An accessible translation of the BIble for young readers who enjoy graphic novels and comics. With bright pictures to accompany the simple text, this book told the whole story of the Bible, giving children the big picture, from Genesis through to Revelation. Featuring many stories presented in most children's Bibles, it also featured some that might be less familiar, such as the story of Job. I hope to add a copy of this to our reflection area at school for our more reluctant readers.

'The Lion Kids Bible Comic' by Ed Chatelier with art by Mike Kazybrid is a fun look at Bible stories with humor aimed at kids.

Starting at Genesis and going through Revelation, the major stories are covered with cartoony illustrations and silly humor. The reader would probably appreciate these better with some knowledge of the Bible, and if so, there may be a few laughs to be found.

This is not meant to be a serious look at the Bible in comic book form. There are other published things for that. This is a send up with nods and asides. It felt some of the humor was a bit foreign to this reader, so it might go a bit over heads of kids I know. The illustrations are fun with lots of details in the drawings.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Lion Hudson Ltd. and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

This is a winner. It's an entertaining way of introducing children of any age to the Bible in accessible ways (or even for revisiting stories). I'd love to have a copy of this in my classroom.

This was a delightful book with stories from the bible that I shared with my 8 years old daughter. It was informative and a great introduction for children to start learning about the bible. As it is written in comic form, this book lends itself to the reluctant reader and the illustrations make the book fun. Thanks to netgalley for letting me review this book.

To be able to appeal to even the stubborn who don't feel they have any reason to need to read the Bible is the audience I read this too. A small group of disconnected children who don't see their purpose so clearly.

To get to see a different representation of the BIble was such a joy that we all appreciated together.

This book can take entitled stubborn nonbelievers of themselves or anything and assist with a humble transformation! I got to see it rapidly give confidence to 15 really awe inspired children. They see and have hope in what they can't always see now. Their faith is renewed!

I gave an honest review in exchange for a copy of this great book! What a great read! More than five stars ever could be!

I was really impressed with how this book took something that can be boring to kids, and put it into comic book form. It was entertaining for both my 8 year old as well as my 5 year old. They enjoyed it!
