This is very action packed suspenseful and a page turner. Highly anticipated after the 1st left me hanging. Fell a little short throughout a little and didn’t keep the same pace as the first but definitely a great story and highly detailed. Definitely on the reread list and will do it consecutively with the first so I get the whole story at once

Another great quick read , keeps the pages turning. I enjoyed this, not as much as the first but it was still entertaining. Still love Cade and Indy. I think too much happened too quickly in such a short space though.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

Wow! Is all I can to this 2nd book. The first book left you hanging. Cade and Indy found there way back into each other. But then Issac, Cade's cousin is killed. Most of the book you are trying to figure out who did it. Until Indy comes across a scrapbook from Tex. Then pieces start to fit, but not quite.

But in the last couple of chapters everything comes together and you are on the edge of you seat as to what, how is Cade going to help Indy. That's all I can say. Because I'm afraid I would give away how it is all pieced together.

Needless to say, if you read Kings of Mayhem you definitely will want to read Brothers in Arms.

This is the second in the Kings of Mayhem MC series. It picks up right after the first book and while the first book concentrated on the relationship between Cade and Indy, this one was more MC centric.

So here’s the good. Plenty of action and a mystery to boot. If you’re looking for a high heat level, there’s plenty here for you as well. However, this book didn’t quite work for me for several reasons. First, it was almost too much action and thus characterization seemed to be on the losing end. It ended up being murder, funeral, murder, funeral, sex, murder, murder, funeral, sex, funeral, etc, etc, etc. it was just too much. Several times, someone would die and I stopped for a minute to try and remember who that person was, came up blank, shrugged and moved on. Cut down the murders by half and there was still plenty of story for the author to flesh out. I should have actually cared about who died and the lack of characterization was to blame.

I really enjoyed the first book and had high hopes for the second but it just left me ambivalent about the whole story arc. Three stars.

Penny Dee's “Brothers In Arms is the continuation of “Kings of Mayhem” which had ended in a cliffhanger. The story starts off after the abrupt death of his cousin and best friend Issac that leaves Cade devastated beyond belief. And day by day, member after member is brutally murder by someone, unknownst to club, is closer to home then they realized.

When the second installment of the series was released I couldn't wait to get my greedy hands on it. I loved “King of Mayhem” and was left dying to know what happened to Cade and Indy after the crazy cliffhanger that left me on the edge of my seat in the first book. And as much as I hate to admit it, the sequel left much to desire and didn't quite meet my expectations. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, it seem fast paced and was over before you knew it. I anticipated a bit more of a built up towards the conclusion of the story but everything just seem rushed and the characters just weren't as likable like the first part. In all honesty, this installment could have easily just been attached to the first book then with the author starting the sequel with a new refreshing character from the club. Moreover it was a good read, not the best yet an overall pleasant read that finally gave the heroine and hero their happily ever after.

This book picks right up where the first book left off- with Cade and Indy and their story. This book has a lot of focus on the MC and the actions around the club are affecting Cade and Indy's relationship.

This book has action, suspense, heartache, and true love. I am really enjoying this author's writing and can't wait to read more about this club.

I am excited for Biker Baby in March and can't wait for more from this author!!

This is the sequel in the Kings of Mayhem series. It can be read as a standalone but to fully understand the history of Cade and Indy’s relationship, it would be beneficial to read the first book. Plus, it is awesome! The previous book was full of angst and heart wrenching but, this one is darker. Beloved characters are threatened and face horrific hardships. Fortunately, there are moments of great love and beauty. The mysteries keep readers waiting for the next shoe to drop. I can’t wait for the next installment. I read this ARC on Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

3 1/2 Star Review....

The danger and terror continue in this second instalment of Penny Dee’s Kings of Mayhem MC, and Cade and Indy are once again in the thick of it. Brothers in Arms is a lot shorter story than the first, and ultimately makes for a pretty quick read.

The story is gripping and extremely fast-paced, but unfortunately this allows all the murder and mayhem to take centre stage ahead of Cade and Indy, who seem to be left seated in the rafters. Based on the short length of this story, I would have been happier with less death focus, and more people attention; namely Cade and Indy.

That said, this is still a good tale, and with the added bonus of a preview excerpt of book three, I’m excited to see what comes next in this high octane series.

I was keen to read this as soon as I could, after reading book one in the Kings of Mayhem MC series; Kings of Mayhem. While the first book focused on romance and Indy and Cade, who had broken up 12 years previously but never got over one another. This book had more of a thriller element to it.
It picks up straight after the last book finished and moved at a pretty rapid rate from then on. There is still a little bit of romance, again focused on Cade and Indy who quickly move from just being back together to becoming an established long term couple. The thrust of this book though is who has it in for the Kings of Mayhem. Is it a rival gang, or is there something else going on here? With more and more of the gang members being targetted, it becomes clear that no one is safe until they get to the bottom of what's been going on and who has a problem with them.
Cade is struggling with the loss of his cousin, who in every other way, was like a brother to him. Indy, although suffering from the loss herself tries desperately to ease his pain. If anything it helps to strengthen their relationship, in spite of Cade's bull-headed stupidity that he knows best.
There's a lot to go through here, with abuse, rape and murder all touched on in one way or another. If you are looking for a sweet gentle romance, then this just isn't it. As mentioned before, in many ways, this novel belongs more in the thriller category. Either way, it was a great read and one that I couldn't put down.
I don't know where book three in this series will take us? Back to a romance, a thrilling crime novel or something different. I can see that these books wouldn't be for everyone, but I am really enjoying them and can't wait to find out what will be next.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Simply amazing! A great way to continue the story of Cade and Indy but also include all of the side characters. This is a great romantic suspense read. Looking forward to book 3!

When I received this book I immediately downloaded it and began reading. I could not put this book down, there was not a good stopping point. It pulls you in and you have to find out who is wanting revenge on the kings of mayhem mc. Revenge is an ugly thing, it turns people into something that you never would think possible. In the end you discover, you never mess with the kings, they will dish out their own justice!!

I absolutely loves this book. At first I was a little confused on the amount of tragedies but it all made sense later on. It was well written and you could feel the love between them and the comraderie between the “brothers”. I would definitely read again and can’t wait for book 3. Highly recommend!!!

Brothers In Arms is book two in the Kings Of Mayhem series, and it's starts right where Kings Of Mayhem left off.

Brothers In Arms is jam packed with heartache, action, jaw dropping OMG moments ans the feels. All the feels. I didn't think it could get much better then KoM, but man was I wrong. Penny Dee killed it with Brothers In Arms. I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE.

Book 2 in Penny Dee’s King of Mayhem series continues with more Cade and Indy (yay - I love these two). The story follows on directly from book 1 as we see Cade and the Club deal with the murder of one of their own. It soon starts to become obvious that there is someone directly targeting the club and its members, as more bodies start to pile up. The Club goes into lockdown, and Cade starts fearing the worse. It becomes blatantly clear that no-one is safe. Even throughout all the suspense of this whodunnit we still get super cute, super sexy time between Cade and Indy, I swear this couple are adorabubble, I love them. Sad times, sexy times and a few shocks and surprises. I was hooked from the very first page. I am so looking forward to book 3 with Cade’s brother. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Brothers in Arms by Penny Dee is a great sequel to Kings of Mahem. Brothers in Arms picks up right where the last book leaves off with Cade and Indy's story. Book one having set up the MC setting and the introduction to the members along with their relationship.

This installment is based at the club more than anywhere else. Penny does a great job at portraying each of the members and the feelings that one has when someone you love is taken too soon. The anger and the dread were so real that it had me grabbing tissues on a few occasions. You feel like you are there with them, feeling what they are feeling. The drama and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat.

Cade and Indy are just starting to build their life together when all hell breaks loose in the club. There is an assassin after the members of the club but they can't figure out who it is. Members keep getting murdered and they are no closer to finding the killer. Poor Cade is going out of his mind trying to love and protect Indy but being there for the MC is taking its toll. Indy is trying to keep Cade from losing his head while also trying to be there for the MC as well.

I grew very attached to Cade and Indy. Indy is a woman that every woman wants to be. She has an amazing job and a loyal and loving man to go home to. Cade is an alpha male that all women want to be with, yet he only has eyes for his queen, Indy.

I loved the books and I can't wait to see what crazy up and downs happen in the next one!

The second in the Kings of Mayhem MC series - and continuation of the first book, is the rest of Cade and Indy’s story. Together again, Cade and Indy are fighting to keep their relationship and club together. Someone has it out for the club and the killings continue. With everyone on lockdown, the danger is mounting and threatens not only relationship with each other, but survival.
An excellent conclusion of their story.

Picking up right where we left off in Kings of Mayhem, we finally get a bit of a respite from Indy and her running. She's set up shop, so to speak, back in her hometown and she and Cade are presumably on their way to a hard-fought HEA. However, someone is out to get the Kings of Mayhem and one by one, members and their loved ones are targeted. And this is where the Author lost me.

It became too brutal, too quickly. The amount of carnage left behind by some random shooter felt overdone to me. Sure, it made sense an MC would be in someone's crosshairs, but to bring down that many members was over the top unnecessary. It was funeral upon funeral and Cade drifting away from Indy after they struggled so hard to make things work again. There was simply too much dark and not nearly enough light in this book.

I liked Indy a bit better since she morphed back into the biker chick she was groomed to be and her ease at staying by Cade's side was great to see. But their love story got a bit muddied as they try and figure out who is after the Club. Too much focus on Club business and not enough on their love.

I am happy to report that things do improve between them and the mystery when solved threw both the Club and myself for a loop. An interesting turn of events made sense but only in a convoluted kind of way. I'm not sure I'm still buying the reasons for all the mayhem.

I skimmed a bit with this one, like the book before it and wished this could have remained one longer book instead of two. I might be interested in more from this series but only time will tell if that occurs.

3 stars.
