So, part of the reason I chose to apply for reading this book was because of the cover, which I know is lame, but it had a DOG!

But, I ended up really enjoying the story of Flynn and Sunday, because of the way in which they were brought together. Tragedy is something that we often read about in books, but I thought that this was a particularly different take on it, and I enjoyed the book. Flynn and Sunday suffer from the pitfalls of any relationship, but when you throw in the family drama, it brings in all of the different areas of books that intrigue you.

Flynn and Sunday have to fight for the bond and love that they share, but will they succeed in the life they want together is a different question entirely.

Great third book in the Bradshaw Brothers series. Flynn Bradshaw comes home to Benevolence, Washington, to help his sister-in-law, widow of his late brother, continue her recovery after the devastating car accident and months long coma, as well as helping with the farm. During the process they discover an attraction between the two of them and must overcome feelings of betrayal and guilt to find their happily ever after. This was an excellent book full of emotion and hope, family connections, and love.

Shirlee McCoy's novel, "Home at Last" is a page turner! I wish I could have curled up with a hot cup of coffee, a warm blanket and this book so I could have read it all day. I was drawn into the story of Sunday as she grasped to accept her new life as a widow of a cheating husband. The book was realistic in the things Sunday struggled with as a repercussion of the accident she and her deceased husband had been involved in- motor skills, memory loss and the mourning of a husband she loved who did not seem to love her in return. A great read for sure and I can't wait to read more books written by Shirlee McCoy!
