP is a cute rom-com of errors, a few too many coincidences and near-misses for my taste, but very sweet in its way and an enjoyable read for any true romantic who believes in the meant-to-be!

This was such a cute book but it also legged at times. I think it would have been more enjoyed at the beach. The parts that legged would literally put me to sleep while reading, but the other parts were so good.

This was a cute, enjoyable read. I loved the premise of missed connections and loved Nadia and Daniel. I did not love how long it took for them to finally meet - it just didn't seem realistic to me that it would take that long. Overall I loved the story but didn't really love the execution. This was a quick read and since I loved the main characters I would read it again!
