This book was a DNF for me. The premise looked really interesting but the book fell flat. The characters weren't really interesting and I couldn't bring myself to care for them.

I did it like this book it was interesting but the characters were not developed. I will pass on others in this series.

This is the first book in a new series by S. I Taylor and the first by this author that I have read. Just FYI, it does end on a cliffhanger, which I am not a real fan of, but that being said, this was an interesting read and the world building by this author was good. Sometimes the conversations between the characters seemed stilted, but there was still good interactions between them. The gist of the story is that there is trouble brewing (isn’t it always?) and they have to figure out how to try and solve this problem. Want to find out what the problem is and if it’s solved? Then read the book!

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I was excited for this book because it sounded so interesting and PNR is my all time favorite genre. Unfortunately I didn't care much for this book. The overall idea of the story was intriguing, but it just fell flat for me and didn't keep me interested enough to finish it.

This was not for me, I just wasn't interested in the characters. I never finished it sad to say.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance read, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Not for me unfortunately, sounded good but it couldn’t keep me interested. I found the characters a bit flat and empty and their behaviour completely unrealistic and forced. I was hoping for more and persevered but sadly not for me.
