This is great for the dark soul that's getting over a rough time.  I think a past me would have enjoyed this more--the past me that was in a darker place, a harder time.  This compilation would have created a sense of community, a spark of "Oh!  Someone gets it!"  However, that being said, I don't think that this book would be for the average poetry-reader.  It's certainly aimed towards a particular audience, a particular demographic, and for them this collection will be a book they'll want to hold onto.

I'm a sucker for a book of poetry. I love the way the words paint pictures and emotions...but this just didn't cut it for me. I felt like it was trying to hard and came off like a collection of middle school emo broken hearted poetry. It just didn't speak to me.

Beautiful poetry collection! It was a quick read and I loved it very much. I’m not that big of a fan of poetry but I still liked the book! Perfect for Valentine’s Day, as it is all about loving yourself above all else. ❤️

The way it's written, just gave me goosebumps. The author does a great way of making you feel the same emotions. You could just feel how powerful the authors emotions were at times, and in others how hurt she was. https://ellasbookcorner.wordpress.com/?p=165

The poetry is this book is quite interesting and well-written. It is just as the title implies, poems for the broken. At least, it starts out that way. The poems quickly become more and more sexual and explicit. My three star rating is due to the sexuality and the fact that I cannot recommend this book to my students.

"men are taught to take what they please
women are taught to relinquish their treasures with a smile.
It's why women mistake brutality for love
And men believe a woman's body is for them
to seize without consequences"

Bleed like me: Poems for the broken is a collection of strong poems for women and about woman. All touching a bit o that dark side of love. The unrequited, the abusive, the cheating, the murderous.

"drip, drip, drip
it's the flow of my passion falling
drip, drip, drip
it's the blood from my wounds crawling
drip, drip, drip
it's the pain of my tears descending
drip, drip, drip
it's the soul of my broken heart trickling
drip, drip, drip
it's the heart of my lover shattering."

It isn't a easy read, for times I had to stop after a few poems to recompose. They are dark, they are passionate. Beautiful in a broken way.

I'm usually a fan of confessional poetry but this collection suffered from a lack of editing. When you collect a lot of poems of a similar nature together it's useful to divide the book into sections so that there is some sort of narrative scope. Also, experimenting with different poetic styles and devices would have helped ease the monotony of reading one bleak work after another.

Bleed like me by Azzurra Nox.
This is a book about love and the wounds that it can bring. It explores the exhilaration of first love, the damage of unrequited love, and the distress of abandonment. The poems are little memories that come alive, a journey between reality and fantasy, often mingling as one. Fragments of life depicted in words. This is a collection of poems both cruel and sweet. The poems depict the difference between how we perceive ourselves and how others perceive us. But most of all, this is a kaleidoscope of emotions that are multiplied and amplified as the reader looks into the window of a young woman's heart.
This was a good read. Different. Some poems I liked more than others.
This was a very good read. Some poems I really enjoyed and some left Me wondering. My favourites were
Little eyes
Artificial humanoid
Golden cage

How can I even begin to review this book of poetry. The writing is raw, vulnerable, and real. I will be purchasing this one.
It is an exquisite work by a very talented poet.
5/5 stars and highly recommended for any modern poetry lover.

I felt that the writing seemed really pretty and the word choice was interesting but the poems got quite samey after a while. The topic chosen by Azzurra is one where you can approach it from different angles but i'm afraid it didn't feel like she did.

The poems in this collection are pretty unique in the sense that they're more in depth than some contemporary poetry out there. They were very dark and gothic and felt as if I were reading them from the library of the Addams family or the Munsters.
Out of the entire collection, my favorite has to be 'Ice Princess.' To me it tells the story of someone who cannot bear to be broken-hearted again so they turn to ice and seek only love for themselves. However, these poems are definitely not for the light-hearted. These poems are dark and angry and very vivid. Because of this I have to mention that there are some triggers that should be taken in consideration before reading. For example: suicide, self-harm, domestic violence, and rape although I am probably missing a few. I'll have to admit I had to skip a few poems that described self-harm because of personal reasons.

Beautiful poems, they talk to your soul. The vivid imagery painted is just wonderful. They are Tormented, sad, angry and yet at times uplifting, independent and free. A great collection.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion
