I always enjoy reading Jaci Burton. This is the first in her new series about three firefighting foster brothers. I loved the found family aspects in this book. For fans of contemporary romance, I think you’ll find it enjoyable - a quick read with just enough angst and romance.

Thanks to the publisher for the advanced reader’s copy in exchange for my review.

Full review to be published online in mid May.

HOT TO THE TOUCH is the first book in a sizzling, sexy new series called 'Brotherhood by Fire' by long time romance author Jaci Burton. Why do we always like the bad boys? Just no reasoning with some of us, and Anne is not exception...until the unthinkable happens on a fire call. Danny, however, is not going to leave Anne to her fiery fate on that fateful day. They are both risk takers and both love the brotherhood known as firefighters. But is all of the brotherhood on the same page in their love for one another, or is there a betrayal in their midst? Nice story, if a tad uneven in execution; but an intriguing beginning to what looks to an interesting series.

This was a great start to a new series. I loved how independent the female lead was and how caring the male lead was. The backstory was great and I loved that the kids were adopted and had a loving home. I can’t wait till the next one.

Hot To The Touch is the first in a new trilogy by author Jaci Burton. Jackson, Rafe and Kal were three brothers by choice living on the streets when they sought shelter in an abandoned house. The house catches fire and ends up being the best thing that could have happened as the boys find themselves being fostered and eventually adopted by one of the fire fighter's and his wife.
Fast forward to the present and the boys are all working as fire fighters. The boys find themselves meeting up with their past when they run into Becks whose tattoo shop is the scene of a fire. She was on the streets at the same time as the boys and still goes back to lend a hand when she can while the boys have moved on with their lives. Jackson has always played the role of protector and doesn't know what to do with his feelings after the boys let Becks move into their home.
Another well done romance by Jaci Burton and will definitely be purchased for my library readers.

Jaci Burton has come up with another winner. It's a hot one too, in more ways than one! This is the first in a new series. Why do we always like the bad boys? Just no reasoning with some of us, and Anne is not exception, until the unthinkable happens on a fire call. But Danny is NOT going to leave Anne to her fate on that fateful day. How will they find their way back to each other? Will they find their way back? They are both risk takers and both love the brotherhood known as firefighters, but are all of the brotherhood on the same page in their love for one another, or is there a betrayal in their midst? Only time will tell and if you want to find out, read the book!

Thank you to netgalley for the arc of this book and the opinion expressed here is my own.

3.5 Stars!

Hot to the Touch is the first book in an all new series from Jaci Burton. Told from dual points of view, Hot to the Touch follows the story of Jackson and Becks. When it comes to Jackson's past, he wants nothing more to put it all behind him. He's come a long way since being in foster care and is happy with the life that he's made. All is going to plan until Becks turns his world upside down... When Becks' business and apartment goes up in flames, it all seems hopeless. That is until Becks runs into a blast from her past. You see, Becks grew up with Jackson and his brothers. The only problem, Jackson doesn't remember who Becks is. Despite that little fact, Jackson isn't about to let someone down in their time of need. So, he offers her a place until she gets back on her feet. As much as Jackson wants to stay away and leave the past behind, there is something about Becks that calls to him and is impossible to ignore. Will Jackson and Becks take a chance on love or will their chemistry burst into flames?? There's only one way to find out....
Overall, I thought this book was a good read. I loved the idea of the story. I mean, you can't go wrong with firefighters and romance. And Hot to the Touch was a fun one to spend the day wrapped up in.

I really enjoyed the plot of this story and found the characters to be really likable. I appreciated the rough backgrounds that these characters came from and I liked seeing how far they all came. I loved the camaraderie that Jackson shared with his brothers. You could tell that they would always have one another's back, no matter where life would take them. And Becks was a great addition to their little family. She just fit right in with the guys and did what she could to earn her keep. You could tell that she was real and had the best of intentions. And I loved seeing her put Jackson in his place! Speaking of Jackson, the sparks between these two were flying all over the place. It honestly was a joy to watch. Sure their relationship wasn't perfect and there were a few bumps along the way, but honestly, what relationship doesn't have ups and downs? In the end, these two kept me on my toes and I couldn't wait to see how their story would play out.

Hot to the Touch is a great start to the Brotherhood by Fire Series. I had a great time getting lost in this story and am looking forward to seeing where this series will go next.

This title was indeed, hot to the touch. It had a social aspect not often found in a typical romance. It was in lightning to see homelessness from the point of you of someone who “escaped the system.” The characters were well-developed, very likable, and left you rooting for a happy ending!

I loved Jaci Burton's latest book. Who doesn't love a firefighter?!? Can't wait for the others books to come in this series.
