I have read several of this author's books and have loved them all. I was looking forward to this one from the moment I heard about it. The writing is great and I loved the pace and people. I was in suspense through almost the whole thing. Just enough laughs and drama to keep you engrossed. This is the story of a woman that goes against the grain to achieve her happiness, but at what cost? This is book seven in The Wind Dragon MC.

Clover grew up in the Wind Dragons MC. She is the former president's daughter. She has parents that love her to the moon and back and some of the best people supporting her choices, her two best friends when she does something that is a big no-no. She joins the police force.

Felix is assigned a new partner and there is much to be said about her. He has the police in his blood. His father was an officer and was killed in the line of duty. He is a great guy and has an open mind.

When these two are put together the sparks fly. She had a partner but he doesn't like her and Felix’s partner is hurt. Not only is she associated with an MC she is also falling for her partner which is frowned upon.

Like I said I was engrossed for the whole book. So much fun. I was always waiting for the show to drop. It drops a couple of times and one surprised me just a bit. I liked it. As I also said the wring, pace and people were great. I loved reading about the relationship between Clover and Felix grow and trust develope.

I can't wait for more from this author. She did not disappoint.

As always, Ms. Fernando delivered the book I was expecting and wanting to read.

It had the badass female - who happened to be an MC princess & cop - and the swoon-worthy, but equally badass hero - who also happened to be a cop.

Opposites definitely attract in this one. We get a lot of the side characters - which I happen to love - and, of course, there's drama galore.

So, if you want a book that has strong leads, awesome side characters that do not eclipse the main leads, funny scenes, hot ones and plenty of action and drama, Fallen Princess is for you.

I voluntarily agreed to read an early copy and my rating is 4 stars.

Fallen Princess is the 7th story in the Wind Dragon’s MC series by Chantal Fernando and follows Clover Black, the daughter of fan favourites Dex and Faye whose romance in the first novel kick-started this amazing series!

As the daughter of the former President of the Wind Dragon’s Motorcycle Club, Clover Black’s upbringing has been far from conventional. Though she knows the reputation surrounding the club, Clover has never known anything but love and family values from her large and boisterous family. They do expect a certain future for her which is why Clover has to keep her chosen profession and her dream from them……they’d never accept her being a cop. Yet that is what she has become and even though her first few months on the job haven’t been what she expected, Clover is determined to use her position to help people. If only her sarcastic attitude didn’t keep getting her into trouble. Enter Felix Banks, an up and coming young police officer, and Clover’s new partner. As Felix teaches her what it means to be a cop, Clover finds herself falling for him, but when her secrets come out, will Clover be forced to choose between the job, and man, she loves and the family she adores?

Fallen Princess is the novel long time readers have been eagerly awaiting as Chantal Fernando finally allows fans to delve into the heart and mind of Wind Dragons MC prodigal daughter Clover. We’ve known her as a baby and young girl, the apple of her parents (and all the other MC members) eye and now Clover is finally front and centre as she finds love herself.

It was really nice to have the opportunity to finally follow Clover. She’s a down to earth and well-rounded young woman who has been brought up to be able to look after and protect herself. She’s smart, savvy and sarcastic but also very sweet. I love that Clover is more than able to take care of herself and that she has taken a chance to pursue her dreams….even if they aren’t what people would have expected of her. It was ironic that the child of a biker became a cop.

The romance in Fallen Princess was wonderful too. I think Felix and Clover had lovely chemistry and I thought it was wonderful that Felix not only accepted who Clover was and where she’d come from, but that he made an effort to become a part of her life in connection to the MC. A cop walks into a bikers clubhouse…sounds like the start of a bad joke, but it was very entertaining to read about.

And in saying that, Chantal Fernando will please fans as she includes so many of all the brilliant characters from the earlier books in Fallen Princess. The older generation are still very much alive and kicking—and taking names too. Faye, Dex, Lana, Anna, Rake, Arrow, Trucker, Vinnie, Bailey, and others all appeared and brought so much fun and laughter to the novel with their antics.

A great read in what has always been such a solid and brilliant biker series, Fallen Princess proves once again why Chantal Fernando is one of the Queens of MC novels—in my eyes at least! Can’t wait to read whatever she releases next as she never fails to satify and thrill me!

Fallen Princess is a pretty straightforward story: MC princess secretly becomes cop. This book does connect to both the Cursed Ravens MC series and her legal series (but that is just a name drop), but you don't have to have read either to understand. Honestly, you don't have to have read the previous books in this series to enjoy Clover's story. Clover is the daughter of the former Wind Dragons president and has always been a stubborn, strong willed child. She wanted to be a cop but feared her parents wouldn't approve so she moved to another city and joined the police force there.I liked Clover as a heroine because she tough, smart, and yet still impulsive and reckless. She comes off as a believable young woman-she is trying to figure out who she wants to be and how to get there and she makes some mistakes along the way. I loved Felix for her. At first, he is kind of douchey, but he really respects her. He was great for her in her professional and personal life. They had a few communication issues which I find annoying, but honestly, it worked in the story and these issues weren't the main plot point. My biggest struggle with Fallen Princess is the struggle I have had with the last few Fernando books I've read: they seem lacking in depth. There is a lot going on in the plot and all of it seems glossed and not fully explored. I felt like any one of the plot points could have been the focus of the story instead of all of them being thrown in. You have the story of a MC girl sneaking away to be a cop, you have the subplot of the drug dealer she is trying to take down, then you have the dirty cops who want to use her, then you have the mystery of Felix's dad's death....its just a lot and any one of them would have made a great story. All of them together made Fallen Princess feel unfocused and, at times, rushed. It should be noted that despite that, I still devoured the story. I found myself thinking about it frequently when I was interrupted by mundane things like my job or my need for food.

MC books are one of my favorites to read. This one is right up there as one of the best. I loved the conflict going on with Clover and her choice to be a cop. This one was so good, I loved Felix and how he accepted Clover for who she was. It's packed full of action and suspense. I can't wait to read more from this series.

I've read (and loved!) all of the WDMC books, and Dragon's Lair was always my favorite. There was just something about Faye and Sin that made me happy. When I read the blurb for Fallen Princess, and found it was about Clover, their daughter, all I could thing about was "Gimme! I've gotta read this one RIGHT NOW!"

Clover is a good girl. She has a good upbringing, and loves her family in the WDMC. But she has a burning need to be a police officer, that she knows her family would not approve of. Because in the MC world, the police are the enemy! Achieving her goals, and then keeping her life secret from the family she is so close to, isn't easy for Clover, but she doesn't see any way around it.

Felix is a cop. His father was a cop. His only goal in life is to be the best cop he can be. When he meets Clover, he isn't sure about her to begin with. But he teachers her how to be a better cop, and they become close. There is a connection there, and boy, does it get steamy!

These two are absolutely perfect for each other! I couldn't help but cheer for them throughout the book. Even when things were stacked against them, or when it seemed like they wouldn't be able to find their way, I was still cheering for them. This story was fun, from beginning to end. I enjoyed seeing old friends from previous books, (and even a few surprise visitors!) and I loved seeing the kids, all grown up! This book was a pleasure to read, and I can't wait to see where the WDMC series goes next!

Fallen Princess was advertised as “perfect for fans of Kristin Ashley, Julie Ann Walker, and Joanna Wylde”, as a KA and Reaper’s Fan, I was intrigued because I’ve never read any work from the Wind Dragons MC. The twisty plot was engaging and the dangerous encounters were fascinating. However, even though the story was written in first person, I feel like I’m reading the story from the outside as narration instead of feeling the depth of the characters’ actions and emotions. I’m not sure if the reason for not feeling the connection was because I jumped in mid-series. It was still a delightful experience to see a biker princess turned cop who fell for her charming partner. Clover and Felix were likeable characters and I love the witty banter between them. The reaction to Clover’s choice of her beau from her close-knitted Wind Dragons family was hilarious. Overall, I enjoyed this suspenseful and forbidden romance.

This story was definitely different in the Wind Dragons line. Did not see Clover’s choice of jobs but it was nice. Felix was a little too perfect. I would have liked more angst and more suspense. It was very MC-lite, in case you were expecting more. But I did like Clover and Felix together. Just a feel-good story.

4.5 Stars for the beginning of the next generation of Wind Dragons.

Clover black is all grown up and takes a very different path in life, but her loyalty to her family and the WDMC never waivers. Now that she’s older, she shows her true strength and proves to everyone that she truly is the daughter of Dex and Faye Black. She’s a biker princess with ambition and independence and is just as badass as her mother.

Felix doesn’t quite know what he’s in for, but he quickly proves that he can handle being with Clover Black and that she’s worth any and all hurdles they may face. He’s tough enough to handle his own amidst her family’s presence and shows them all just how strong and deep his love and loyalty to Clover runs in his blood.

In my binge read of the WDMC series, I got to see Clover’s life flag before my eyes. Within five days, I saw her born and face off her own dangers with determination, dignity and strength. It was an incredible experience to see all the stages of her life and then watch her find her soulmate. A love just as strong as the love her parents and all the Wind Dragon men found.

For so long Clover Black has only known life as the daughter of a biker, but now she is stepping outside of that world to create a life of her own... and she has decided that those rules she learned a long time ago no longer apply to her. Growing up she learned that associating with cops was a no-no, but that didn't stop her from dreaming about being one, unbeknownst to her parents of course.

So she went to college, went to the academy, and now has a shiny badge and gun to prove it... but she still hasn't found the courage to tell her family what she does for a living. She told them a little white lie about her career, and with them being far enough away she has been able to maintain appearances, and keep the white lie going... but all that is about to change!

Fallen Princess is a suspenseful and uber sexy tale that will have you captivated from start to finish! The moment these wonderful characters wandered onto the page I found myself enamored with them and their intriguing story, it had many highs and lows that reeked havoc on my emotions and stirred up a case of the feels. It was so fun to be reunited with all my favorite Wind Dragon characters and meet their children, I really hope there are more stories to come for this second generation! I loved this one, it had steamy times to curl the toes, suspenseful action to keep me on the edge of my seat, and loads of emotion to tug on the heartstrings!! Well done Ms. Fernando, you have once again left me dazzled with your well crafted words, and perfectly designed characters!! Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

So nice to read about a grown up Clover.
I love the Wind Dragon series and really wanted a next generation series. I hope this is the start of it.
When Clover was child, she met a police woman who was kind to her. This meeting made her realize she wanted to become a cop as well.
Felix Banks has always wanted to be a cop, his father died being a cop and doing the right thing and he wants to be one. But his father was killed by a member of a MC. This is problem since Clover's family are the Wind Dragons MC.
A great story.
If you haven't read the MC series, do it now. They are in audio as well.
I received an ARC for an honest review.

When a girl grows up with parents like Dex and Faye you know that your destiny in life is something no one could predict.

Clover is the MC Princess. Her mother maybe a lawyer but cops are not their friends. Clover deciding to take a path in law enforcement is something she knows her family won’t approve of so she keeps it a secret. That’s the good thing about growing up the child of Dex and Faye...you know how to keep secrets.

Felix sees Clover and thinks she is a mouthy woman that is playing at being a police officer. Once he gets to know her and her heart he sees her for what she is. His.

All good things must come to and end. Or so they say. Clover has hard decisions to make. Her love of her family and Felix is on the line.

This suspenseful romance will keep you guessing until the end!

ARC given via Author and Netgalley - what can I say... I loved all the Wind Dragon Men books.. this one was no different. I love reading all these stories when these authors do the next gen series.. love reading about the kiddos.
Clover Black is the MC's princess She is the daughter of the former president of the WDMC - She knew from a very young age that she wanted to be a Cop when she got older. Knowing that this would boad well with her parents and the rest of the MC -
Felix Banks has always wanted to be a cop as well - His father was one and he just knew that is what he wanted to do as well.. but when his father was KIA and he was told that is was a MC member that did it.. this put a bad taste in his mouth about the MC life.
Felix and Clover are partnered up - Clovers original partner couldn't deal with her so she gets set with Felix..
So what happens when 1 Clovers parents find out she is a cop and has been hiding this from them, and 2 when Felix finds out that her family is a MC? You need to read this book.. actually the entire series for that matter..
This was a super fast read.. I loved it!!

I have read all the books in Chantal Fernando’s Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens series. She is an incredible writer and story teller. The characters in her stories are always intriguing, some I absolutely love and others I am compelled to absolutely loathe. I can count on Chantal to create characters that are like living breathing entities, with all the depth and complexity of real humans. That includes personality flaws that make them all the more real.
I enjoyed reading this book and having the opportunity to visit some previously loved characters and even some cross over characters. I am not sure if it was the excitement built up over reading this next installment that perhaps built the bar too high. But to me this book felt subpar to her usual books. The writing was still awesome and the plot potential was huge. But overall, the plot felt rushed and emotions were glossed over. Maybe the plot didn’t have strong enough elements to it or the characters didn’t portray emotions during the trauma that I would’ve typically expected, but everything felt very glossed over, leaving me with an empty feeling.
While I enjoyed the book, this one just didn’t hit it completely out of the park for me as her other books have. I’ll still always be a fan and look forward to her next book.

I apologize. I dint read the synopsis before requesting it. I am extremely picky with my MC romance books. I don’t read those with biker and cop romantically involved. I don’t like the dynamic. At all..

Clover has always been a part of the Wind Dragon series.  She stole the hearts of all the MC members along with all the readers of this series.  When I found out that she was getting her own book I knew it was a must read for me.  While I enjoyed the book it didn't do for me what her parents, and the the other MC members books did.  It didn't have all the feels I'm use to getting with this series.

I liked how this story started.  It really threw a wrench into what I was expecting of this book.  I liked how it was playing out, but it felt rushed.  Things weren't happening organically, they were being shoved along to get the story going.  I wanted a more relax flow to this book where I could really get to know the characters.

I LOVED getting to revisit all the MC members that we know and love while getting a glimpse at some of the younger members of the club.  I'm still looking forward to more books from this series.  This was a good book it just didn't stick with me like others in this series has.

I love Chantal Fernando’s MC books and her writing.
I have been excited for Fallen Princess and to finally read Clover's, (Faye and Sin’s daughter.) story.

Clover has always wanted to be a cop and unbeknownst to her MC family she has become one. She also falls for her partner Felix- which is her complete opposite!
I do wish for a little more MC life in the book, but it was still a good read.

Is It Possible That a MC Princess Becomes a Legit Cop?!

The Wind Dragons MC Princess has fallen to the “dark side”?! That’s what many from her family would think when she finally lets them in on the secrets she’s been hiding. Dex and Faye’s little girl has grown up to be the bad*ss reflection of both of her parents and has become a cop which makes her extremely lethal seeing she knows how the “bad guys” live as well. All she wanted to do was help people which also makes her into an exceptional choice. It surely doesn’t hurt any that her new senior partner is also at the top of his game and he is one fine specimen of a man as well.

I have loved this series and was excited when Clover was going to be given her book and what made me love this book even more was how all the “old” bikers were brought in to this story. I still love them all and now with the next generation growing up I look forward to more to come from the Wind Dragons MC.

I spent the majority of this book rolling my eyes. We’re constantly being told (by Clover herself no less) how smart and amazing she is yet it never occurs to her that the academy would do a background check and know she’s related to a MC. At the beginning of the book she is so whiny and immature, constantly complaining and disregarding what her partner tells her, which being a rookie, everyone outranks her and (at least in America) all rookies have training officers which are there to, gasp, train you. But she has a total disregard for how policing works.

She gets paired up with a new partner, Felix, who she all of the sudden decides to listen to because he’s what, hot? Her partner (who’s technically her superior) makes the first move even though he’s on the fast track and dating your partner is most definitely not the way to get there. There was no tension, no chemistry between the two. I don’t even know why they liked each other besides the fact that he’s hot. I wanted more of that forbidden romance, trying hard to stay away from each other and follow the rules. But they jump right in to a relationship without really even knowing each other.

Then there’s this “twist” near the end and even though it was suppose to be suspenseful, I laughed out loud. Everything about this plot was ludicrous and not what I expected from a MC romance.

"You know you grow up with bikers when being a police officer is the 'dark side'."

I've been a fan of the Wind Dragons MC series for a while and was very excited to read Fallen Princess. The synopsis was a big tease and I've been so intrigued by the idea of a biker princess becoming a cop behind her family's back. Especially since I already met and love said family. That revelation was a disaster waiting to happen and I couldn't wait to witness it.

Clover being all grown up really makes me feel old. But that didn't keep me from enjoying all the sexy times between her and Felix. I also enjoyed the time she spent with her besties. The witty banter between characters is one of my favorite things when reading a Chantal Fernando book. Her dialogue is so smooth I feel like I'm in the same room with the characters and always seem to embarrass myself by laughing out loud in public.

Another thing I enjoyed is the suspense. I kept waiting for badass Clover to show the police department how it's done. I knew with her being a woman she was sure to get picked on and I couldn't wait for her to show them up. What better training could she have ever received than being raised with a bunch of caveman bikers, right?

And when the shit hits the fan, what's better than having a biker family to back you up? Nothing. Yeah, I knew they would be pissed when they found out what she'd done behind their backs. And yes, I was worried right along with her as she procrastinated about spilling the beans. But, I never doubted they'd love her unconditionally. It's Felix I wasn't so sure about. Bringing your #HotCop boyfriend home to the clubhouse is not on the acceptable behavior for biker princess to-do list. Nope, it's how you end up the discussion topic in the 'WDMC Chat Group'. Wouldn't you love to stalk that group? I sure would!
