I have read all of this authors books and look forward to each one. I find them easy to read and very good with psychological stories. I also like the short chapters and the strong characters. K.L Slater never fails to deliver.

I originally wanted this book because I Love KL Slater. She has such talent for suspense and thrillers. This one is no different. But with her last couple I feel like they are getting less and less unique. Kind of if you've read one you have a good idea how the others will go. But individually this one was very very good. I ended up reading in two days I couldn't put it down. The characters were very well described you got a good feel for them from beginning to end. It was very well thought out and her twists are always amazing.

I would firstly like to thank Netgalley and the publishers for allowing me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This one intrigued me right from the start, drawing me in with its shocking plot. However the 2nd half of the book kinda just lost excitement for me. Beginning and intrigue was there, but the execution failed short for me.

Another great read by author, K.L.Slater.
Once again, the author has written an unputdownable psychological thriller. K.L. Slater had me sitting on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I've become addicted to her books. I can't wait to read her next psychological thriller.
Five stars from this happy reader.

I received a digital copy of this novel from NetGalley.
I have discovered most of my new favorite writers on NetGalley. K.L Slater is one of them. Her novels are filled with suspense and always keep me guessing until the end. I always end up talking about these books at work or with friends. "Finding Grace" is another example of an amazing read; and totally worth it!

Finding Grace is the eighth psychological thriller, a fast-paced psychological thriller by KL Slater. Missing children is a subject that every parent can relate to and is their worst nightmare and Finding Grace is no exception..

Hooked from page 1....Slater is another great Bookouture author! She definitely has a talent for revealing just the right amount of detail in each chapter to get you turning pages furiously! This story was suspenseful, especially for any mother who has loosened the reigns slightly and allowed their young child to go off on her own. I enjoyed the shocking twists throughout the story. Each character has their own secrets!

Not great. I have high expectations when it comes to this author. This one was my only disappointment. Perfection is not achievable always & I think that others will still enjoy Finding Grace.

A good read loved the plot, lots of twists and turns. The only thing about this book that is off is that the Councillor job needed further research as they don't get paid and they would definitely not get a bonus. Don't know what this family lived on as mother did not work either.

I love KL Slaters books; I find that they are so set in mundane everyday life and that is what makes them really terrifying. It could be me or you.
Lucie and Blake Sullivan finally let their daughter Grace walk to few minutes from her best friend’s house to her own home. She has wanted to for ages and had asked so many times. Only Grace never makes it home. It’s every parent’s nightmare and I read this book with a sick feeling in my stomach the whole way through. The police are called, the search begins but Grace seems to have disappeared into thin air. Lucie and Blake are beside themselves but what secrets are they hiding? Told from Lucie’s standpoint with an anonymous voice speaking every few chapters, this book was edge of your seat, fingernail gnawing the whole way through. A solid 5 star read

Gripping story that floundered at the end. I found myself hooked and trying to guess whodunit the whole way through. And then, I reached the end and let me just say I found myself rolling my eyes the whole time. A mixed bag of a book for me.

Absolutely loved this book, brilliant well written, I wouldn’t say it was a twist at the end but very unexpected, would definitely recommend.

Lucie and her husband Blake agree that newly 9 year old Grace can walk home for the first time from her best friends house. Obviously the parents had agreed one would watch as she left, and Blake would watch from their own house, she would never be out of sight. Expect - Blake has an accident, and she is out of sight, and now Grace is missing. The same Grace who had sat eating breakfast bursting with excitement.

Despite the community and police getting involved, no one seems to know where she is. Surely there has to be a reason. As Lucie starts to investigate around her own home she finds Blake is keeping a massive secret from her and this could be the reason that Grace is now missing. Everything Lucie thought she knew about her husband is suddenly changed. Yet, Blake isn't the only with a secret. Lucie has been keeping something from Blake from the minute she met him and this could carry serious consequences.

I really loved this book, it was so tense. Told over time, we follow the day in the lead up to Grace going missing, how she celebrated her birthday and those around her. We then continue on looking at the immediate time frame after the incident. Interspersed throughout we re visit Lucie's past. Her time at university.

However - we get a glimpse of the horror that is to come and this quote below is exactly that, so we know there is more to Lucie than her perfect life.

"It's been hell to get so close and keep so quiet, but i knew i had to wait. I wasn't sure what for; I just knew there would come a time, an opportunity to set things straight, remind her of the awful truth she's tried so hard to bury"

As we travel through the journey of the narrative, the reader gets chance to piece together what has happened and this is where this book excelled for me. At first impressions, i had it all figured out, i knew what had lead to all the situations but i was wrong. I was so wrong. Even when things started to become clearer - there was still more to come. Slater has a way of gripping the reader in, making them feel all the tension, stress and worry.

The characters are well constructed and have depth to them that means the reader wants to discover more about them and their lives. The description of the scenes really allows for the reader to picture themselves their watching the drama unfold, i certainly felt like i was sat on the sofa in the living room with tea watching it before my eyes.

We come to an epic conclusion and i felt my blood pressure shoot up as we are drawn into the turmoil. Finding Grace was a brilliant thriller that kept me engrossed and allowed me to loose myself in the pages. A dark read that is prefect for seasoned thriller lovers

Slater has been a favorite author of mine for some time, I was thrilled to be approved to read Finding Grace and it was an absolutely phenomenal psychological thriller. This was certainly a page Turner much like her other books, I couldn't put this one down until I knew what happened to Grace. Everytime I thought I figured out, Slater dropped another bomb that blew my mind.

K.L. Slater's writing is just so good. So suspenseful. I should have read this - as opposed to listening to it - as I could have gone back to check some things. And been able to feel the suspense more. Good book. Some things felt forced and I felt myself having to get over the "no way, that is ridiculous" feeling of too much coincidence to make a story work. But overall, a very good suspense.

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC.

A parent's worst nightmare comes true when their daughter disappears on a walk home from a friends house. Does it have something to do with the father's secret or the mother's from past?

This was a quick read as I wanted to get to the end and find out how it all tied together.

If you are looking for a good beach or lazy day weekend read, check this one out.

Right. I blame this author for writing such great stories that was was forced to binge listen for of them on my daily work commute!

My review is on my good reads but I thoroughly enjoyed this one and will be listening to her latest shortly.

Thank you for my ARC.

I love anything that KL Slater writes and have been a fan of her work since I first read her book Liar two years ago. Since then, I have read all her books and they've all been 5 star reads for me. This was no exception. Twisty, fast paced and compelling, Finding Grace is a great thriller!

The previous novel by this author that I read (Safe With Me) I found a bit lacking, the writing seemed (in my opinion) as though she wrote the twists and then attempted to meld them together to complete the picture. Despite the shortcomings of that read, overall I enjoyed the storyline, I was open to reading more of her work, if it sounded intriguing enough.
I'm glad I have this book a chance, totally worth it. There were actually times I would be reading and had to backtrack to digest what had just happened in complete surprise. I had theories, never quite sure how close l was to solving the mystery. If we were playing poker K.L. Slater would left me at the table broke. I couldn't foresee the twists, and once they started, they just kept coming.
Well done! I would recommend this book to anyone. A satisfying read. Honestly, l can't think of anything I didn't like about this book.
