Unfortunately, this is not the book for me, though I know I might be alone in that stance! I found that although the storyline was interesting, I didn’t enjoy the writing and the characters, to me, were not as compelling as I wanted. I liked Hannah’s storyline and felt like it could have been more interesting than Zoe’s. I didn’t like Dale as a person, and this might have contributed to my rating. The love interest has to be just as interesting and relatable as our protagonist for me to really be interested in a romance. Again, this is not the case for most people! I’m not sure I would ever reread this, but I am interested in where the story goes, especially for Hannah.

This was an ok read even though I thought the storyline was very predictable and the chemistry between the main characters of Zoe and Dale seemed lacking. There isn't anything wrong with the story but there isn't anything WOW about it either.

There is an immediate and intense attraction between Zoe and Dale. An attraction Zoe fights hard to resist but when Dale tricks Zoe into working with him on his latest project the sparks really begin to fly and resisting becomes almost impossible.

This is a fun, quick, easy read that even though not my favorite is a book I would still recommend.

This is Zoe and Dale’s story it was instant attraction when Dale first saw Zoe. Then the kiss at his brother/ her sisters wedding. He hired her company for a decorating job when she was away and now she is back and sparks are flying.
Follow that by a disagreement between the two which is short lived when Zoe is attacked.

So we have the start of a new series. We meet Zoe was young and and way person due to some past issue so she was a little bitter and not in any rush to get into a relationship especially not with rich playboy Dale. Dale also had a past relationship that left him gun shy but he can not get Zoe out of his mind, so even though they fight there chemistry, eventually they give in and that my friends is when the story begins. It was cute enough to pass the time.

For some reason, I could not get into this book. I don’t think the execution was bad, just didn’t hold my interest. I tried to read it 3 times but in the end, I just stopped trying. If you’re the type that likes extremely mellow dramas, this might be for you.

Zoe and Dale were meant to be together. It just took some time, and a little nudge from some family members, for them to figure it out.

They shared a dance and a kiss when Zoe’s sister married Dale’s brother. It was enough to make sparks fly. But, Zoe didn’t trust men and she would never date Dale. So, how could she have gotten caught up in the moment? Dale was a rich man with a reputation of dating women and then dumping them when he got bored with them. Ever since that kiss, Dale couldn’t get Zoe out of his mind and he was willing to do anything to have her as his own.

This was a fun book to read. I could feel the tension between Zoe and Dale from the start. But, when they got together, look out! They were a steamy couple. I enjoyed the family drama in the book too. There were quite a few characters in this book as both families have lots of siblings, but they didn’t confuse me while reading the book like I have experienced in the past. I really liked Zoe’s mother too. She was a hoot. I just wish the ending had been written out with a little more detail. It felt rushed and I really would have loved seeing Zoe and Dale come together on their own terms. This book is part of a series, but it can be read as a stand-alone.

An Impossible Attraction is my first book to read by Elsa Winckler. It is a quick read filled with romance. I look forward to reading more books by Elsa Winckler.

Zoe was young and unattached; Dale was a sought-after, rich tycoon— what girl wouldn’t swoon a little bit? Since the get-go, their chemistry was off the charts. Besides the obvious attraction, neither one was ready to jump head or more so heart first to anything and they avoided each other like the plague. Zoe trust issues with men left her batter and Dale past work fling that nearly destroyed his business left them damaged. After a blissful night, passion consume them and it ends with a kiss rendering them speechless. Who would have thought one single kiss could change everything.

Generally speaking, this was an okay read. Nothing really stood out and by the time I did get halfway through, I was already dreading picking this up. The characters seemed dull, the touch and go relationship with the leads was a tad be annoying and the story became boring after a while. Moreover, the romance seem a little rushed and towards the end, they were too quick to make up. I will definitely won't be rereading this series anytime soon.

Unfortunately, I did not finish this one. I made it 30% before giving up. This was my first book by the author. I think this must be a second book in a series, possibly? I felt like I’d been dropped in the middle of a TV series, and was attempting to piece together the story with very little information. I didn’t really understand why the Sutherlands and the Cavallos hated each other so much. I also felt like Dale and Zoe’s romance moved way too fast, and personally, I felt like there was very little consent taking place. I think he was supposed to be an alpha, but really he just didn’t ask at all, he just took. Sadly, this story just totally didn’t work for me.

An Impossible Attraction (A Cavallo brother romance) - Elsa Winckler⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I loved it! I have not read many romance books, I think this is the 3rd one I have read but I am starting to love this genre. I really enjoyed following Zoe and Dales journey, I haven’t been able to stop thinking all day about what might happen next, so I was very happy to curl up and finish it although I am sad that it’s ended! This book was the perfect combination of a cosy, heartwarming read and head over heels romance! I can’t wait to read more from @elsaw1 ! Thankyou @netgalley and @tulepublishing for allowing me to read it! Due to be published 6th February. #animpossibleattraction #netgalley #romance #romancebooks #sundaybookreview

This is book 2 in a series and it easily stands alone. I did not love this story but it definitely had its moments. It stars David who is the brother of Zoe's sisters husband. David tries to resist the pull of Zoe very much, and yet he cannot stay away either. Meanwhile Zoe thinks he is a HUGE jerk. So its a bit of an enemies to lovers storyline.

They both really had no reason to hate the other and every reason to get to know the other and so thats what drove me a little bonkers about this story. However I did like both characters, I just wanted to watch them fall in love and not constantly run from the other. Supposedly their exes and broken hearts is the reason but I just did not feel it was compelling of a reason.

That said it was well writtend and I did enjoy parts of the story.

Fast paced and enjoyable read. I liked how the story is told from both of their points of view so you understand why both of them have trust issues.
I did wonder if there was another book before this.
