I loved the sexy confidence Owen had right from the start. I probably wouldn't be able to resist those advances either.

Sexy, shmexy...DILF is one hot read.

It's been ten years since Stefanie saw Owen, and wow...did he grow up nice! Gone is the shy, game geek, and now Stefanie is faced with an all grown up Owen. She though sharing an apartment with him for a couple of weeks would be no problem, is she in for a surprise.

Owen has had a crush on Stefanie since he was a teenager. Ten years younger than her, he had no chance back then. Though now the tables have turned, and Owen is not afraid to let her know what exactly he wants: her!

DILF is a quick, fun, extremely hot read that will get your engine running in no time.

First of all, did you SEE this cover? Absolutely love it! This has possibly one of the best books I’ve ever read by Amy Andrews. This was one of the stories story I was waiting for in 2019 and it was EPIC!!! Amy Andrews has blown me away with this book. It’s a real page turner that captivated me from the very first word to the very last one. Plus the emotions in this book, just literally jump right of the pages right at you. No one writes heart pounding, page turning, steamy, sexy and addictive romance like Amy Andrews. Forget setting the bar for contemporary romance, she absolutely smashed it. God I can not wait to see what this talented and spectacular author writes next. This deserves 10 stars not the 5 I have to give. You Do Not Want To Miss Out On The Book, Pick Up Your Copy Straightaway, Like Now!!!!! Absolutely, totally, definitely and highly recommend this book to everyone

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of The D.I.L.F.. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Oh boy! I nearly devoured this book in less than 24 hours... (Insert amused chuckle here.) For real, I just couldn't get enough of Stefanie's struggle against herself. It was wonderful and laughable, while maintaining complete believability. Owen's best qualities: his boldness and sense of humor were both brilliantly written. Amy Andrews is clearly a student of nonverbal communication--in addition to being quite the skilled writer. I just loved everything about this book, and I will happily read work from this author again!

Thank you to NetGalley and Amy Andrews for the ARC!

This was a quick and fun read! There were many LOL moments. Stefanie has known Owen for many years as he was/is her younger brother's best friend. With a 10 year age difference, she wants nothing to do with him despie how HOT he is. Owen wants Stefanie for life and now just has to convince her. This was another enjoyable read by Amy!

Nurse/doctor romances are not my thing, but it’s Amy Andrews (author of quite possibly my favorite romance ever) so how could I resist? I’m glad I didn’t, because this is an utterly over-the-top, kinda quirky, and unbelievably fun ride, with some of my favorite tropes (best friend’s sibling and forced proximity).

“Connie…he’s my brother’s best friend. My kid brother. Owen Chandler is ten years younger than me.”
Connie flipped her blond hair over her shoulder dismissively. “You’re thirty-five, Stef. Not dead. And you have that curvy redhead thing going on, men love that stuff.”
Yeah, idiot men who thought nurse was code for sex fiend. And a redheaded nurse? Apparently, we’re all nymphos…
Which is why I don’t want another DILF.”

After getting dumped by the last doctor she dated, nurse Stef is done with dating life and ready to settle down and start a family. Agreeing to help out her little brother’s best friend, Owen, by letting him room with her while he’s waiting for his apartment to be ready isn’t a big deal – until she finds out he’s the new DILF at the hospital. With a ten year age gap and highly different life stages, Stef doesn’t anticipate anything happening between them, but Owen’s got a different plan. Would giving into the attraction be so bad, or will it only leave Stef brokenhearted?

I liked Stef, and completely understood why she was so against starting anything with Owen, considering the age difference and how she’d been hurt in the past by another doctor who was only looking for a good time and nothing permanent. Stef was Owen’s first crush (at fifteen), and he’s not surprised when seeing her again brings up all his old feelings for her, and in fact, realizes that she’s probably “the one” for him. I liked direct he was about letting Stef know that he wanted her, though his confidence did border on cocky arrogance several times for me. Watching Stef try to resist his advances was pretty fun, and the sex, when, of course, they eventually had it was seriously steamy.

And I guess this is my main criticism of it, that this falls pretty firmly on the “erotica” side of romance. The imprint name of “One Handed Reads” is a pretty big clue what’s intended, and there’s a lot of sex, so much sex, so there’s a little less time given to developing other parts of their relationship. Owen’s instalove for Stef – based largely on his memories of her from ten years ago – was the most egregious part of it for me, as I get a bit cranky with instalove in the best of circumstances. I can’t really complain too much, though, as it’s still an enjoyable book, with some ridiculously hot scenes – there’s a scene where they act out one of Stef’s fantasies (complete with large blue dildo) that’s definitely the hottest thing I’ve ever read by Ms. Andrews.

Overall, if you’re looking for a steamy quick read, this will definitely fit the bill!

This short book was so funny there were times that I was crying laughing and couldn't even see my kindle.

Owen has had a crush on his best friend's older sister for 10 years. YEARS!! But he's not the video game playing nerd anymore. Now he's the hottest doctor in the hospital. The DILF. And even Stefani can't be immune to that.

This book is hysterical but it's also super hot. I loved these two so much. The chemistry was explosive and with every interaction I believed more and more that they were made for each other. I read this novella so fast that I wanted to start all over again just so I wouldn't have to leave the characters.

This was a slightly unusual book for me in that the man was younger than the woman by 10 years, but that did not diminish the fact that this was a good read.

Owen has had a thing for Stefanie, his best friends older sister since her was fifteen and he saw much more of her than he should have. Now sharing an apartment with her for a short period, his lust kicks up again and he just knows that he has to have her and that she is the one for him.

Stefanie however, although she finds Owen to be more hot than she remembers, let alone et near, she struggles at first with the fact that not only is Owen her little brothers best friend, but she struggles with the age gap and what others may think when they find out.

Untimately Owen is strong in character and changes Stefs mind and changes her world for the better, he proves that he will be there for her and we get a happy ending with a decent ending.

Such a quick and fun read!
I'm not used to characters in erotica being so human, so normal. But I haven't read too much of it, either, I guess.
I loved the combination of extremely erotic "sexy times" as the author likes to put it and humour. Never thought I could laugh out loud with a book like that, but I so did.
The book had just the right amount of sex in it without it sounding ridiculous. It paired perfectly with the development of their relationship. I especially loved the fact it was the guy swooning over the girl - and for a decade - not the other way around. Very refreshing.

Not my favorite by this author by a long shot, but still a very enjoyable read. A little too much back and forth for the short length, which left the ending feeling rushed and incomplete, but characters were likable enough. I had a few concerns about the writing—I think it’s set in the USA, but Australian language is noticeable throughout—and the repetition of some unsexy words (“pelt” being one), but for the most part, I found myself pretty captivated by this book. Ms. Andrews remains an author I’d happily read just about anything from, so if quick & dirty is your jam, them most definitely give this one a one-click.

Ever since he was 15 Owen has lusted after his best friend’s older sister however due to the fact that she a beauty and he was a geek and the ten year age difference he knows that there could be nothing between them. Some things may have changed since then but the one thing that hasn’t is that his feelings for Stephanie are stronger than ever and while he is staying with her for three weeks waiting for his apartment, he is going to put that time to good use.

Stefanie is a nurse and she can’t believe that the sexy doctor is the same person as the geeky boy she remembers being her brother’s best friend. Too bad that she has sworn off dating doctors and that he is too young, right?

I really enjoyed Owen and Stefanie together. Hot chemistry, humorous banter and the only thing standing between them was Stefanie’s reservations. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The D.I.L.F. by Amy Andrews was my first book by this author and one steamy and sexy older woman/younger man story! Owen has crushed on his best friend’s older sister, Stefanie, since he was a teenager. But as a nerdy gamer and the age difference, there was so chance. Now Owen is an older and sexy doctor who somehow ends up in in Stefanie’s guest room.

Stefanie and Owen had insane chemistry, which sucked for Stefanie, since she was determined to avoid all doctors. Owen, on the other hand, has other ideas, but can he convince her even with all the obstacles in her head? This was a quick story that was so freaking steamy and full of great banter.

Really cute story. I always love the older woman and younger man love story. I just wish there would have been more to it.

Owen (aka the DILF) was WAAAAY too cocky! Like that was such a huge turn off from the very beginning. Otherwise it was decent smut. There was a plot line and it was more than just two people hopping straight to bed. 3/5 stars

Slowly you swoon along with the nurses when they first lay eyes on the new intern. All nurses but one. And jus like that, you’re catapulted into the world of. Stefanie and Owen. While the author slowly builds up the romance, with a bit of suspense, you’ll find your kinky side is lusting right along the way. Hot, steamy, and erotic.

"The D.I.L.F." by Amy Andrews.

5 stars.

One hot ride! I really loved it! But it was too short! I wanted to read more.
Either you like that kind of reading (erotica) or you don't. If you do, you will enjoy that book, it is short but well written and not boring at all!
Also loved the cover, good choice!

Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for letting me read that book for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Oh hello you gorgeous DILF!! Gah this is so steamy and hot that it blows Grey's anatomy out of way.
Stephanie agrees to let her brother's best friend say with her while his new place is being set up. She's expecting the nerd she seen many years before. She is not expecting the hotttt doctor who shows up at her door.
Owen has wanted Stephanie since he first seen her, ten years ago. He is a huge flirt and tries his best to get her to let him in.
Storage closet?! Yes please! Stephanie is a dirty girl when she finally let's loose and caves to Owens demands.
The whole dynamic is what draws you in the story. The characters keep you hooked and leave you wanting more.

Delightfully H-O-T! By far the steamiest Amy Andrews book I've ever read, and simply yummy! Fast paced, really fun characters and lots of steam. There's not a huge plot behind their fun in the sack, but if you're simply looking for a quick dash of steamy lust with a guaranteed happily ever after, you're going to love this book!

Stefanie Leonard doesn't know what she was thinking when she let her kid brother talk her into letting his BFF stay in her spare room for a few weeks. He's a newly minted doctor at the hospital where she works as a nurse, and after a bad experience with one arrogant doctor ex, she's looking to steer clear of the species all together on a personal level. Too bad he's turned into such a hottie and he's all she can think about!

Owen Chandler might be a decade younger than Stef, but he's been secretly in love with her since the summer he met her as a teen. This is the only opportunity he's ever going to get to make her see him as something other than her little bro's friend, so he's not going to waste a minute of the time he's been blessed with. Mega flirting and turning on the sex appeal, here I come!

3.5 stars for this entertaining erotic romance.

Amy Andrews writes fun, sexy contemporary romances and I've enjoyed several of her offerings in the past, including her Sydney Smoke Rugby series. In her latest steamy novella titled The D.I.L.F (Doctor I'd like to...um...fornicate with), she tackles both workplace romance and sibling's best friend tropes in a story that is more about sex than substance but is an enjoyable way to while away an hour or two.

When nurse Stefanie Leonard learns that there's a new D.I.L.F (as her fellow staff members describe him) at the hospital she's just as curious as they are to find out more. To her surprise, he turns out to be Owen Chandler, her younger brother's best friend. Ten years younger in fact. Her brother Freddie had asked if she'd be able to put Owen up for a few weeks as he started his doctor's internship at St. Bart's and of course she'd said yes, memories of the geeky, lanky 15 year old making her smile. But 25 year old Owen is nothing like that teenager – he's H.O.T. and not shy about letting her know that he's interested in her, in a more than just friendly manner. Despite her initial qualms, Owen is persuasive in just the right way to get her into bed with him for a short term affair. But when Owen says he wants more, will Stefanie put aside her reservations and consider a real relationship?

This novella is part of Entangled Publishing's 'One Handed Reads imprint (I'll leave the meaning of that to your imagination) and shows in the fact that fully one third of the story is sex scenes (including voyeurism, role play and use of toys) and another significant portion is Stef and Owen talking about sex when not actually doing the deed. Some of the sex scenes take place at the hospital but the ethics of that isn't really concerning since they are co-workers and not in a supervisory type relationship. That doesn't leave a lot for character development or story plot – really, the development of their sexual relationship is the plot. There's some concern on Stef's part for getting involved with her brother's best friend, though more so because of his age than the friendship. Owen's had a crush on Stef since he was a teenager so it's a dream come true for him to get to sleep with her, but the more he gets to know her as an adult, the more he likes her. Insta-lust turns to insta-love pretty quickly, but all is not smooth sailing as Owen has to convince Stef that he can be her 'one' for the future.

A pet peeve of mine in best friend's sibling romances is situations where a guy gets upset with a friend dating his sister. I like how this is handled here. Freddie reacts badly when he first discovers them making out, and it makes Stef second guess herself but Owen is quick to come to Stef's defense and remind Freddie that they are all adults here and she (and he) can make their own choices. Freddie comes around quickly. With few bumps in the road Owen and Stef get their happy ending, complete with a sweet and sex-filled epilogue. Compared with the author's other books this one is a 'what you see is what you get' entry in her repertoire, with no real angst or deep dilemmas to sink your teeth into. If you like quick steamy reads this will fit the bill.
