Another good Brazen line by Entangled publishing. Colt is a bullrider who hooks up with his best friend's baby sister, Jenna. Colt wants more but Jenna is afraid she won't get money to open an afterschool program because of her mother's occupation. Overall a decent read.

Holy hotness Joya Ryan packed the steam into Chasing Trouble, and let me tell you Colt is one hot bull rider that will have you fanning yourself. Jenna, is a kindergarten teacher that needs to hold on to every little bit of her good girl personality as possible, especially in a town where she is judged based off of opinions of her family rather than her as a person.

Colt injured and taking an unwanted break from bull riding finds other ways to fill his time. What Jenna doesn't need is a sexy bull rider taking her for a ride in the wild side...but maybe that's what she needs more than she realizes.

Will Jenna be able toand her dream job and keep her sexy fling a secret? You'll have to read to find out...but grab some ice water and a fan before you start.

Chasing Trouble is an excellent read with fantastic characters and some panty melting sexy times. The story has a nice easy flow to it and the writing is excellent.

Jenna Justice (JJ) is a kindergarten teacher working hard to land the job of her dreams. To do this her reputation has to be squeaky clean. She already has the fact that she comes from "the wrong side of the tracks" working against her. If the good folks of her small town knew about her wild side they'd never want her teaching their kids. Problem is keeping that wild side in check isn't easy when Colt McCade is there tempting her at every turn.

Jenna Justice feels as if everyone is judging her for the actions of her “trailer trash” mother who can’t resist the bottle of a passing man whether he is attached or not. She is out of town and drowning her sorrows when her best friends brother turns up to rescue her. Colt McCade has been avoiding commitment ever since his parents died but finds it difficult to resist JJ despite her wanting to keep him a secret. Fun and hot. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This one had been on my tbr list for a bit with getting to make a mark on it by diving in. Though I told myself I did not want to read a brother one I found I was doing just that since this one had such a pull with curiosity winning. I also know how those small towns used to work so this one got me stuck like glue. Jenna and Colt take you on a ride in this one with heat one minute and story the next, keeping us wondering what direction this will go.The heart wants what the heart wants as the saying goes with it also worming its way into ours. Colt is also interesting having gotten our attention fast. Kept with this from beginning to end lapping it up.

This book was another good book from Joya Ryan. We all have a past and Jenna knows that it’s not always easy to live with. Her mother made very bad choices and some won’t let that go. Now her best friends older brother Colton has the same problem for different reasons. He has always been there when she is in trouble but now who will help her when the chance to have him and fulfill her crush comes to be? But it could ruin her chance at having her dream? It’s a really good story and seriously enjoyed it.

A woman with a reputation not of her own making and a cowboy who still running from his. One willing to take a risk and the other isn't, made this book very interesting to read.

Jenna or JJ has spent her entire life trying to prove to certain people in her small town that she is nothing like her mother. She wants to start an after school program and run it but has to jump through hurdles to make it happen. A family that her mother wronged is fighting her ever step of the way and so Jenna feels like she is under a microscope. What she thinks she doesn't need is a hot cowboy who is too good looking for his own good, wrecking what she is working for.

Colt is the older brother of Jenna's best friend. She has had a crush on him forever. One night she decides to let her hair down and seduce Colt. Neither was expecting the kind of chemistry they ignited. Colt has run from their hometown because of some mistakes he made when he was a kid after his parents died.

I really enjoyed the push/pull these two had. While I really liked this book, there was two things that I was hoping the author would elaborate on. The first thing, I don't REALLY understand what Colt did as a kid to make certain townspeople think so little of him. He was a boy grieving. The second thing was, I was a little thrown on what happened at the school board. After JJ said her piece, I was surprised about what she did next. I won't spoil it, but it just seemed like a weird thing to do after she had been fighting for this after school program and for her to run it.

I highly recommend this book.

Jenna has secretly loved Colt for years, but he left town a decade ago after his parents’ deaths. The famous bull rider returns to his hometown for three months after suffering an injury. He and Jenna are thrown together since his sister is Jenna’s best friend, and they also share the same circle of friends. Eventually, they stop fighting their attraction. However, they both have issues that, for a while, prevent them from going public with their relationship and from considering it to be anything other than temporary. Circumstances eventually lead them to admit their feelings for each other and to try for a permanent relationship.

J.J is the good girl from the wrong side of the tracks. Colt is her best friend’s brother and her old crush. When sparks fly, J.J decides to have some fun but what will happen when Colt wants more than one night. Fast-paced read with lots of steamy and an entertaining story with plenty of drama. A Good Read!

4.5 stars - Chasing Trouble is a sexy, relatively quick read that embraces the best friend’s brother and friends to lovers tropes. It’s well written and appropriately steamy. Enjoy!

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Jenna aka J.J. is a teacher and from the wrong side of town. Her Momma is the town’s home wrecker. She has lived with that her whole life but tries to live her life differently. She is one of the two teachers up for an after school program that gives kids a place to go. Colt is a bull rider and J.J.’s best friends brother. He only comes back to Diamond for short visits and then leaves without many people knowing. When Jenna goes out of town to present her ideas for the program, she ends up in a bar where Colt comes to the rescue. She decides to have a one night stand with Colt and let her wild side out. When Colt gets hurt and comes to stay with his sister, staying away from Jenna is harder than he thought. But she wants their relationship kept a secret until the board votes. Will Colt lose the only woman he has loved by telling the wrong person about him and Jenna?
Sex, cowboys, and small town gossip. I loved Jenna and Colt even though Jenna wanted to hide her relationship with Colt.

Colt just loves to tease his woman, “you can do whatever you’d like in private with me,” he whispered." Colt is always looking at the brighter side of things, “a few bruised ribs are nothing we can’t work around.” He glanced around the closet. There was some open space, room to move. “I can lie down and you can hop on and—” Colt legitimately has no shame, “what lines? I’m legitimately asking if you’ll take me to bed, then bend over wearing a—” I loved this book, I fell in love with Colt.
